Mason McCormick will move from right guard to left guard this season. People say that left guard is more important than right guard, should the Steelers trust McCormick to play the position? Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike says that if Baker Mayfield becomes available next offseason, the Steelers should sprint to his agent's office and start working out a contract immediately. He also says that the Buccaneers contract offer to Mayfield was low, and Mayfield's agency didn't want to even respond to it. Florio says it would be wrong for the NFL to take action against Brendan Sorsby before he broke any NFL gambling rules, but he also isn't sure if they will or not.

He posted 400 times on Instagram with 50 followers. Most people would have quit. James Dumoulin just kept going.  I've been waiting to have this young man on for a while, and he did not disappoint. At 23 years old, James has built something I genuinely did not think was possible at this age: 21 million followers, 200 million views a month, 70 employees, and 48 billionaire interviews including Tom Cruise, Tom Brady, Will Smith, and Reid Hoffman. He built all of it from scratch, starting as a Chick-fil-A employee who saw TikTok as a marketing engine before anyone else did. James is the co-founder of the School of Hard Knocks, and what he has learned sitting across from the wealthiest people in the world will hit you in the best way possible. In this conversation, we go deep on what it actually takes to build something great when you have no connections, no credibility, and no one betting on you. James breaks down the exact strategy he used to get into rooms most people will never see, including how he cold-approached Mark Cuban at South by Southwest with nothing but nerve and a borrowed title. We talk about what the wealthiest people in the world actually have in common, whether money buys happiness, and why your age, your background, or your starting point is not the obstacle you think it is. James also gets honest about the moments where it almost fell apart, including the day their revenue dropped from $30,000 a month to under $5,000 overnight and what he did to rebuild. This is one of the most practical, fire conversations I've had in a long time, and James is the real deal. Here's what you'll gain from this episode: The Authority Hack: How James borrowed credibility he didn't have yet to get in rooms most people will never see, and how you can do it starting today with what you already have. Billionaires Think in Decades: The single mindset shift James observed in every billionaire he's interviewed, and why your obsession with the short term is the real thing holding you back. Concentration Builds Wealth: Why trying to do too many things too early is the silent killer of most businesses, and what the wealthiest people actually do first. The Rejection Blueprint: Why James says "no" just means "not yet," and how posting 400 times with 50 followers is what actually built a business doing $700,000 a month. Are Billionaires Actually Happy? What James has witnessed behind the scenes with some of the most successful people in the world, and the one thing the happiest ones all have in common.  This is one of those conversations that changes the way you think about what's actually possible. Anders and Jess discuss where the roster is lacking and their confidence levels on them coming back. We shouldn't have to wait for the rest of the conference to suck to believe in the Mariners' ability to get to and win in the postseason. Time to dive into the Mariners' pitching rotation and what we're seeing there. The World Cup is coming to Seattle and Anders is pumped for it to not only be in America, but to be in his hometown. Ticket prices are dropping, and that's a good sign for fans to be able to attend. Danny O'Neil, The Dang Apostrophe! There are a ton of distractions with Seahawks' rivals this off-season. Is Danny drinking the Rams' Kool-Aid? Finally, Danny sees a favorable first half of the season for the Seahawks and that Mike Macdonald has a more buttoned-down approach than Pete Carroll did. Ty Dane Gonzalez, Locked on Mariners joins us to talk about what we've seen from the Mariners. Should Cal have gone to the IL earlier than now? At least they didn't wait too long for what seemed like an inevitable decision. Getting cut is brutal. Getting cut on Hard Knocks is a whole different kind of pain. Roosevelt “Rosie” Nix sits down with us to tell the parts of his story most fans never hear, from being labeled “too small” out of Ohio to choosing Kent State because the coaches believed in him first, and how that early trust shaped everything that came next.We talk about Rosie's roots as a defensive lineman, why sacks were always the goal, and how he trained for the NFL as an “athlete” while teams projected him at linebacker, fullback, or anywhere he could help. Then we get into the hard turn: Atlanta, cameras, learning an entirely new offensive language, and a cut that sent him back home to teach at his high school while he kept training for a second chance that was not guaranteed. That second chance shows up in Pittsburgh, and it comes with a twist. Rosie breaks down what it's like to be told by Mike Tomlin, in a quick locker room moment, that you're switching again and you have seconds to decide. We dig into special teams as a career lifeline, the core four phases, why kickoff coverage became his stage, and how belief plus relentless work can turn a “role player” into someone teams actually game plan for. We also catch up on life after football, mental health, and Rosie's new chapter in franchising with Playa bowls.Footbahlin Merch:https://footbahlin-with-ben-roethlisberger.clockwise.io/products

I live by one rule that has shaped almost every good thing in my career: do the thing first and ask for forgiveness later. Not permission. Forgiveness. The people who wait for the right connection, the right introduction, the right moment, usually end up watching someone bolder walk past them into the room they were trying to get into. That is exactly why I wanted to sit down with James Dumoulin. James is the 23-year-old founder of School of Hard Knocks, the media brand you have almost certainly seen on your feed even if you never clocked the name. He is the guy who walks up to strangers in G-Wagons and Rolexes and asks them how much money they make. That one move, repeated enough times, turned into 48 billionaire interviews, 22 million followers, and an 8-figure business before most people his age have figured out what they want to do after college. In this episode, James breaks down how he actually built the empire, the business decisions that saved it, why he turned down hundreds of thousands in easy sponsorship money, and the one question he asks every wealthy person he meets. He also gets into what he thinks his own generation is getting wrong, why the gatekeepers are the reason most people never land the meeting, how he cold-emailed Mark Cuban and got a yes in three seconds, and the moment going viral almost cost him everything. If you have ever hesitated to make the ask, send the email, or walk up to the person, this conversation will change how you think about what is actually possible. What's Discussed: (02:15) How James went from working at Chick-fil-A to building School of Hard Knocks. (08:20) How he got Mark Cuban as his first big interview through a cold email. (11:05) The only metric on social media that actually matters.  (14:30) What makes the first three to five seconds of a video work & why the hook is everything. (18:45) Why going viral once is not a business and how the platforms can take it all away overnight. (21:20) The moment School of Hard Knocks went from $30k a month to under $5k in a single day. (24:10) Why Facebook pays more than Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube combined. (26:30) The sponsorships James turned down to protect the brand.  (31:15) How he built multiple businesses on top of the content.  (36:00) What it is actually like behind the scenes trying to interview Tom Cruise. (40:20) Why the most successful people are the easiest to reach and the gatekeepers are the real bottleneck. (46:10) What James thinks his own generation is getting completely wrong about work and life. (52:30) The one piece of advice from a Goodyear executive that James has lived by ever since. (58:15) The mindset shift that separates billionaires from everyone else. (1:04:40) Why he still edits every single video himself even with 70 employees. (1:10:25) How to build a personal brand if you are starting in your 40s or 50s and not fluent in digital. (1:15:50) What is next for The School of Hard Knocks and the new channels James is building. You can't teach a broke person anything." — James Dumoulin "The most important relationship we have is that one that we have with God." — James Dumoulin "Legacy is less about what you have or what you pass on.
