Part 1
THE REVELATION OF GOD'S WILL (Genesis 45:9 to 46:7) Does God have a purpose in the events of this world? Does God have a purpose for your life? If the answer to those two questions is “Yes”, and it is, then the better question is do you know the purpose of God for your life? If not, how do you go about discerning the purpose, or the will, of God in your life? This is what our lesson is about today. I want to speak to you about The Revelation of God's Will. Your great desire ought to be to know His will. Your great delight will be to do His will. Your great danger is to refuse His will. Nothing is right for you, if it is not God's will. It may sound simplistic, but the will of God for you is Jesus, just Jesus. Jesus is the head of the church, and the church is the body. What is the will of my body? My head. What is the will of the church of the body of believers? Jesus, the head of the church. The will of God for your life is Jesus. He is your Lord. Know Him, know the will of God. Here are three principles about the will of God. First, The will of God is for your welfare. It is not something you have to do; it is something you get to do. Second, The will of God will never take you where the power of God and the grace of God cannot enable and keep you. Third, You are free to choose. God will never force His will upon you. You are free to choose His will. You are not free not to choose. When you say, “Well, I just won't choose.” You just made a choice. You are free to choose, you are not free not to choose—and pay attention, you are not free to choose the consequences of your choice. You make a choice to follow God's will or not, and that choice chooses the consequences for you. So, what should we do to know the will of God? Ask the same questions that Jacob did. Lord, who are you? Do you know that Jesus is the Son of God? Do you know Him as your personal Lord and Saviour? Do you have an intimate relationship with Him? Is your mind conformed to the mind of Christ? Lord, what do you want me to do? Are you willing to do whatever God will enable you to do? Are you surrendered to God? Click on the play button to hear a message on how to know the will of God for your life. This is a live recording of The Master's Class Bible Study at LifeChange Church Wichita, KS. Amen.

TAKE YOUR REVELATION OF GOD, THE FATHER OUT OF THE BOX Understanding the Trinity, a divine mystery, requires a revelation that only the Holy Spirit can bestow. In our quest to comprehend this profound truth, we are often confronted with the diverse opinions of gospel teachers. How can our natural reasoning, shaped by our western minds, grasp the concept of three in one and one in three? In the 17th chapter of the Gospel of John, Jesus prayed: “so that they all may be one just as you father are in me and I and you that they also may be one in us so that the world may be leave and be convinced that you have sent me.” This prayer is a profound revelation of the unity within the Trinity. Indeed, this is one of the most potent verses in the Scriptures, a testament to the power and unity of the Trinity. Yet, we often find ourselves walking in a lack of understanding, unaware of the immense power and unity that is available to us. Consider this: just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one, a unique blend of unity and diversity, so too can we, in our spiritual journey and love for the Father, become one with them. This unity is not just a concept, but a reality we can experience. Then Jesus goes on to pray that we would be one with the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. This unity creates a divine community, a 'four in one' relationship, which is truly amazing. You and I because of redemption have been taken back into the heart of the father, and we are one with the father son of a Holy Spirit. Wow.! Today's sermon comes from Luke 7:36-50. Luke compares what is in the heart of a sinful woman that has been forgiven, to a man who doesn't think he needs forgiveness. The compare and contrast reveals the heart of thankfulness that God desires to cultivate within all of us.

Fr. Robert Nixon emphasizes the sanctity of the present moment as a revelation of God's will. He encourages embracing the present as a source of divine grace, comparing it to a sacrament that guides us toward holiness. Nixon highlights the importance of living in perpetual abandonment to God's will, suggesting that true sanctity is found not in extraordinary acts but in faithfully accepting and responding to the divine will manifest in everyday life. He concludes by underscoring that recognizing and revering God's presence in every moment is key to spiritual growth.Episode 8 covers Book 1, Chapter 2, Sections 9 and 10. In the Old Testament, God spoke to Adam, Noah, Moses and many others. He did this in many ways—such as parables, prophecy, dreams, visions and angelic visitations. Yet these revelations were never complete. But we no longer need to seek visions or go to prophets to know God. Why? Because as the book of Hebrews tells us, that was how God spoke long ago to our ancestors. The good news is that today He has spoken to us by His own Son, Jesus Christ, “the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature”—the very one who “upholds all things by the word of His power,” as Rodgers Atwebembeire explains.

Scripture teaches that New Testament children of God are “a people for His name” (Acts 15:14). If so, we need to understand how His name has been progressively revealed over thousands of years. Almost 7,000 times in the original Hebrew of the Old Testament, the name YHWH is assigned to God. Why is it usually translated into the simple title “LORD”? Epiphany is the moment of revelation when something becomes seen or unveiled. Similar to a light bulb moment, it's not about comprehending everything entirely but understanding something in a way that transforms your perception of everything else. The profound impact of encountering Jesus is emphasized, as he is described as the light of the world who entered darkness, making previously unseen aspects visible. Delving into the Gospel expands our worldview, revealing a more complex and challenging world ripe for redemption. His presence opens us to a new perspective on everything around us. What if we approached God's presence as if we were in the company of someone adept at navigating the chaos of a broken world with faithfulness and hope, and our responsibility was to stay close to that guiding presence?
A Story all about God's Love.
As we celebrate the Christmas season, we encourage you to contemplate the meaning and the magnitude of the Incarnation—the climax of divine revelation: God with us! The very thought that the one who spoke and galaxies leapt into existence should cloak Himself in human flesh is unthinkable. To imagine that the one who knit me together in my mother's womb would Himself inhabit Mary's womb boggles the mind. Yet this is precisely what Christianity proclaims—a Creator beyond comprehension who has revealed Himself in Incarnation. In taking on human flesh, God gives us more than the clearest image of who He is. He gives us Himself.
