1 Corinthians 2:1-5 New International Version 2 And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. 2 For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. 4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power.
On this episode of Uncommon Sense with Ginny Robinson, I explain why I've shifted to a neutral stance on the Israel-Iran conflict. While mainstream media pressures us to “pick a side,” Scripture tells a deeper story, one that's not bound by modern borders or politics.Christians are the true Israel, not by race or nation, but by faith in Christ. The Church is the chosen people of God, not a geopolitical state. So why are we being told that standing with the a government equals standing with God?We'll unpack the phrase “Judeo-Christian”—what it really means (and what it doesn't)—and discuss how religiously manipulative narratives can cloud our judgment. Supporting everything any group does (whether Jewish, Christian, or Muslim) is not biblical discernment. It's idolatry.None of us are perfect. Not every Christian represents Christ well, and not every Jew or Muslim represents their faith's ideals either. So let's step back, seek the truth, and refuse to be emotionally blackmailed into blind allegiance.--https://policecoffee.com/collections/coffee

In this bold and deeply needed conversation, Dr. Zach Clinton and co-host Joshua Broome sit down with Pastor Joby Martin—founding pastor of The Church of Eleven22 and author of the new book Stand Firm and Act Like Men. Together, they unpack the urgent difference between cultural masculinity and biblical manhood, calling men to reject passivity, embrace godly responsibility, and lead with courage, humility, and purpose. The conversation explores why suffering in silence is not strength, how community sharpens character, and what it means to leave a legacy that actually matters. Whether you're navigating manhood, mentoring others, or longing to be a man after God’s own heart—this episode is for you.

6.15.25 Father's Stand Firm in a Shifting Culture by Midway Baptist Church
This sermon emphasizes the importance of living a godly life by following strong spiritual examples, especially in a culture that often pushes against biblical values. It challenges believers to stand firm in their faith, grow through trials, and stay anchored in God's unchanging Word. Ultimately, it calls the church to be equipped by Scripture, live with conviction, and press forward—against the wind.

It's a bold challenge to reject passivity, embrace vulnerability, and live out true godly masculinity.

Today, we're taking a look at the unraveling mayhem situation in California, where Governor Gavin Newsom's failure to lead has allowed chaos to run absolutely wild. Violent riots involving illegal immigrants (most of whom are military-aged men) are breaking out across the state. These individuals are not assimilating, they are disrupting, demanding, and waving foreign flags while burning ours on American soil. As California spirals, it's no surprise that federal intervention has become necessary. President Trump has stepped in where state "leadership" would not. This really isn't about politics, it's about preserving order, protecting citizens, and upholding the rule of law. We are a people who serve a God of justice, not disorder. What's happening is not compassionate, it's destabilizing. California deserves better, and America must wake up before this becomes the norm nationwide. God forbid. Let's talk about what's really going on in California and why prayer, truth, and resolve are crucial right now.--https://www.thebrandsunday.com/products/the-bible-study-physical?srsltid=AfmBOoqJuDPZk6H7VWSxgepSo3RWAJCtIGO9wrHmULH1iMgxSzkJ791_--Order CULTure: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/SLYWFXAB6479S

2025-06-01 Stand Firm By Rejoicingby Pastor Chris BergScripture Reference: Philippians 4: 4-74 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
In a world that equates disagreement with hate and silence with complicity, how can we help our daughters respond with both courage and compassion? During Pride Month, our girls are bombarded with bold, affirming messages about identity, love, and truth—many of which conflict with a Biblical Worldview. In this important episode of the Raising Godly Girls Podcast, co-hosts Rachael and Melissa guide moms through a Gospel-centered approach to helping girls navigate the cultural noise and stand firm in truth, without compromising love. The conversation explores how Jesus modeled both radical love and unshakable truth. He didn't ignore sin, but neither did He alienate sinners—He welcomed, embraced, and transformed. That's the same kind of posture we want to equip our girls with: one that listens before speaking, responds with grace, and stands firm in God's Word. You'll hear practical guidance for how to initiate meaningful conversations, ask thoughtful questions, and lay a foundation for Biblical identity and understanding in girls of all ages. Featuring a heartfelt Raising Godly Girls Minute from AHG Founder & Executive Director Emeritus Patti Garibay, this episode offers wisdom for those gut-punch parenting moments—like when a daughter expresses confusion about her sexuality or hears something challenging at school. Rather than reacting with fear, we're called to respond with faith, wrapped in compassion and anchored in truth. Whether your daughter is watching YouTube shorts filled with Pride content, engaging in classroom discussions, or hearing cultural messages about “loving without limits,” this episode will equip you to walk with her in both tenderness and truth. Learn how to teach your girl that kindness is not the same as agreement, that truth is rooted in Scripture—not feelings—and that she doesn't have to have all the answers to be a faithful witness. Raising Godly girls isn't about winning culture wars. It's about preparing hearts to follow Jesus with clarity, courage, and compassion. And as Rachael and Melissa remind us—these conversations aren't one-and-done, but ongoing opportunities to disciple our daughters with grace and wisdom. The Scripture is clear that we must stand firm, and put on the full armor of God, so that we may resist and defeat the spiritual enemy opposed to us. But before we look at what we must do, we must start with what God has done for us. Because the true secret to our success is not what we do, but what God has done for us.

“Stand Firm” Philippians 3:17-4:1 June 1, 2025 Pastor Nathan Currey ----more---- Philippians 3:17 Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us. [18] For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ. [19] Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things. [20] But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, [21] who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. [4:1] Therefore, my brothers, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm thus in the Lord, my beloved. Grow your true gospel identity by following faithful examples and staying in loving community. • Examples that Guide Us • Our True Identity Defines Us • Loving Community is Critical

The reality of life is that we are presently, actively, caught up in a spiritual battle at all times. God is working for good, for life. The devil is working to steal, kill, and destroy. But the good news is that the One who is for us is greater than the one who is against us. So, let's stand firm and push back darkness!

Pastor John David and the New Creation ABQ community discern I Corinthians 15:58.
Given the current cultural climate on the subject, some might think it pretty controversial to suggest that we ‘act like men'. After all, if you were to listen to the critics, “Could there be anything good that would come from it?” I can understand the sentiment. But not the reaction. I think it was John Stonestreet who I heard say recently, “The response to bad authority is not, ‘no authority', it's good authority.” The context had to do with governmental authority, but it seems like it would apply nicely here as well. While we may have steered away from the path of guiding boys into becoming men, it is all the more important that we return to the path rather than abandon the pursuit of manhood altogether. To put it another way, we should seek ‘true manhood' rather than ‘no manhood.' Read the transcript for Stand Firm in the Faith Sign up for the Wisdom In All Things newsletter

2025-05-18 Stand Firm By Agreementby Pastor Chris BergScripture Reference: Philippians 4:1-31 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.3 Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.
This week, Pastor Jimmy challenges us to stand firm and see God's salvation in the face of impossible situations, reminding us that the problem isn't God's power — it's our perspective. When fear clouds our vision, faith invites us to trust that God is working, even when the way forward seems impossible.
Pastor Jim unpacks the story of Naboth and King Ahab in 1 Kings 21–22, highlighting the spiritual battle between righteousness and corruption. Naboth stands firm on God's promises, refusing to trade away his inheritance—even at the cost of his life. Ahab's abuse of power and Jezebel's manipulation lead to judgment, but not before exposing how the schemes of the enemy mirror our own modern temptations. Jim points us to Jesus, the better Naboth, who stood firm in obedience, was falsely accused, and secured victory through the cross and resurrection.

In a world full of discouragement and spiritual fatigue, this is your reminder: you can stand firm because Christ has already won. 1 Corinthians 15 tells us that death has lost its sting and victory belongs to Jesus. That victory isn't just theological—it's fuel for your faithfulness. Your labor is not in vain. Your obedience, your sacrifice, your endurance—it all matters, because the outcome is already decided.
For this week's episode of Fearless, I sat down with Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council (FRC), to unpack what it means to live with moral courage in today's culture of confusion and compromise. Tony draws from his decades of experience in public service, ministry, and policy advocacy to talk about how to stand for truth—even when it costs you.Together we explore the alarming lack of moral courage among today's leaders and the pressing need for Christians to fear God more than man. Tony highlights FRC's ongoing efforts to equip pastors and believers through resources like the Stand Firm app and the Center for Biblical Worldview. He also addresses misconceptions about the separation of church and state, outlines the importance of the Free Speech Fairness Act, and assesses the Trump administration's policies supporting religious freedom and life.As we take a deeper look at the spiritual battles often found behind political struggles, we emphasize that true hope lies in a national spiritual awakening, not political reform alone. If you've ever wondered how to speak truth in love, stand firm in a hostile world, or what it really means to be fearless—I hope this conversation will compel you to be the salt and light our world needs in your sphere of influence.
