Synopsis In this horror comedy, we’re introduced to three sorority sisters looking for a fun, boys-free getaway at a riverside cabin. Of course, the boys show up anyway, bringing plenty of relationship drama along with them. But the real trouble begins when toxic waste creates a colony of bloodthirsty zombie beavers that just won’t stay dead. What started as a carefree getaway quickly becomes a frantic fight for survival Review Zombeavers is one of those movies that has a huge following, and is incredibly hard for me to review objectively because it is so not for me. I understand the type of movie it is and it's intent but I feel like things still could have been improved to make it more watchable: better dialogue, characters, pacing. I honestly like the idea of zombie beavers, but it has to be done a little better than this. The movie is very self aware in that it really is parodying horror tropes in general which makes you feel in on the joke but when the majority of the characters are hard to connect with in anyway you lose the attention of your audience. Around half way through I was waiting for something more to happen, develop the characters or don't this fell somewhere in limbo. When the action starts it's pretty consistent. Goofy special effects are actually something I liked about this but something can be goofy and silly but have decent dialogue. I know there are die hard lovers of this movie but the whole time I was just wishing I was doing something else. The movie definitely doesn't take itself too seriously so you shouldn't either but that being said it's still a two out of ten movie for me. Score 2/10
What would you do... if you had the power of a young Denise Richards & Paul Walker, mixed in with some raunchy humor, B-movie horror gore, a robotic dinosaur on loan and a lion? Well with a short production window, you too could harness the magic of the 1990s B-movie wonder known as Tammy and the T-Rex, or Tanny and the Teenage T-Rex. It's an absolute master class in cinematic unpredictability and WTF-ness. From the director of Mac and Me, comes a family friendly teen romance about a girl named Tammy, or Tanny..., who has a possessive NOT-boyfriend named Billy, who is in love with a better boy named Michael, who turns out, gets his brain transplanted into an animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex. Who would have thought! You will never know what the next scene holds in this truly unhinged film. Thanks for tuning in. Goofy license plates are just one aspect of the news beeing chosen this week
A major Space Mountain refurbishment may be under consideration at Walt Disney World, and the rumor has Disney fans wondering how much of the classic attraction could change. Lauren and Eric break down reports of a possible retrack, redesigned queue and loading areas, updated ride vehicles, and new audio. They also discuss what an extended closure could mean for the PeopleMover and the larger future of Tomorrowland. Then, inspired by Space Mountain's notoriously rough ride, they compare the Disney attractions most likely to leave guests sore, dizzy, or searching for a chiropractor. HIGHLIGHTS • The latest rumor surrounding a major Space Mountain refurbishment at Walt Disney World. • What a possible retrack, redesigned queue, updated vehicles, and new audio could mean for the attraction. • Why fans want Disney to preserve Space Mountain's music, atmosphere, and classic Tomorrowland identity. • How an extended Space Mountain closure could affect the PeopleMover. • Whether Disney could add Star Wars, WALL-E, or another intellectual property to the ride. • Space Mountain, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Dinosaur, and Goofy's Sky School compete for Disney's roughest ride. • Mission: SPACE, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Smugglers Run, and Summit Plummet also earn painful reputations. runDisney didn't start as a massive, must-register-in-minutes phenomenon. It grew into that, and Jon Hughes was in the middle of the turning points. We finish our conversation with the Track Shack leader who helped bring the Walt Disney World Marathon to life, then watched it evolve into a global runDisney culture where first-timers, costumers, walkers, and marathoners all belong on the same course.Jon shares when the races first felt “bigger than expected,” why the paper signup era created real confusion about sellouts, and how new weekends and concepts like Wine and Dine's early night-race vibe reshaped logistics. We also get the origin story of the Goofy and Dopey challenges, including the moment the Dopey name clicked and why well-trained multi-race runners can actually fare better than people who show up underprepared for a single event. Along the way we talk characters, entertainment placement, and the simple reason so many people start running at Disney: they feel safe and welcomed.Back with the hosts, we bring it to the present with summer training honesty: slowing down in heat and humidity, staying consistent through wind and bad air quality, and holding onto the mindset that your current pace might be someone else's dream. Plus, Julia joins us for the race report spotlight to celebrate her 50th half marathon at Presque Isle and a strong finish as she lines up an ambitious season ahead. If you enjoy the show, subscribe, share it with a running friend, and leave us a review so more runners can find the Rise and Run community.Send us Fan MailSupport the showRise and Run Podcast is supported by our audience. Gio calls Tom Brady's recent antics awkward and forced now that the quarterback has officially reached "cornball status." Next, Boomer questions Cam Skattebo's weekend backflip injury and future NFL longevity, leading into a chat about aging singers and the forgotten date of Boomer's upcoming Radio Hall of Fame induction. Jerry's update delivers the international call of the lone World Cup Final goal—amidst analyst complaints about the match and Gio's disappointment that the Muppets performed instead of Dua Lipa—before breaking down Max Muncy's home run off Gerrit Cole. Finally, a caller brings up a hothead golfer who was once fined for farting, prompting Gio to claim that Boomer doesn't always own his own.

Celebrate America's Bicentennial through the lens of Disneyland in this episode of Sent from Disneyland. We begin with a 1975 Jungle Cruise postcard featuring a skipper protecting guests from charging hippos, setting the stage for a look back at Disneyland's America on Parade celebration. From the park's 20th Anniversary logo to the iconic Spirit of '76 artwork featuring Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, we explore three different Disneyland guide maps produced during the Bicentennial years and the patriotic artwork that became synonymous with the celebration. A second postcard, showing the Primeval World dinosaurs along the Disneyland Railroad, takes us deeper into the evolution of these souvenir maps. We compare their changing cover artwork, movie advertisements, entertainment schedules, ticket prices, and even the subtle differences found inside each edition. Along the way, we revisit the daytime and nighttime performances of America on Parade and uncover how Disney promoted its films alongside the park experience during 1975 and 1976. The episode concludes with an incoming postcard mailed from Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, sparking a conversation about receiving "Disney magic" through the mail, the growing community of Disney postcard collectors, and a recommendation for this week's companion episode of the Photoniks podcast. It's also another opportunity to highlight the wonderful community surrounding the Dear Pen Pal Podcast, whose hosts continue to celebrate the joy of handwritten correspondence. From Jungle Cruise adventures and prehistoric dinosaurs to patriotic parades and vintage park maps, this episode explores how Disneyland celebrated America's 200th birthday—and how those memories continue to live on through postcards, souvenirs, and the mail. News: Disneyland's Autopia attraction is facing a strict state-mandated deadline to retire its gas-powered car fleet by February 1, 2027, or face being shut down. This comes after Honda discovered an administrative engine certification error in 2023, resulting in a 2024 environmental violation notice and a financial settlement for Disney. While the compliance plan doesn't explicitly force electric vehicles, Disneyland officials have confirmed they are actively developing a fully electric car prototype to keep the 71-year-old ride running. – https://www.micechat.com/437247-disneyland-news-autopia-tinker-bell-construction/ To celebrate the release of Toy Story 5 this summer, Disney California Adventure is introducing rotating drawing lessons for characters like Woody, Buzz, and newcomer Lilypad at the Animation Academy. Introduced in 1999, FLIK relied on guests carrying red tracking cards through attraction lines, with the final installation recently removed from Goofy's Sky School at Disney California Adventure. Send us Fan MailGiving Disney characters college degrees sounds ridiculous until you try it and realize how weirdly accurate it can get. We're handing out diplomas, picking real universities, and then pushing the story forward: what job would they actually take, what would their “capstone” look like, and which characters would absolutely weaponize group projects? We start with a cocktail pulled straight from Disney World inspiration: a coconut mango cocktail in the Skipper Canteen spirit. We talk ingredients, our at-home tweaks, and why it drinks like a sweet, thick Disney dessert in a glass. Then we connect the vibe to the Society of Explorers and Adventurers and the idea of Disney edutainment, because yes, we're taking this bit way too seriously in the best way. From there it's a fast-paced Disney character deep dive: Goofy as an engineer, Belle as a library science powerhouse, Milo Thatch with an Oxford-level obsession, and villains like Scar and Hades using business and “customer service” degrees for maximum chaos. We also hit creative picks like Rapunzel and Daisy Duck, plus a handful of rapid-fire ideas that turn into a listener challenge. If you've ever argued about Disney character personality types, backstories, or “what happened next,” you'll feel at home here.
