Whether they realize it or not, most people carry troubling memories, relationship impediments, unexplained behaviours or unhelpful feelings that came about because of past traumas. In this message we will look at some of the remarkable circuits that God built into our brains, and examine why memory fragments associated with danger or deep emotions remain “stuck” and continue to influence who we are. A number of strategies are available to help process these negative effects of trauma. Bible references (such as Isaiah 53:1-3) and a short two-part skit are used to illustrate how Jesus can remove the sting and power of those memories and bring healing and peace. The video concludes with a series of steps that a person can follow to experience a measure of healing from Jesus; ongoing work may be required.Click here to view/download a PDF with all of the slides:https://drive.google.com/file/d/15JgbRVzf8_8Ht_Pf232znvtU-qLuTF2m/view?usp=drivesdk
