The Fan Weekends

In the first hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan praises himself for being mature and modest.  We then welcome in the “Lovely and Talented” James Merilatt to discuss his outlandish takes on The Broncos, Nuggets, and CU Buffs. 

For the second hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan gets into the story of a fake German heiress.  Dan then addresses some of James Merilatt’s comments on Sean Payton’s ego and defends some of The Broncos’ decision making. 

In the third and final hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan reads some of the best texts of the day and tells a story about getting a passport for his kid.  We then re-visit our interview with James Merilatt for those who missed it.

In the first hour of Kyle and Cello we find out that neither Kyle or Cello is in the studio today.  So Chad Andrus and Mike Rice break down the NCAA tournament, The Broncos trade for Jaylen Waddle, and the return of Payton Watson.  

For the second hour of Kyle and Cello Chad Andrus and Mike Rice get into the fit of Jaylen Waddle with The Broncos, potential moves The Broncos can still make and The Rockies opening day.  

In the third and final hour of the day on Kyle and Cello, Chad Andrus and Mike Rice predict the Nuggets playoff run.  Chad Andrus asks what everyone’s confidence level is with The Avs and gets some spicy responses. 

In the first segment of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan celebrates the Jaylen Wadlle trade and forecasts how he thinks The Broncos Offense will work.  We then welcome in Chad Andrus to break down the trade and get into the Nuggets and Avs playoff pushes.  

For the second hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan has some fun with the reactions of the morning show to the Jaylen Wadlle trade and tries to make sense of Ryan Staub’s comments on his coaching staff now vs at CU.  Dan tells some Joe Williams stories and reads some of the best texts from the Ramoslaw.com text line to close out the hour. 

In the third and final hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan finally talks about food and compares the WR duo of Courtland Sutton and Jaylen Wadlle to DT and Emanuel Sanders.  We then re-visit our interview with Chad Andrus from earlier in the show for those who missed it.  And Dan closes out the show by predicting the downfall of college sports and shorting the market.

In the 2nd hour, Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan’s Richie Carni joins the show. The gentlemen discussed the bottom line with The Denver Broncos increasing ticket prices. Richie and Dan bounce around theories of Coach Sean Payton relinquish the playcalling duties for a better chance to win a Super Bowl ring.  

In the 1st hour of the Honorable Dan Jacobs show, the panel opens with the Denver Nuggets tough loss in LA.  Dan believes the Denver Sports 104.3 hosts need to pump the brakes on giving Jamal Murray a pass in the insane OT ending versus the Lakers.   During hour 1, Senior Sportswriter Andrew Mason comes to discuss the new dynamic pricing of season tickets to Rockies games.  The question comes about, should the other major sports teams adopt the same module? Wrapping up the hour Dan and Sean dive into the text line reactions.

Kyle Reese and Chad Andrus are in. They start the first hour by diving into the frustrating Nuggets. How did they lose that game last night to the Lakers? Has Cam Johnson started to improve his play the last few games? An update with the Avalanche. How has Nazem Kadri been fitting in so far and are they the team to beat? Plus, what's up with the Broncos inactivity in free agency? How close were the Broncos to signing Travis Etienne Jr. or Kenneth Walker III?

In Hour 2, Kyle says he is jealous of the Seahawks. A look at some of the other NFL free agency moves. Why haven't the Broncos signed ANY outside free agents? And should we feel sorry for the Raiders with what happened with the Maxx Crosby trade? A look at the text line and 3 questions with Alex Becker: Should Miami (OH) be a tournament team? In the first hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan tells us about the DeLorean being out of the shop and tries to make sense of The Broncos free agency moves so far.  We then welcome in the "lovely and talented" James Merilatt who claims that Sean Payton is subconsciously sabotaging The Broncos and calls for The Nuggets to trade Jokic if they don't make it to the Western Conference Finals.

For the second hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan talks about The Nuggets last couple games and how he thinks they'll fare in the playoffs.  We then welcome to the program Chad Andrus to get into The Broncos Offseason and The Nuggs chances. 

In the third and final hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan has an argument with the producer about championship windows and says that Nazem Kadri is better than Nathan Mackinnon.  We then re-visit our interview with James Merilatt from earlier in the show for those who missed it.  And Dan closes out the show with some Broncos free agency talk.    

In the final hour, Sean Boyd plays out his football career story.  He shares his journey with Dan and the listeners. In the first hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Its Dan’s Birthday week. The family had a worthwhile party that guests couldn’t deny.  Dan and Sean talked about eating at Sean’s grapes. During hour #1 Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan’s James Merilatt joins the show.  Dan and James discussed the mega trade news for the Colorado Avalanche. Rounding out the hour the guys dive deep into Denver Sports and discuss the current form of the Denver Nuggets. On the way out the door, James leaves Dan with a blistering take. 

Kyle Reese and Marcello Romano are in on a Sunday morning. The Nuggets are not looking like a championship caliber squad right now. What is going wrong and can the team right the ship? Meanwhile, the Avs are going all in as they acquired Nazem Kadri at the tail end of the trade deadline. Is it Stanley Cup or bust with the Avs? On the Sunday Stroll, the World Baseball Classic is underway and Shohei Ohtani is up to his old tricks, hitting homers and dominating. Plus, Kyle and Cello throw out the question: What is the hardest championship to win in sports? 

In Hour 2, the guys take a look at NFL Free Agency. Who is on the Broncos free agent wishlist? Which position groups do the Broncos need to address first? Also, who is the best athlete of all-time? Was Michael Jordan or LeBron James a better athlete? 3 questions with Alex Becker: Are the Broncos or Chiefs a more desirable destination for free agents? Will the Rockies have any players inside the Top-100 in 2-3 years? Does the NHL need to revert back to the 1-through-8 playoff seeding? 

In Hour 3, Kyle, Cello and Alex get into the latest NFL news and notes from the past week. Geno Smith, Tua Tagovailoa and Kyler Murray will all have a new team to play for this upcoming season. There were some big trades this week as Maxx Crosby goes to the Ravens, DJ Moore goes to the Bills and David Montgomery goes to the Texans. On the Wake Up and Reset segment, the Nuggets, Avs and World Baseball Classic/Shohei Ohtani are discussed. Dan Jacobs comes in for the final segment to stir it up with music tastes and Nazem Kadri. 

In the first hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan takes a small victory lap (that lasts the whole show) about the return of Nazem Kadri to the Avalanche.  We then welcome in "scrappy" Will Peterson to discuss the return of Nazem Kadri and how happy Dan is.  

For the second hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan makes the case for himself to get a ring if the Avalanche win the cup.  We then welcome in Adrian Dater of Dater On Avalanche to get into the topic everyone has been waiting for, Nazem Kadri.

In the third and final hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan reads the text line's reactions to the Nazem Kadri trade and basks in being right.  We then re-visit our interview with Will Peterson for those who missed it.  And Dan closes out the show by finally talking about barbeque.

In the final hour of the show, Dan and Sean discuss the Broncos offense. Is the offense behind the 8 ball, lacking playmakers? The guys debate if any young players will breakthrough and thrive under Coach  Davis Webb’s playcalling. Next in the final hour we revisit the Richie Carni conversation recaping his thoughts and opinion on Denver Sports. 

In the second hour of the Dan Jabobs show, Dan asks the question of “why is everyone pushing Sean Payton out the door?” Digital Content Manager for Denver Sports 104.3 The Fan delivers his opinion to shed light on Dan’s question. Kyle Reese and Marcello Romano are back at it on a Sunday morning. Kyle, Cello and Alex Becker start the show off by discussing Lu Dort's cheapshot on Nikola Jokic. Who are the dirtiest players in sports? The Nuggets discussion continues by discussing the team's struggles in clutch time situations and Cam Johnson not producing at the rate we thought he would. The NFL Combine is in full swing. Kenyon Sadiq ran a 4.40 40-yard dash and likely will be gone before the Broncos pick. Who are the most desirable NFL free agents the Broncos could acquire? 

In Hour 2, the guys discuss Sean Payton giving up play-calling to Davis Webb. Was this the right move and do you trust Payton to stay out of Webb's way and let him be the OC? An early look at 2026 NFL contenders and a potential Super Bowl matchup. Who are some of the biggest dawgs in the NFL? 3 questions with Alex Becker: Has the 65-game rule ruined the MVP race? Robert Livingston leaves the Buffs for the Broncos and would you rather have Javonte Williams or RJ Harvey? 

In Hour 3, more on the dirtiest players of all-time conversation. And are the Nuggets better equipped for a deep playoff run this year than they were last season at this time? Calvin Booth did an interview with Yahoo Sports' Kevin O'Connor this week. The guys react to Booth's statements and discuss if his comments were out of line. Finally, a music discussion in the final segment. Kyle, Cello and Dan Jacobs go over what's on their music playlist. 

In the first hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan talks about the Nuggets heartbreaking loss to OKC the previous night and whether he has more faith in the Avs or The Nuggets.  We then welcome in the "Lovely and Talented James Merilatt to discuss The Nugs, Avs, and Sea Payton giving up play calling.  

For the second hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan tells the story of being sworn in as an Officer of The Supreme Court.  Dan then breaks down the Sean Payton decision to give up play-calling and compares him to Mike Shannahan.   To finish up the hour Dan asks if the Broncos just need more playmakers, or if The Offensive line needs work.  

In the third and final hour of The Dan Jacobs Show, Dan reacts to Dein Sanders bringing in a bunch of new coaches and how he thinks the season will go for the Buffs. On the Sunday Stroll, Kyle, Justin and Alex Becker discuss what the deal is with potential #1 pick Darryn Peterson. Why is he taking himself out of games so often? The Nuggets are too inconsistent for Kyle's liking. And a peek at the Nuggets upcoming daunting schedule. 

In Hour 2, the guys get into the 32 athletes in the Winter Olympics that hail from Colorado. How impressive is it that we have so much representation in the Olympics from the state of Colorado? Also, what positions do the Broncos have leverage with? Who can they afford to trade in order to upgrade at other positions? What are the biggest positions of need for the Broncos? 3 questions with Alex Becker: Broncos rookie draft class, biggest coaching characters out there and marquee event at the Winter Olympics. 

In Hour 3, the United States beats Canada in the gold-medal hockey game as Jack Hughes scores the GWG in overtime. Kyle, Justin and Alex discuss the significance of the victory. Justin laments that the Avs have to win NOW, as their window could be closing fairly soon. A look at the Broncos roster depth. Are they as deep as it seems? Wake up and reset: No Buffs at the NFL Combine and Kyle has some concerns with the Nuggets play of late. Roll call on the text line to finish the show and most talented musical artists in history.

In Hour 3, Kyle and Cello discuss Joe Judge's fatherhood comments during his testimony in the Trinidad Chambliss case. The guys also get into the Sean Payton-Davis Webb play-calling debate. Should Payton give up play-calling for the betterment of the team or is he too stubborn to make a change? Will Webb have some input in the play-calling this year, similar to the Andy Reid/Eric Bieniemy dynamic in Kansas City? NBA All-Star Weekend discussion.
