Muslims deny that God is triunity , yet in the Quran God is referred to with the plural pronoun" we". In Sura 2:23,106, Sura10: 94, and Sura 66:12 where it says that God and the Holy Spirt breathed into Mary. Also in the Quran it says that the Spirit appeared to Mary in the form of a man. Muslims can not explain the plurality of God and also his oneness. But Christian do throughout the Bible because God revealed himself that way.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
One of the most important doctrines of the Christian faith is that of the Trinity. The subject of the Trinity is holy ground because it pertains to the nature of the one true God. So we approach the subject with all humility and reverence. But, if you feel a little baffled by the Trinity, join the crowd. History's greatest minds have stood in amazement before a God so great that our explanations cannot contain Him. However, God desires for us to know Him and He has chosen to reveal Himself, His nature, to us through the Trinity. * * * LET'S BE FRIENDS! The subject for this study is the doctrine of the Trinity, a most important doctrine in the Scripture. Now, let me simply point out that this doctrine is indeed found in the Word of God. We're going to go through some scripture that teaches us without any uncertainty, that the Trinity is a biblically based doctrine. It explains many of the things that we see in the scripture. In this sermon we consider what it means to confess that God is Trinity. Our goal is not to explain the mystery of the Trinity, but rather what this confession means. We look a little bit at the history on why there arose a need to clarify the Triune nature of God, which we read in the Nicene Creed. However, we mostly consider what it means to confess that God is Father, Son, and Spirit; what that means for salvation; and what it has to do with saying God is love.

He has no greater function than the Other Members of the Trinity. He has different functions. God the Father was there in the process of creation (Genesis 1; 1:26). Jesus makes many references to His, or our, Father in Heaven (Matthew 5-7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28; Mark 8, 11, 13, 14; Luke 2, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 22, 23, 24; John 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 20). God speaks from Heaven referring to Jesus as His son in whom He is well pleased (Matthew 3:13-17; Luke 3:21-22).Jesus ChristJesus Christ, the second member of the Trinity, is God's only begotten Son (John 3:16; Colossians 1:15). He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary (Luke 1:30-35; John 1:14). He is fully God (John 1:1-3, 14; Colossians 1:15-16) and fully Man! He lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), which allowed Him to serve as the Only Sacrifice worthy of meeting the Holy Standards of a Just and Righteous God (Hebrews 9:13-26). Jesus willfully died on the Cross as the substitute for those incapable of paying the penalty for their sins (Matthew 27:50; John 19:30; Romans 5:8). He arose bodily from the dead (Matthew 28:2-6; John 20:20). He ascended into heaven (Acts 1:9 ) to return at the God-ordained time. The Holy SpiritThe Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity (Matthew 3:16, 17; 28:19). He is active in the regeneration of the believer (John 14:16, 26; Acts 5:3-4; Titus 3:5) which is also referred to the process of sanctification. He indwells every believer (Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Galatians 5:16, 18; Ephesians 1:13) conforming and transforming them into the image of Christ.

The Gospel of John is often used to support the idea of the deity of Jesus, but the reality is that it teaches very strongly that Jesus is not God. This presentation looks at some of the lesser-known passages in John's Gospel and shows how they make clear statements that Jesus is not God. Instead the Gospel explains how Jesus, although not God, shows us what God is like. Jesus is not God; he is the Son of God. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/christadelphians-talk/message

"Trinititarians are charged with at least two contradictions. First, the Father is God and the Son is God, so it seems to follow that the Father is the Son. Trinitarians affirm the premises but deny the conclusion, which seems contradictory. Second, the Father is a God, the Son is a God, and the Holy Spirit is a God, but the Father is not the Son, the Father is not the Holy Spirit, and the Son is not the Holy Spirit. This argument seems to entail that there are three Gods. Again, Trinitarians affirm the premises but deny the conclusion." Dr. Chris Tweedt helps me think through these two problems for Trinitarians and provides a novel solution to them which is compatible with divine simplicity.
