This could finally settle the perimeter bonding debate with hard data. Finally, Rudy Stankowitz exposes the silent EPA regulation that outlawed the outdoor use of sodium bromide. No headlines, no warning—just a quiet shift that leaves pool pros carrying the burden. We discuss bromate risks, industry backlash, and what comes next. This episode is your no-fluff survival guide to navigating shifting rules, shrinking supplies, and the science that still keeps your pools safe.Sodium bromide was quietly outlawed for outdoor use.The burden of compliance shifted unexpectedly to pool professionals.Regulatory decisions were made without consulting industry experts. The label change for sodium bromide has significant implications for pool care.Bromate, a byproduct of sodium bromide, poses health risks. The EPA's decision was based on precautionary principles due to insufficient data.Pool professionals need to educate clients about these changes.Alternatives to sodium bromide may come with higher costs and longer treatment times.Industry voices must unite to advocate for fair regulations.Future studies may provide data to challenge the current ban on sodium bromide.Sound Bites"It was bureaucracy doing what it does best.""The human cost of silent regulation.""You were never considered in this decision."Chapters00:00The Silent Regulation of Sodium Bromide01:36Silver Algaecide: Treatment for Black Algae02:00Blu-ray Algaecide: How It Works Support the showThank you so much for listening! AP correspondent Julie Walker reports on Sean 'Diddy" Combs mixed verdict, bail denial and what comes next.
United States correspondent Todd Zwillich spoke to Lisa Owen about the latest updates in the Sean 'Diddy' Combs trial - Combs has been acquitted of the most serious charges in his criminal federal trial. However, the music mogul is set to remain behind bars after the judge overseeing the case denied him bail.
The highly anticipated trial of hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs has reached an end. The jury found Sean Combs not guilty of racketeering conspiracy, the most serious charge. The jury found Combs guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution (in connection with his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura) and guilty of transportation to engage in prostitution (in connection with his ex-girlfriend who testified under the pseudonym "Jane"). He was found not guilty of both charges of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion in connection with Ventura and "Jane." U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian told defense attorneys that Sean Combs' continued detention is in part because of the argument used by his lawyers to secure a partial acquittal -- that Combs engaged in domestic violence but not sex trafficking. Sexual assault survivors are often allowed to proceed anonymously during court trials for several reasons, primarily aimed at protecting their privacy, safety, and well-being:Reducing Trauma: Testifying about sexual assault can be an incredibly traumatic experience for survivors. Allowing them to proceed anonymously can help reduce the additional stress and trauma associated with public exposure and scrutiny.Protecting Privacy: Anonymity shields survivors from unwanted public attention and intrusion into their personal lives. It allows them to maintain a level of privacy and control over their own narrative.Encouraging Reporting: Fear of public exposure can deter survivors from reporting sexual assault or seeking justice. Anonymity can help encourage survivors to come forward and participate in legal proceedings without the fear of being publicly identified and stigmatized.Ensuring Safety: In some cases, survivors may fear retaliation or harassment from the accused or their supporters. Anonymity can provide an added layer of protection and help ensure the safety of the survivor and their loved ones. However, there are also potential problems that may arise from allowing an accuser to remain anonymous:Fairness to the Accused: Anonymity for the accuser can raise concerns about fairness in the legal process. It may limit the accused's ability to fully defend themselves if they cannot know the identity of their accuser or access potentially relevant information about them.Presumption of Innocence: Anonymity may undermine the principle of "innocent until proven guilty" by creating an imbalance in the perception of the case. The accused may face increased scrutiny and presumption of guilt, especially in the absence of transparency regarding the accuser's identity.Potential for False Accusations: Without the accuser's identity being disclosed, there may be concerns about false accusations going unchallenged. Anonymity could make it more difficult for the accused to present evidence or witnesses that could refute the allegations.Impact on Public Confidence: Anonymity can sometimes lead to skepticism or distrust in the legal process, as it may be perceived as favoring one party over the other. This could affect public confidence in the fairness and integrity of the judicial system. In this episode we get a look at the Judge's order denying the request to proceed anonymously for the duration of the proceedings.(commercial at 11:57)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:gov.uscourts.nysd.611545.49.0.pdf (courtlistener.com)Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

Her analysis is not just professional—it's deeply personal, fueled by a passion for justice and firsthand knowledge of a broken system.Having practiced family law for years, Christine reveals what drew her into the courtroom—and what eventually pushed her out. She shares unfiltered truths about how the system is failing the very people it claims to protect, particularly children, who often become collateral damage in custody battles riddled with bias, lack of oversight, and limited accountability. What You'll Hear in This Episode:Why due process is almost non-existent in family court—and how judges often take the bench without reading motions or evidenceHow false allegations can lead to devastating outcomes with little recourse or protectionWhy perjury is rarely prosecuted, unlike in criminal court, leaving parents vulnerable to manipulationThe financial exploitation of families through prolonged litigation, draining them emotionally and financiallyThe urgent need for judicial accountability, and why Christine believes judges should be held to higher standardsDr. Hensley's powerful proposal: Should family court rulings be decided by a jury of 12 peers, just like in criminal court?Christine also introduces her trailblazing platform, Judge-Y—a public review system and upcoming app that provides families with access to verified information and firsthand experiences with local judges and attorneys. Judge-Y is built to empower families with knowledge and help prevent the kind of injustice that is currently far too common. As the episode concludes, Christine reminds us that a significant portion of the population will encounter the family court system, often walking away with little more than trauma, financial devastation, and fractured families. She lays out bold ideas for reform—because without systemic change, we are perpetuating a cycle of harm that echoes for generations. To connect with Christine Miller:
