You heard correctly that Pick Em is all the way back! Also, the Big Ten reinstated football or whatever. Our NFL teams went 3-0 in week one, so of course we had to take some kind of credit. Plus, the Clippers blew a 3-1 lead and the Nuggets are now America’s team.
Nebraska decided to pull a 180 and nearly snow in September, which can only mean one thing. Much like Texas before they start the season 0-2, football is BACK. We discuss some of the most recent contract extensions and NFL news. One team reigns supreme as we select the official team of the podcast (tentatively). Colton manifested a drunk idea into a potential reality in college basketball. Plus, Trevor Bauer is once again on the right side of history.
It's the weirdest offseason and that means it's time for dumb debates. The boys break down the battle of breakfast foods and a difficult conversation about boneless chicken "wings". College football played its first game and it would be fitting if the only game played featured the Governors. Nebraska's parents continue to drag out their complaints and we could not care less what they have to say. Plus, our very early and very uneducated Super Bowl picks.
Despite trying to let the dust settle, the boys are back for a therapy session full of ranting. The college football season is slowly falling through the cracks and people are losing their damn minds. In this time of uncertainty, sports have become a privilege instead of a right. No one is owed anything and uneducated opinions don't matter. Now is a time to unify to work toward a common goal rather than be divided in pettiness. Plus, baseball's unwritten rules are stupid and are for men that can't admit that they're sad.
We break down the adjusted, conference-only schedule for the Big Ten and how it impacts Nebraska. Who is the favorite in the conference? Can Rutgers possibly win a game? Our COVID-19 update includes the first major FBS program to cancel its season. We talk about the impact it could have on high school athletics. Plus, some talk about the bubbles and the MLB dropping the ball so far.
Laney College's own Hall of Fame coach John Beam joins the program as his fame continues to rise on Netflix. As the head football coach and athletic director at Laney, Beam brings a new and refreshing personality to season five of "Last Chance U". We talk to the head ball coach about his extensive coaching background, what Oakland means to him and why Laney College is so special. Plus, Beam dives into why he loves to coach.

Plus, some of his key insights for Nebraska football and even a surprise team for the playoff. Stephen and Colton give their thoughts on the Big Ten season and how a conference-only schedule plays a big role. Also, as COVID-19 cases spike, the MLB has a major problem on its hands just days into the season.
The boys are back to break down the NFL’s plan for the upcoming season and the impact it could have on the future. Also, Hard Knocks probably won’t be any good without preseason games. As professional sports return, college conferences are scrambling to ensure a fall season. Some schools have already cancelled and some are altering their schedules. Meanwhile, a majority of Division I programs are in wait and see mode. Plus, we talk about Tiger Woods and the outlook for his career.
If you thought the Cam Newton signing was big, just take a look at Patrick Mahomes' truck full of money. The Chiefs have locked themselves into a massive deal in hopes of winning a few more titles. We chat about what this kind of money means for other players. Plus, Washington is reviewing their team name now that investors and companies are threatening financial repercussions. Does this mean more changes are coming? Will Dan Snyder continue to be an ignorant little man? Finally, the boys got a little taste of their old-school pick 'em with a hypothetical Big Ten vs. SEC challenge. Who comes out on top and why is Rutgers the real winner here?
The boys are back to break down the sports that are returning and if the players will follow through. There appears to be a baseball season on the horizon and basketball is preparing for a very Goofy playoff season. We discuss possible changes in the MLB and how the restart of the NBA affects the next season. Plus, it's the middle of the summer so what better time to talk about conference realignment. With travel being an issue for college football, what would a proximity-based conference season look like.

We go over the best teams in NBA history and the history of star players getting all the calls. With "The Last Dance" being a hit, what other documentaries would be worth investing 10 parts into? A review of the racing series Marbula E and a debate of whether the Power Five conferences could ever leave the NCAA.
The boys are losing their minds at home without sports, but luckily the NFL Draft happened at the right time. We break down the draft with winners, losers, surprises and how our teams ended up. Based on Colton and Stephen's first-round prediction success, a 2021 mock draft will be made. Just to have it blow up in our faces. With no other sports in sight, we come back to the idea of how leagues can return safely. Plus, ANOTHER $15 draft of NBA players.
It's that time of the year and we finally have something that resembles sports, the NFL Draft. Typically, it's a complement to spring football and falls in line with NBA and NHL playoffs. But with the suspended seasons, the Draft is in the spotlight. Now let's just hope everyone has a good internet connection. Stephen and Colton discuss the troubles with a virtual draft as well as the benefits of it. The guys break down their favorite players in the draft, some overrated quarterbacks and who could sneak into the first round. The boys are back by popular demand and keeping a safe distance from each other. In this crazy time, it's tough to imagine what life after quarantine will be like. Especially in the sports world. We try to navigate an impossible question of how to bring sports back safely. Virtual drafts and spring games to bring some hope to fans, but also it's kind of a mess. How some schools like Wisconsin will avoid offering waivers to student-athletes. Stephen and Colton each draft their quarantine roster, as well as offensive weapons for $15. Stephen defends the Rams logo, while Colton want to bring back crop top jerseys. Plus, we catch up on our most recent Netflix binges.

Coronavirus has forced some organizations to play behind closed doors and change interactions with fans and media. We talk about the biggest moves in free agency headlined by Tom Brady. A couple of big trade rumors and signings before the official processing start time on March 18. Plus, it's college football's offseason and that means it's time to talk about conference realignment.
As the great rapper Future once said "If she ever catch me cheating, I will never tell her sorry." Who would've known that he was referring to the Astros apologizing to the game of baseball. Colton and Stephen review their past week full of doctor's appointments and disappointments. The NFL proposed a playoff change right after the MLB and frankly, their's is probably better. The owners want 17 games but don't want to compensate the players properly. The players just want to live longer. A Zamboni driver wins an NHL game and honestly, that's the only sport that something this cool could happen in.
The boys are back and mildly better than ever. After a brief 14-month hiatus, we relive the moments that we may not have believed in 2018.
