Jesus makes the same invitation to you today. To be willing to die for the sake of love. Now in 2020, you might not be looking at martyrdom in the United States, but would you be willing to die for Christ? Would you be willing to be tortured and killed? Would you be willing to lose everything to follow this man who claimed that he was God incarnate? I want to tell you that if you make this choice, it will change everything. Jesus offers you victory in the war between good and evil. He reveals to you not only who God is, but he also reveals what it means to be truly human. Jesus is the fullness of revelation, and he gives us access to the Father. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-art-of-living-well/support
There is a story to this human experience. There is meaning. Think about this for a minute, before you can truly discover the depths of your own particular story. The whole human quest can be understood as how humans have sought to find meaning out of the complexities of creation. But really to boil it down to what is most essential, the whole story of the human experience can be summarized as humanity seeking God. God changed everything when he set into motion his plan to win back humanity. He revealed himself to us and gradually prepared the way for Jesus Christ. The whole Old Testament was to lead humanity back to God. In the same way, God wants to lead you back to him. We are born in sin. We have chaos within. By his plan, he draws us back to himself and renews our humanity and transforms it. This is the fundamental story that all of us most embrace. #atheist #atheism #catholic #god --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-art-of-living-well/support
