In the AFC Divisional round of the playoffs, the Buffalo Bills are heading to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of the 2020 AFC Championship game. On the latest episode of the Billieve Podcast, hosts John Boccacino and Jamie D'Amico have everything you need to know as the Bills look to continue their 2021 revenge tour and earn their second win over the Chiefs this season. Among the topics discussed: We start off be reliving the gory that was Buffalo's 47-17 dismantling of the New England Patriots in the Wild Card round. Quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills offense was perfect in knocking off New England, and it was thoroughly enjoyable to see Bill Belichick miserable while watching the Bills pound his Patriots. Turning our attention to Sunday night's playoff game, this matchup, a rematch of last year's AFC title game, seemed destined to happen. The Bills should feel confident with their offense clicking on all cylinders and the defense making life miserable for opposing quarterbacks. But this will be the stiffest test Buffalo's D has faced since Tre'Davious White was lost for the year. Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and co. represent a formidable challenge to Leslie Frazier's defense. These teams met up on Sunday Night Football in Week 5, with Buffalo prevailing 38-20. Kansas City's defense has improved dramatically since then, and pass rushers Chris Jones, Melvin Ingram, and Frank Clark will challenge Buffalo's resurgent offensive line. Buffalo's running game has found its groove, led by Devin Singletary. An x-factor for the Bills: how well the team has run the ball when fullback Reggie Gilliam is on the field. Buffalo has changed up its run scheme from zone blocking to a pin and pull system, relying on the athleticism of the offensive line, and that is one of the key reasons why the Bills offense has become more balanced. Unlike last year, when the moment seemed too big for him, Josh Allen needs to stay in control of himself and his emotions and not force throws when nothing is there. How will Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis, Emmanuel Sanders and Buffalo's wideouts handle the sticky press coverage of Kansas City's corners? Jamie and I argue over whether Buffalo's defensive line has improved since these two teams met. In that meeting, Buffalo got after Mahomes without bringing a single blitz. Last week, NBC announced that Michele Tafoya will work her final Sunday Night Football game at Super Bowl LVI on February 13th. With a record four Sports Emmys for Outstanding Sports Personality – Sports Reporter and the only person to be a finalist every year since the award's inception in 2011, Tafoya will have done 327 games as an NFL sideline reporter, the most national primetime TV games (regular and postseason) for someone in that role. As the one doing the interviews, Tafoya isn't used to being the interviewee as she was on an NBC Sports conference call. Executive producer Fred Gaudelli explains why he thinks she's the best sideline reporter the NFL has had. Tafoya talks about her connection to Minnesota, some of her favorite moments, her stint on “The View,” and the importance of working a Super Bowl less than 10 miles from where she was raised by her mom, who asks her daughter when she plans to visit.
Lindsay wraps up the NFL regular season by talking to former NFL QB Sage Rosenfels on Black Monday. They discuss the big changes being made in Minnesota, Chicago and Miami. Then they get into the wild Sunday Night Football game between the Chargers and Raiders. Did Brandon Staley screw up by calling a time out in OT? They also talk about how great it is to see promising young QBs like Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow thrive so quickly.
In the latest edition of the Good Morning Football Podcast, hosts Kay Adams, Kyle Brandt, Peter Schrager, and Super Bowl Champion Michael Robinson honor and remember the life and legend of John Madden. While there are plenty of emotions, it's also a celebration of his lifelong impact on the NFL. Commissioner Roger Goodell joins the show to reflect on recent conversations he had with Madden as well as time spent on the Madden cruiser over the years. Kyle fondly remembers the Madden commercials and why as a child, he believed that he should want to have athlete's foot. Melissa Stark shares her memories of working with Madden on Monday Night Football and Andrea Kremer tells the crew about launching Sunday Night Football with Madden and the meaningful calls and advice Coach gave to Andrea before calling her first game. The Packers win another squeaker but now have the 30th weakest strength of schedule meaning they have to win out to get the 1st seed in the NFC with the Cowboys trailing them... can they get a much needed 1st round playoff bye? Eric thinks Dan Campbell and the Lions have found their identity and provided the blueprint for the future of the team, and they can turn around quick with the assets they have. The Rams may have given the Vikings a Nordic funeral kicking their iceberg out to the ocean, and the Bears pull off a surprise upset against a Seahawks team at the end of an era. The NFC Northers discuss their top three favorite video game series before they break down the week 17 games including Vikings vs Packers on Sunday Night Football. Rest In Peace to John Madden, an influence to us all and the voice of football for a generation. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/nfcnorthpodcast/support

In this episode of the UKRavens Podcast, Gaz, Ian & Shane review the ugly win against the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday Night Football. Lamar Jackson manages to throw 4 interceptions and somehow, the Baltimore Ravens end up on top at the end of the game, thanks to a stunning performance from the Defense. The guys talk about the key players on the defence, such as Patrick Queen (YAAAAASSS QUEEN) who's flipped the script on his season after moving from Middle Linebacker to Will Linebacker, Tyus Bowser and UKRavens podcast favourite, Odafe Oweh (MAN!). Oh, and thank the lord for Justin Tucker. Sadly, James and Ben could not join this week's podcast as they travel home from the game, but Gaz, Ian & Shane are joined by Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Simon from the UK Steelers Podcast, @uksteelerspod to preview the upcoming Sunday afternoon national game, away at Heinz Field. Simon also discusses Big Ben and what the future holds for the Pittsburgh Franchise before giving his prediction on the game. The pod ends, as usual, with the guys giving their predictions on the game and a few announcements in regards to the upcoming London meet-up and a potential Manchester meet-up. Created and hosted by members of the UKRavens; Gaz Poole, Ben Mortimer, Ian Demain, Shane Richmond & James 'Jonathan' Ogden. In this episode of the UKRavens Podcast, Gaz, Ian & Shane review the ugly win against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday. In lieu of Lamar Jackson, Tyler Huntley steps in and drags the Ravens to a win on the road in Chicago and the guys discuss how they managed it as well as the good and bad takeaways from the game. 2 Surprise guests join the show in the form of James Ogden and Ben Mortimer. James joins from his New York Penthouse apartment, overlooking Midtown to discuss his tour of the states, including being in Soldier Field for the game on Sunday. Ben then joins from his pay by the hour motel in Florida to compare window views with James - Awesome for an audio podcast, I know. Both guys do discuss the various College & NFL football games they are lucky enough to be attending this week. Gaz, Ben & Shane are then joined by scheduled guest @believelandbrit to preview the upcoming divisional game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday Night Football. He gives his insight on the Browns, the rivalry and whether Baker Mayfield is broken before giving his predictions for the game. The guys then add their predictions before a quick Thanksgiving message. Stick around to the end for a special Easter Egg. I realise that adding this into the script here is sort of also an Easter Egg - because who actually reads these? I bet my co-hosts don't even read these and I really try hard with them. Honestly, they're probably better and more thought-provoking than anything James writes on his little blog. They should be featured in Shane's Pigskin books, although I guess I'd have to make a book first. That's problematic. Regardless, if you've read this far, please tweet me @gazpoole with the phrase “Gaz is a better writer than James” and I'll buy you a beer.
