On October 29, 2025, host Jeff opens the show with Scripture and a quick Word-on-Word segment (Philippians 4:8 vs. Romans 12:1) before moving into rapid-fire news and spiritual commentary with guest John Brisson of "We've Read the Documents." The episode blends faith-based analysis with current events, encouragement to join a community prayer call, and an interactive game for chat participation. Topics covered include the devastating hurricane in Jamaica and questions about weather modification, recent extreme weather and earthquake trends, and how these events are read through a providential and end-times lens. Jeff and John discuss the human toll, the possibility of deliberate manipulation, and the broader context of increasing natural disasters as "birth pangs" in the latter days. The pair dig into political controversies: the auto‑pen/pardon revelations (including discussion of James Comer and whether Fauci's pardon could be overturned), expected indictments, and the continuing debate over the legitimacy of the 2020 election and its downstream consequences. They also examine the influence networks behind conservative media personalities — from Foster Fries' funding ties to Turning Point USA to Candace Owens' recent probing of military connections among influencers — and the complicated question of guilt by association. Jeff and John address QAnon-era actors (Praying Medic, Tracy Beanz, Michael Flynn connections), debate whether Q posts were orchestrated or prophetic, and warn about esoteric and Gnostic influence on Christian audiences. The conversation includes concerns about false prophets, dominion theology, and how some Christian voices have been attracted to conspiratorial or esoteric frameworks. A highlight of the episode is a short interactive "gnarly words" game centered on a clip from the White House prayer team. Jeff and John break down NAR/dominionist language — declarations, territory-taking, shaking/quaking imagery, and claims of bringing heaven to earth — and invite listeners to spot troubling phrases and discuss how to discern prophetic versus manipulative rhetoric. Practical, pastoral moments appear throughout: a reminder to love God and neighbor, an appeal to support local communities and the hungry, and a frank discussion about food stamps, fraud, and compassion for immigrants. Jeff closes with final reflections, a fundraising update, and an invitation to the evening prayer call, encouraging listeners to stay engaged in faith and community amid turbulent news cycles. Today's Promise: Deuteronomy 20:4 When the Israelites stood on the edge of the Promised Land, they faced a daunting reality — new challenges, powerful enemies, and overwhelming odds. Yet Moses reminded them of a powerful truth: “For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”   In this episode, we're reminded that just as God fought for Israel, He still fights for His people today. Every day brings its own battles — physical, emotional, or spiritual, but you never face them alone. The same God who parted the Red Sea and brought down the walls of Jericho goes before you, stands beside you, and fights on your behalf.   Don't let fear or insecurity take control. Victory doesn't come from your strength or your strategy, but from God's presence and power working through you. Whatever battle you face today, you can stand firm knowing that the Lord your God goes with you — and He never loses a fight.

Welcome to The Daily, where we study the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter, every day. Check out our mission to teach every verse of the Bible on video in what we call Project23. Our text today is Judges 7:23–25. The men of Israel were called out from Naphtali and from Asher and from all Manasseh, and they pursued after Midian. Gideon sent messengers throughout all the hill country of Ephraim, saying, “Come down against the Midianites and capture the waters against them as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan.” So all the men of Ephraim were called out, and they captured the waters as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan. And they captured the two princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb they killed at the winepress of Zeeb. Then they pursued Midian, and they brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon across the Jordan. — Judges 7:23-25 The enemy is on the run. The chaos God caused in the Midianite camp has scattered them, but Gideon knows the job isn't done. If they stop now, the Midianites would merely regroup and return with more vengeance. So Gideon calls reinforcements from Israel. Naphtali, Asher, Manasseh, and Ephraim to cut off escape routes and secure the waters by the Jordan. The mission is clear — don't just win; eliminate the threat, what they should have done in the first place. The pursuit ends with the capture and death of two Midianite princes, Oreb and Zeeb, marking a decisive blow against the enemy. In our spiritual battles, the first breakthrough is usually only the beginning. God may win a decisive moment, but he calls us to follow through — to pursue, to cut off any possible retreat, to finish what he started. Don't celebrate too early and let your guard down. It's good to break free from one sin, but if you don't build new habits of holiness, you will let the same enemy back into your camp, too. Make a bold stand for your faith, but do not stop short of complete and total obedience. Finishing well means staying engaged until the enemy has no foothold left. In your life, that might mean following up a spiritual victory with accountability, continued prayer, Scripture intake, or cutting off lingering access points for temptation. God doesn't just want to give you a taste of freedom — He wants you to walk in freedom completely. ASK THIS: Where have you celebrated too early in your spiritual battles? What “enemy footholds” still need to be removed from your life? Who could you invite to help you finish well? How can you make sure today's victory becomes tomorrow's testimony? DO THIS: Identify one area where you've stopped short of full victory. Take one specific action today to close the gap and finish what God started. PRAY THIS: Lord, thank You for the victories You've already won in my life. Give me the perseverance to finish the work You've called me to and remove every foothold the enemy could use against me. Amen. PLAY THIS: "See a Victory."

Science confirms the truth we are given in Genesis 2:15—that Adam is designed to shape and protect the garden. Since Adam and Eve's sin brought Satan, sin, and destruction into the garden, all our efforts to shape our lives and culture in righteousness are opposed by this triumvirate. We must fight, in the power of Christ, for every inch of ground. Today we examine a powerful WEAPON for this fight: prayer. But viewing prayer as a weapon for fighting is probably NOT what most men think of prayer as being for. They see prayer as praise to God, confession to God, thankfulness to God, requesting God's help for those grieving or having surgery. But rarely do we see prayer used the way Paul tells us in Eph 6”18 it is to be used: as an act of war. And when men understand this dimension of prayer, prayer moves from being a guilt-producing obligation to becoming a life-changing thrill! Could that happen in your prayer life? Yes, and that is our goal in this episode. For Further Prayerful Thought: Why do think Christians don't see prayer more as a weapon? What is wrong with saying that after the resurrection, Jesus left this world to go back to heaven and be with God?What does Jesus want Christians to during this stage of salvation history, between his ascension to God's right hand and his final return? Why is it important, that Jesus prefaced his command to make disciples of all nations with, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me, Therefore…”? For the printed version of this message click here. For a summary of topics addressed by podcast series, click here. For FREE downloadable studies on men's issues click here.To make an online contribution to enable others to hear about the podcast: (Click link and scroll down to bottom left)

In this sermon by Pastor Chris Romig, the focus is on the spiritual battle at the heart of Jesus' ministry and its relevance for believers today. Chris highlights how Jesus, during his years of ministry, especially in Galilee, was constantly confronted by demonic forces, emphasizing that prayer was central to his spiritual strength and battle against evil. Chris draws from Mark's Gospel, particularly the story of Jesus casting out demons, to show that Jesus' mission was more than teaching or healing it was about bringing God's kingdom into a world of darkness and directly confronting evil. He notes how Jesus redefines the idea of “the enemy” moving the focus away from human adversaries, like the Romans, to the true enemy: Satan and spiritual forces behind human conflict. Christians, Chris says, should not demonize others but recognize the spiritual reality behind hate and division. Turning to current events, Chris laments the assassination of Charlie Kirk, urging believers to respond not with hatred but with prayer, forgiveness, and a renewed sense of spiritual mission. He calls the church to stand firm by praying, knowing and sharing God's Word, and worshipping as essential ways to engage in spiritual warfare. Chris ends with a word of encouragement and hope, reminding Christians that despite the turmoil in the world, Jesus is victorious. He urges the congregation to engage courageously in faith, prayer, and praise, recognizing their role in God's ongoing work and looking forward to Christ's ultimate renewal of all things.

SUMMARY: *The conversation centers around the challenges of parenting, particularly when dealing with prodigal children—those who stray from their upbringing and values. *The speakers discuss the emotional and spiritual battles parents face, emphasizing the importance of spiritual warfare and maintaining a relationship with God. *Personal experiences of feeling unprepared for the struggles of raising children, especially as they grow older and make their own choices. *Debra McNinch shares the battle plan God showed her and reminded parents that the outcome of their children's lives is ultimately in God's hands. *Forgiveness for moms who struggle with guilt was discussed and Debra shares a 3 point process to use. She reminded listeners the need to accept God's forgiveness and to stand firm in faith, even amidst difficulties. *The discussion highlights the significance of identity in Christ and the importance of loving children without compromising biblical truths. *The speakers conclude by promoting a sense of community among parents facing similar challenges and encouraging them to remember that they are not alone in their battles. PODCAST INTRO: My guest, Debra McNinch sits down to have an in-depth conversation about prodigal children and we talked about all the ways this affects a mother's heart. No matter the type of rebellion your child is walking in, addiction, LGBTQ, rebellion of family values, estrangement, cutting off parents has become a huge movement…really any way that we see our children living outside the way they were raised specifically the biblical values that the parent tried to instill. We talked about guilt and how mom's and dad's can find forgiveness vs beating ourselves up over the would'ves, could'ves & should'ves. I'll put (in the show notes) a quick list of the 3 ways to engage forgiveness but don't miss out on the message surrounding it because Debra gives much more info in the episode itself. We looked at shifting the burden that we carry in our heart for our child's salvation and their entry into heaven because ultimately it's not our responsibility, it's God's job and He is trustworthy to watch over His children. God has a purpose and a plan for your child just like He has one for you. I beginning to understand that the key is learning how to get behind God to support what God is doing. But I'll be honest, that is not for the weak hearted because you have to be willing to lay down the illusion we carry with regard to control, we have to address our pride and we have to be willing to cling to God when we see our children struggling through consequences. We acknowledged that this is spiritual warfare and that Satan is trying his best to not only destroy the family unit but to cut off and destroy generations that belong to our children. Debra shares a strategy for our battle stance to be able to affectively engage and strike down the enemy of our soul. We may not be responsible for our children's faith but as Debra says, Love goes to war; so we can certainly stand in the gap and effectively fight the Goliath that is coming after them. Debra's 5 point battle stance that she shares can also be seen in the show notes but again, she shares much more detail in the episode so don't miss that bit of gold. Some of our conversation is based on the belief that if we raise a child in the church and instill biblical values we believe we have a guarantee of their salvation and their pursuit of Christ and heaven's value system etc. but many of us know that it does not guarantee they will always adhere to those instilled values. If I had to boil this conversation down to 2 major takeaways, it would be hard but I think I'd side with Debra's personal battle cry…No one fights alone and also when she said something that I have come to understand more deeply after walking this valley of loosing my husband….”God's promise isn't that you're going to get the perfect outcome. His promise is that He'll never leave you and that He's going to walk with you the whole way.” Knowing you're not alone is a lifeline for the heart. Near the end of our conversation Debra had me super encouraged as she gave the battle cry for all parents to stand up. For us to fight the lies that culture dictates, and to dismantle the belief that we're powerless adding that engaging God's heart in the battle is where our power comes from. If you're a parent of a prodigal, Debra offers guidance and hope. You can receive more in-depth instruction in her book, Battle Cry - Waging the Spiritual Battle for Your Prodigal. And you can find encouragement in her support group, Battlecrymoms.com. Let's listen in to find hope and understanding on how to engage the power of Christ in order to give God the burden and how we are to stand in agreement with Him. Live Loved and Thrive! Sherrie Pilk 3 STEPS TO FIND FORGIVENESS: - Go to the alter ask God for forgiveness - Ask your child forgiveness - Put on the Armor (action) and Stand (in faith) that Christ is going to fight the battle for you. BATTLE STANCE TO STAND IN THE GAP FOR YOUR CHILD: - Pick a verse for your child and pray it over their life every day. - Worship - God inhabits our praise/worship. - Pray - Acknowledge God's full authority over your child. - Speak God's promises over your child. - Connect with a supportive Community. Love to hear from you; “Send us a Text Message”Have you ever observed people walking down a street completely absorbed in their phones, disconnected from one another and their surroundings? Jack and Deacon Greg Farrell describe this modern phenomenon as a "zombie apocalypse" – bodies moving through space without authentic spiritual life. This haunting image perfectly captures the crisis facing many today, especially young people struggling with unprecedented levels of anxiety and depression. The Claymore discipleship program offers a powerful antidote to this spiritual disconnection. Developed by the John Paul II Renewal Center, this battle plan guides men through Scripture reading, prayer, and fellowship with others on the same journey. At its heart lies the practice of Lectio Divina – a contemplative reading of Scripture that allows God's word to penetrate deeply into one's heart.Deacon Greg shares a profound reframing of Jesus's words about "the gates of the netherworld" from Matthew 16. Rather than seeing the Church as merely defending against attacks, we should understand that gates don't attack—they imprison. Our mission as disciples is to storm these gates and free those trapped behind them. These gates represent the many ways we imprison ourselves through addiction to technology, pride, anger, fear, and the fundamental lie that we don't need God.Ready to storm the gates? Heather speaks into the aftermath of last week’s tragic events to address how these unsettling times can actually serve as a wake-up call for Christian women struggling with body image and comparison. Instead of focusing on the headlines, Heather invites listeners to examine what we’re really battling daily. She explores the big idea that our struggle isn’t with the scale, the mirror, or even other women—it’s a spiritual battle, not “against flesh and blood,” as Ephesians 6:12 says. Heather shares a relatable story about getting a speeding ticket (and her less-than-humble reaction!) as an illustration of the subtle ways pride and self-focus sneak in, keeping us distracted from what God is calling us to. Here are some references & main themes: The assassination of Charlie Kirk: Not the main focus of the episode, but this tragic event is used as context for discussing spiritual wake-up calls and living boldly for Jesus. Us vs. them mentality: How cultural polarization and volatility can lead to numbness or withdrawal, even from our spiritual callings. Spiritual battle vs. physical struggle: Using Ephesians 6:12, Heather emphasizes we need to recognize the spiritual nature of our struggles—especially with body image, insecurity, and comparison. Armor of God (Ephesians 6): Are you more worried about what you wear or making sure you have the armor of God on? The lie of “my truth” vs. God’s truth: Heather draws from the cultural trend of embracing “my truth” and contrasts it with God’s truth, especially in how we view ourselves and our worth. Pride and self-righteousness: Illustrated through her personal speeding ticket story, reminding us how quickly we default to excusing ourselves and judging others. Encouragement for action: Rather than “doing more” or “trying harder,” Heather invites listeners to actually follow Jesus, not just fit Him into their goals and plans. Overcoming shame and guilt: She warns listeners not to get caught in the enemy’s trap of shame for not being "further along" in their spiritual walk, and instead to run toward Jesus, the light, and real security. Programs and Resources Mentioned: 40-Day Journey: Starts October 1st, with groups beginning October 7th. Details at improvebodyimage.com or directly at: https://www.improvebodyimage.com/40-day-challenge Body Image Freedom Framework: Heather’s online course for deeper freedom in the areas discussed in the episode. Coaching and community offerings: Here are links to programs designed to equip women for the real battle. Questions to Reflect On: Which “battle” am I spending most of my time and energy on each day? How does believing my own truth about my body or worth keep me from living in God’s truth? Am I taking Jesus along for my ride, or am I letting Him lead? Final encouragement: Heather calls listeners to reject shame, fight the real battle, and let their light shine for Christ. She challenges us to think about how we will be remembered—not as women obsessed with their image, but as those unafraid to shine the light of Jesus. For more: Listen to this episode for Heather’s personal stories, practical encouragement, and a heartfelt call to step out of comparison and into true freedom. In this episode of The Israel Guys, we reflect on the shocking events of September 10th and the loss of Charlie Kirk, a bold Christian leader who stood fearlessly for God, the Bible, and the people of Israel. Known as a voice for the next generation, Charlie inspired millions through his organization, his podcast, and his unwavering defense of Israel. We revisit his words on faith, family, and the Jewish people, highlighting his powerful call that “when people stop talking, bad things happen.” His dedication to speaking truth and defending Judeo-Christian values made him a target, and his passing leaves a profound void. Alongside reactions from Ari, Tommy, Jeremy, Luke, we explore what this means for Israel supporters and conservatives in America. From Charlie's teachings about why Christians should honor Shabbat and his condemnation of Jew-hatred, to responses from leaders like Prime Minister Netanyahu and Dennis Prager, this episode grapples with what comes next. Our message is clear: in a world full of anti-Zionism, conspiracies, and Jew-hatred, the right response is to strengthen faith, build families, honor the Bible, and stand with Israel.
