The Fan Weekends

   Kicking off hour #2 of the Dan Jacobs show, Dan and Sean measure their expectations for the Avs and Nuggets as compared to their recent championship runs.      During the 2nd segment of the show, Chad Andrus joins Dan.      On the first hour of the Dan Jacobs show, Dan reacts to the Nuggets getting the job done vs. Minnesota. Dan asks if the team looks rusty out the gates?     James Merilatt joins the show to discuss the skepticism surrounding the Nuggets Coach Adleman. Has he graduated from a JV coach to being the right man for the Job to lead this team to a championship.     Dan and James breakdown the Avs chances of reaching another Stanely Cup and more. 

Opening the final hour, Kyle and Marcello discuss the Rockies 2026 start. The guys also tour around the first round of the NBA playoffs.  During the hour #3 the Scrappy Will Peterson chimes to preview the Avs game 1 vs. the LA Kings.  Closing out the program, Kyle and Cello discuss the WNBA new Collective Bargaining Agreement.      For the 1st hour, Kyle and Marcello recap the Nuggets game 1 win over the Timberwolves. The guys discuss the broadcasting issues for fans looking to watch the playoffs.      Kyle and Cello react to Bo Nix attending The Masters, and the panel discussed the golfing event being a tad pricey.  

     As we cruise through hour 3 of the Honorable Dan Jacobs show, the panel conducts a Nuggets check-in. Dan and Sean differ in opinion if the Gold Rush is underway in Mile High City. Tune in to see who you agree with.

     In the first segment of hour 2, Dan reacts to The Drive’s Interview with John Kryzinski of the Athletic. John gives his preview of the matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves.  There’s a difference of opinion in how this series turns out. During hour #2 of the Honorable Dan Jacobs show, the conversation continues for the Colorado Rockies. Are they for real?  Dan answers if the Penner Group will mesh with Monfort’s business practices. In the 2nd segment of the program, Scrappy Will Peterson joins to talk about the Denver Nuggets prospects heading into the NBA playoffs. Dan asks Will if he believes coach Adleman is the man for the job. If the Denver Nuggets fall short this year, is it time to move a star on the team? Dan and Will pivot talks, and dive into the Colorado Avalanche playoff push. The guys react to Colorado locals having difficulty watching Avs games on television.

On the Dan Jacobs show, in the 1st hour Dan and Sean recap the trip to Vegas. Denver Pioneers are champs again. Despite the deficiencies in the game, The Pios still got the job done. Sean asks Dan how NIL works for National Champions at DU. To round out hour #1, Dan dives into the Front office discussions surrounding the Rockies. The Avs have clinched the Presidents' Trophy and will have home ice throughout the playoffs. A look at The Masters leaderboard heading into the final round. On the Sunday Stroll, the guys get into the Nuggets and where the currently stack up among the top teams in the Western Conference and dive into the dirty play of Lu Dort. 

In Hour 2, Kyle and Cello get into the latest with the Broncos and the NFL Draft. Now that the Broncos are without a first and third round pick, what position should they prioritize in the second round? Will Evan Engram be more involved in the offense this year with Davis Webb as the OC? 3 questions with Alex Becker: Should CU and CSU play or practice against each other in the spring? Where does The Masters rank among best sporting events? And do the Broncos need to take a running back in the second round? 

In Hour 3, the guys discuss tanking in the NBA and the issue it has become this year. Does the NBA draft lottery actually work? A look at the NBA playoff scenarios as the last day of the regular season is today and most playoff matchups are already set. On the wake up and reset segment, The Masters tournament is discussed, as well as the Penner Sports Group acquiring a 40% minority stake in the Colorado Rockies. Kyle Reese and Marcello Romano are in on Easter Sunday. The guys discuss what is new in their lives and get Alex Becker's recap of his trip to Miami. The Nuggets and Spurs played in a classic yesterday as Jokic and Wemby went head-to-head. Did yesterday's game change the NBA MVP race? The Avs shut out the Stars yesterday, 2-0, and appear to be in the driver's seat for the Presidents' Trophy. A look at the NCAA Tournament on both the men's and women's side, as the National Championship is today for the women and tomorrow for the men. 

In Hour 2, the guys get into the latest buzz with the Broncos as the NFL had their owners meeting this week in Phoenix. What did Sean Payton say this week about free agency and the trade for Jaylen Waddle? A look at the text line. Do the Avs need to win the Presidents' Trophy? Also, a couple injuries to Lakers key players have shaken up NBA's Western Conference playoff race.
