Play Episode Listen Later Jul 2, 2023 30:46

"Who is this Jesus? That's the question everyone is asking in the first half of the Gospel of John. Through seven signs and seven “I am” statements, Jesus answers this question, revealing His identity as the Son of God. John's very purpose for writing his Gospel is to declare that Jesus is the Messiah, sent by the Father to do the Father's works, and we receive eternal life when we believe in Him. Once we learn this truth, we're left with only two responses: to fall at His feet or pick up a stone."JOIN Belinda Dunn and Crystal Kucera as they uncover and discuss the riches that are to be found in the Gospel of John. You can engage with the Scriptures by joining the corresponding Hillside 2023 Reading Plan by downloading your digital bookmark here!

He doesn't miss people along His way, instead He sees people, and He relentlessly pursues and loves them."Check out our newest podcast episode, featuring Mike and Kelly Gundersen, as they unpack the generosity of God in these final chapters of Luke.Engage with the second half of Luke's Gospel by joining the corresponding Hillside 2023 Reading Plan by downloading your digital bookmark here!

This grace invites us to freedom knowing that we are fully loved for who we are and not for what we do."Check out our latest podcast episode, featuring Allyn Anderson and Ben Stagg, as they unpack the story of redemption found in the pages of Luke. Engage with the first half of Mark by joining the corresponding Hillside 2023 Reading Plan by downloading your digital bookmark here!

Despite severe opposition, Nehemiah and the people set up the boundary lines of the city to roll away the reproach of exile and to begin to establish a national identity. Although the people have been destroyed physically and their spiritual life is in shambles at the end of exile, we see God's faithfulness in remembering his promises to his covenant people.
