Feeling overwhelmed, isolated, or like you're constantly losing battles in your life? In this episode, Pastor Stephen Mizell discusses spiritual warfare and how to stand victorious in Christ. In the final sermon of our "Stronger" series through Ephesians, we uncover the truth about who your real enemy is—and it's not the people around you. Discover how the enemy uses deception, division, and distraction to keep you defeated, and learn the practical steps to put on God's armor every single day. IN THIS EPISODE: Why people are your mission field, not your problem The three tactics Satan uses to keep you defeated How to intentionally put on each piece of God's armor Why prayer doesn't just make you stronger—it makes you surrender The deadly trap of isolation and why you can't fight alone How the church functions as both hospital and army KEY SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 6:10-24 This isn't symbolic fluff—it's spiritual reality. Paul reminds us that we're not fighting against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces in the unseen world. The good news? God never sends His soldiers into battle unarmed. You have everything you need to win the fight. Whether you're a brand new believer or you've been walking with Christ for decades, this message will equip you to recognize the battle, armor up, pray with power, and stand firm together with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Welcome to today's “Identity in the Battle” series, where we continue our exploration of the powerful image Paul gives us in Ephesians 6: the Armor of God. Stephanie Rousselle dives into the spiritual realities of our identity in Christ and how we're equipped to stand strong in spiritual warfare. In our previous episode, (episode 415) we looked at the first few pieces of this armor. So, how do we live victoriously through our spiritual battles? Let's see what Paul has to teach us through his letter to the Ephesians. Context and Purpose Paul sets the stage by reminding us that as followers of Christ, we're engaged in a real, everyday spiritual battle. The “Armor of God” is not just a metaphor; it's a God-given resource to ground us in our identity, empower us, and unite us as the body of Christ. The Shield of Faith Paul's words to the Ephesians brings the shield to life. In Greek, the word is literally “door,” emphasizing its large, protective nature—big enough to hide a soldier entirely. Roman soldiers would lock shields together, signifying unity and teamwork. Alone, we may stand vulnerable, but joined with others in faith, we're nearly impenetrable. The shield also features hinges—faith is “active,” meant to be flexible, adapting to every circumstance. The shield extinguishes “all the flaming arrows of the evil one.” These arrows primarily serve as distractions. Satan often uses “fiery darts” not just to harm, but mostly to divert our attention, separating us from our main purpose and leaving us vulnerable to further attacks. Stephanie reminds us to recognize life's distractions and stay focused—don't mistake the fire for the real enemy! We are challenged to take stock of how many times our faith has shielded us from attack, and to recognize each as a testimony to God's faithfulness. The Helmet of Salvation Just as medicine must be applied—not merely owned—salvation transforms us when we “put it on” daily. The helmet protects our minds from the enemy's lies, renewing our thoughts through daily application. Our salvation is both a present reality and a future inheritance; we're called to live now with the confidence, hope, and abundance Christ offers, not a mindset of spiritual scarcity. The Sword of the Spirit The “sword” is the Word of God—both Scripture and Jesus Himself. Scripture is not merely ink on paper, but alive and active, shaping us as we wield its truths. So, memorizing, speaking, and applying Scripture is our offensive weapon, capable of cutting through lies, confusion, and spiritual strongholds. Prayer as Our Ultimate Weapon Finally, Paul underscores prayer as the glue of our spiritual arsenal. Prayer is not a formality; it's the relational heartbeat with our Commander-in-Chief, Jesus. To kneel in prayer is the only way to stand firm against the enemy. Conclusion: Victory and Identity As believers, we're not called to fight alone. Armor is meant to be worn in unity, our eyes fixed on Jesus, our victorious leader. We're warriors today—clothed for battle—but one day, we'll trade our armor for bridal garments, celebrating our eternal victory in Christ. Until then, let's stand firm, united, and equipped with every spiritual blessing, living out our new identity in Him. Reflection: What distractions (flaming arrows) are keeping you from focusing on your true spiritual battle? Where do you need to “lock shields” with others? On October 29, 2025, host Jeff opens the show with Scripture and a quick Word-on-Word segment (Philippians 4:8 vs. Romans 12:1) before moving into rapid-fire news and spiritual commentary with guest John Brisson of "We've Read the Documents." The episode blends faith-based analysis with current events, encouragement to join a community prayer call, and an interactive game for chat participation. Topics covered include the devastating hurricane in Jamaica and questions about weather modification, recent extreme weather and earthquake trends, and how these events are read through a providential and end-times lens. Jeff and John discuss the human toll, the possibility of deliberate manipulation, and the broader context of increasing natural disasters as "birth pangs" in the latter days. The pair dig into political controversies: the auto‑pen/pardon revelations (including discussion of James Comer and whether Fauci's pardon could be overturned), expected indictments, and the continuing debate over the legitimacy of the 2020 election and its downstream consequences. They also examine the influence networks behind conservative media personalities — from Foster Fries' funding ties to Turning Point USA to Candace Owens' recent probing of military connections among influencers — and the complicated question of guilt by association. Jeff and John address QAnon-era actors (Praying Medic, Tracy Beanz, Michael Flynn connections), debate whether Q posts were orchestrated or prophetic, and warn about esoteric and Gnostic influence on Christian audiences. The conversation includes concerns about false prophets, dominion theology, and how some Christian voices have been attracted to conspiratorial or esoteric frameworks. A highlight of the episode is a short interactive "gnarly words" game centered on a clip from the White House prayer team. Jeff and John break down NAR/dominionist language — declarations, territory-taking, shaking/quaking imagery, and claims of bringing heaven to earth — and invite listeners to spot troubling phrases and discuss how to discern prophetic versus manipulative rhetoric. Practical, pastoral moments appear throughout: a reminder to love God and neighbor, an appeal to support local communities and the hungry, and a frank discussion about food stamps, fraud, and compassion for immigrants. Jeff closes with final reflections, a fundraising update, and an invitation to the evening prayer call, encouraging listeners to stay engaged in faith and community amid turbulent news cycles. Today's Promise: Deuteronomy 20:4 When the Israelites stood on the edge of the Promised Land, they faced a daunting reality — new challenges, powerful enemies, and overwhelming odds. Yet Moses reminded them of a powerful truth: “For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”   In this episode, we're reminded that just as God fought for Israel, He still fights for His people today. Every day brings its own battles — physical, emotional, or spiritual, but you never face them alone. The same God who parted the Red Sea and brought down the walls of Jericho goes before you, stands beside you, and fights on your behalf.   Don't let fear or insecurity take control. Victory doesn't come from your strength or your strategy, but from God's presence and power working through you. Whatever battle you face today, you can stand firm knowing that the Lord your God goes with you — and He never loses a fight.

Welcome back to Nephilim Death Squad, hosted by David Lee Corbo (The Raven), Top Lobsta, and Matt — diving head-first into The Book of Daniel: Part 5.This episode starts with wild studio banter about Blue Letter Bible, censorship, and the blurred lines between faith, humor, and modern church culture — and then explodes into a raw, spirit-charged breakdown of Daniel 10 – 11.From spiritual warfare in the unseen realm to Michael the Archangel, Persia vs Greece, and prophecy unfolding before our eyes, this is the kind of study only NDS could deliver — equal parts Bible study, conspiracy revelation, and dark comedy.

Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Check out our mission to teach every verse of the Bible on video in what we call Project23. Our text today is Judges 7:23–25. The men of Israel were called out from Naphtali and from Asher and from all Manasseh, and they pursued after Midian. Gideon sent messengers throughout all the hill country of Ephraim, saying, “Come down against the Midianites and capture the waters against them as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan.” So all the men of Ephraim were called out, and they captured the waters as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan. And they captured the two princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb they killed at the winepress of Zeeb. Then they pursued Midian, and they brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon across the Jordan. — Judges 7:23-25 The enemy is on the run. The chaos God caused in the Midianite camp has scattered them, but Gideon knows the job isn't done. If they stop now, the Midianites would merely regroup and return with more vengeance. So Gideon calls reinforcements from Israel. Naphtali, Asher, Manasseh, and Ephraim to cut off escape routes and secure the waters by the Jordan. The mission is clear — don't just win; eliminate the threat, what they should have done in the first place. The pursuit ends with the capture and death of two Midianite princes, Oreb and Zeeb, marking a decisive blow against the enemy. In our spiritual battles, the first breakthrough is usually only the beginning. God may win a decisive moment, but he calls us to follow through — to pursue, to cut off any possible retreat, to finish what he started. Don't celebrate too early and let your guard down. It's good to break free from one sin, but if you don't build new habits of holiness, you will let the same enemy back into your camp, too. Make a bold stand for your faith, but do not stop short of complete and total obedience. Finishing well means staying engaged until the enemy has no foothold left. In your life, that might mean following up a spiritual victory with accountability, continued prayer, Scripture intake, or cutting off lingering access points for temptation. God doesn't just want to give you a taste of freedom — He wants you to walk in freedom completely. ASK THIS: Where have you celebrated too early in your spiritual battles? What “enemy footholds” still need to be removed from your life? Who could you invite to help you finish well? How can you make sure today's victory becomes tomorrow's testimony? DO THIS: Identify one area where you've stopped short of full victory. Take one specific action today to close the gap and finish what God started. PRAY THIS: Lord, thank You for the victories You've already won in my life. Give me the perseverance to finish the work You've called me to and remove every foothold the enemy could use against me. Amen. PLAY THIS: "See a Victory."

Science confirms the truth we are given in Genesis 2:15—that Adam is designed to shape and protect the garden. Since Adam and Eve's sin brought Satan, sin, and destruction into the garden, all our efforts to shape our lives and culture in righteousness are opposed by this triumvirate. We must fight, in the power of Christ, for every inch of ground. Today we examine a powerful WEAPON for this fight: prayer. But viewing prayer as a weapon for fighting is probably NOT what most men think of prayer as being for. They see prayer as praise to God, confession to God, thankfulness to God, requesting God's help for those grieving or having surgery. But rarely do we see prayer used the way Paul tells us in Eph 6”18 it is to be used: as an act of war. And when men understand this dimension of prayer, prayer moves from being a guilt-producing obligation to becoming a life-changing thrill! Could that happen in your prayer life? Yes, and that is our goal in this episode. For Further Prayerful Thought: Why do think Christians don't see prayer more as a weapon? What is wrong with saying that after the resurrection, Jesus left this world to go back to heaven and be with God?What does Jesus want Christians to during this stage of salvation history, between his ascension to God's right hand and his final return? Why is it important, that Jesus prefaced his command to make disciples of all nations with, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me, Therefore…”? For the printed version of this message click here. For a summary of topics addressed by podcast series, click here. For FREE downloadable studies on men's issues click here.To make an online contribution to enable others to hear about the podcast: (Click link and scroll down to bottom left)
