4. This file focuses on the "antifragile" societies that thrived amid chaos: the Phoenicians and Cypriots. The Phoenicians transformed into a maritime powerhouse, establishing colonies like Carthage and spreading the standardized alphabet. Meanwhile, the Cypriots pivoted from copper to iron metallurgy, innovating with new technologies that defined the early Iron Age. Cline clarifies that iron weapons did not cause the collapse but were an adaptation to it once tin supplies were cut. Both groups demonstrated genius by seizing opportunities created by broken supply chains, ultimately flourishing while their more rigid, larger neighbors failed to adapt. (4)
Many accounting firms feel stuck doing compliance work while leaving significant revenue on the table. In this conversation, Michelle Weinstein joins Fady Hawatmeh of Clockwork AI to explore how firms can evolve beyond bookkeeping and transactional services into high-value advisory practices. They break down why accountants often undercharge, give away free advice, and struggle with sales structure—and how shifting to value-based pricing, clear service tiers, and problem-focused consulting can dramatically increase profitability without adding more hours. Michelle and Fady also discuss overcoming impostor syndrome, packaging advisory services effectively, and using technology to scale insight-driven guidance for clients. The result is a roadmap for transforming an accounting practice into a strategic partner that drives real business growth.

In this episode of Retail War Games, Jeremy sits down with Jason and Meradith Christensen, the husband-and-wife duo behind Blue Unicorn Bar. After building Northstar into one of the largest home security companies in the nation and exiting to private equity, Jason "disrupted himself" to enter the brutal world of CPG. We dive into the "Willy Wonka" chemistry behind their proprietary manufacturing, the logistical nightmare of shipping real chocolate in the summer, and how they landed major retailers like Harmon's and Associated Food Stores in record time. From the high-stakes pivot of a tech founder to the molecular science required to create a "fluffy" protein bar without additives, this conversation reveals what it truly takes to scale a premium brand while maintaining total control over production.

Women's football doesn't become world-class by accident. It gets built step by step, with the unglamorous work that most people never see. This Stoppage Time Special is a highlight reel of standout moments from Pitch to Pro, and it zeroes in on one big question: what does it actually take to grow a women's soccer program into a real powerhouse? We talk about the challenge of player development and grassroots soccer in Mexico, and why building the right structure matters as much as signing big names. You'll hear how Club América approaches the “staircase” of growth, from staffing and facilities to creating standards that can support the next generation. There's also a candid look at what progress feels like on the inside: going from a small coaching group to a larger staff, moving into stadium matches, and seeing the women's game earn broadcast attention. We also connect the dots to Northwest Arkansas and why the University of Arkansas women's soccer program stands out as a model of consistency and competitive culture. Along the way, we touch on the human side of football leadership: long travel days, demanding schedules, and the importance of trust and real relationships inside a club.If you care about women's soccer, player development, or the future of women's football, this segment delivers sharp insight fast. Interview with Mark Chalmers, President & CEO of Energy Fuels Inc.Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/energy-fuels-nyseuuuu-advancing-rare-earth-integration-with-asm-acquisition-9151Recording date: 4th March 2026Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE:UUUU) is one of the most strategically distinctive companies in the critical minerals space. While most Western rare earth ventures address a fragment of the supply chain, Energy Fuels has spent five years assembling a vertically integrated operation that spans the full value chain: from heavy mineral sands in Australia and Madagascar, monazite processing at its White Mesa Mill in Utah, to separated rare earth oxides, and following the acquisition of Australian Strategic Materials. No other Western company has assembled this complete a picture. The relevance of that distinction has never been greater. China controls an estimated 85–90% of global rare earth processing capacity, and Western governments, particularly the United States and Australia, have identified this dependency as a critical strategic vulnerability. Policy support, government financing programmes, and demand from original equipment manufacturers seeking non-Chinese supply are all converging to create the market that Energy Fuels has been building toward. The company's rare earth strategy is technically differentiated in an important way. By processing monazite rather than bastnäsite, Energy Fuels produces both light and heavy rare earth elements. Heavy rare earths, particularly dysprosium and terbium, are essential for the high-performance permanent magnets used in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and defence systems. This positions Energy Fuels in a part of the market where supply scarcity is most acute and strategic urgency is highest.Near-term, uranium is the business. Energy Fuels is guiding for up to 2.5 million pounds of uranium production (the highest of any US-based producer) at competitive costs, against a backdrop of firming uranium prices driven by a structural global supply deficit. This uranium revenue stream funds the rare earth build-out without requiring the company to dilute aggressively or rely entirely on external capital markets. On the financing front, the picture has changed materially. A Goldman Sachs-arranged convertible note, completed at just 0.75% interest in under one week, has pushed deployable capital to nearly $1 billion. The company's total build-out requirement is estimated at $2 billion, a figure that seemed ambitious 18 months ago but is now regarded by management, and increasingly by investors, as achievable through a combination of capital markets access, offtake agreements with floor price structures, and potential government support from the US and Australian governments. The two flagship projects: the Phase Two rare earth expansion at White Mesa, and the Vera heavy mineral sands project in Madagascar to carry a combined NPV of close to $4 billion and a combined EBITDA potential of $800–$900 million per year at steady-state. Full rare earth revenues are targeted from 2028–2030, making this a medium-to-long-term investment thesis. For investors with a 3–5 year horizon and conviction in the structural ex-China critical minerals demand story, Energy Fuels offers a rare combination: a producing uranium business generating real revenues today, and a rare earth platform with genuine scale, technical depth, and improving financial visibility. The build-out is complex and multi-year, but the pieces finally are falling into place.View Energy Fuels' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/energy-fuelsSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

President Xi Jinping called on Thursday for provinces serving as China's economic powerhouses to pilot efforts in analyzing new circumstances and solving new problems, while stressing the need to develop new quality productive forces and promote common prosperity. The president, who represents Jiangsu province as a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress, China's top legislature, highlighted the imperative for China to cope with an even more complex environment and solve more deep-seated issues to accomplish targets and tasks set out in the nation's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30).Xi, who is also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, joined a deliberation with his fellow deputies from Jiangsu, the nation's second-largest provincial-level economy.According to the government work report of the Jiangsu provincial government, the province's economy grew 5.3 percent year-on-year in 2025, with the absolute increase remaining the largest among all provincial-level regions in the country.During Thursday's deliberation, Xi spoke after six deputies shared their insights on issues such as advancing new industrialization, promoting the integration of sci-tech innovation with industrial innovation, and accelerating breakthroughs in core technologies. The development of new quality productive forces is instrumental in advancing high-quality growth and enhancing economic competitiveness, Xi said, adding that Jiangsu should take the lead in this regard. He called for integrated efforts to promote education, science and technology and talent development, highlighting the need to secure new breakthroughs in strengthening original innovation, tackling key core technologies and securing the high ground in science and technology.New approaches should be explored to promote the integration of the innovation, industrial, capital and talent chains, and to accelerate the efficient commercialization and application of sci-tech achievements, he said. The president encouraged Jiangsu to make new progress in upgrading traditional industries, fostering and expanding emerging industries, and planning for future industries.Xi emphasized that only when major economic powerhouses maintain a strong foundation for growth and strong resilience against external shocks can they support the stability of the world's second-largest economy as a whole.According to data cited by Xinhua News Agency, China's top 10 provincial-level regions by gross domestic product accounted for 62.2 percent of the country's overall economic growth in 2025. These regions, including Guangdong, Jiangsu and Shandong provinces, helped boost the national growth rate by 3.1 percentage points, the data showed. The president said that Jiangsu should continue to strengthen economic resilience by improving its internal strengths, enhancing its own capabilities, and fully integrating into the unified national market. He called for taking steps to expand high-standard opening-up, actively explore global markets and better connect with the international economic cycle, adding that a mindset of responding to worst-case scenarios must be adopted in order to prevent various risks.Xi pointed out that Chinese modernization is the modernization of common prosperity for all, and Jiangsu authorities should accurately grasp the new expectations of the people for a better life, as well as the evolving characteristics of work related to public well-being under the new circumstances. The province should proactively address key issues such as ensuring high-quality and adequate employment, increasing incomes for both urban and rural residents, and further improving the level of basic public services and social security, while exploring effective pathways to promote common prosperity, he added.Xi stressed that the more effective the Party's self-governance is, the stronger the guarantee will be for economic and social development. He called for steps to properly carry out the Party-wide education campaign to promote a sound understanding of governance performance.

I truly enjoyed my conversation with Naveen.Even with all of his accomplishments, he's very humble and unassuming. When speaking about his mother, he fondly recalls stories of how his mother ran their household. Don't forget, at this time in India, women did not work. Their role was to make sure the home was well kept with generations of family members all living under one roof. Naveen's father was a Senior Officer in the Royal Service and it was an arranged marriage that brought the couple together. Jayalakshmi was an exceptionally talented writer of short stories and novels. Her first priority was at home taking care of the family. She never sat around. She carried a clip board around with her and wrote down her most cherished thoughts. On a daily basis, she kept all the financial records/household accounts of how much money was spent each day. She stayed up late every night to write in two different India languages. Naveen learned from his maternal grandmother that his mother, the first of eight children dropped out of school after sixth grade because she wanted to get married and settled down. Culturally that was accepted and the norm for the most part.My guest, the youngest of four children, had two sisters and one brother. As he says now, "I'm the last man standing." He grew up among elders including his aunt and uncle and his cousin all together in one household. Naveen shares three very touching stories about his mother including how and when she started her writing, her professional connections and her public recognition as a highly revered author. Again, in India, this is unheard of and she did this without fanfare or calling attention to herself.Naveen's mom, didn't have much of a sense of humor according to her son. She was very practical and a no nonsense kind of woman yet happy with her life.To find out more about my guest you can use the link below. This event is scheduled for August 28, 2022. https://thewashingtonmail.com/win-free-books/Books Naveen has written:A Hittite and a Shaman: At Queen Nefertari's Secret ServiceStarlight in the Dawn: The Poetic Priestess who chose to fightCandlelight in a Storm: Born to Be a Berliner"Candlelight In A Storm-Born To Be A Berliner" a biography of Naveen's wife who fled from WWII's violence, escaped from Communist regimes and traveled around the world. He is the recipient of the 2018 DaVinci Eye Finalist-The Eric Hoffer Award. “Courageous and resilient women in history: Women are under-represented in history. A closer look and even fantasy in fiction may help," say Sradhir. My guest has written several books about women who have overcome difficulties, oppression and more. Mr. Sridhar continues " women ,famous or not, who show their grit by way of resilience, adamance and courage, these women are quiet and not talked about, their stories untold. What happens when a stable career in government turns into a sudden layoff in the middle of New York City? For Claire Angelle, it was the "oh sh*t" moment that birthed a thriving agency. Claire Angelle is a former diplomat turned PR strategist with over 20 years of experience in communications, media relations, and international affairs. Before founding Elevia, Claire opened and led the City of Atlanta’s first Office of International Affairs, helping generate over $2.7 billion in economic impact and 10,000+ new jobs while raising more than $3 million in funding for global initiatives. In this episode, Claire joins Nathan to discuss her transition from the French Foreign Service to founding Elevia. They dive deep into why mission-driven organizations often struggle to tell their stories, the critical balance between "the head and the heart" in data-driven narratives, and why ethical storytelling requires a new approach to consent. Life will punch you in the mouth. That's not pessimism—that's reality. In this episode, Ruth unpacks what actually derails us. It's not the hard thing itself. It's the story we attach to it. When plans fall apart, when the diagnosis comes, when the ankle breaks, when life refuses to cooperate, we quietly decide it means something about who we are.And that's where the spiral starts. This episode is about recalibration—the skill of returning. Because maybe you're not as far off track as you think you are. Maybe you're just in the middle of life. What You'll Learn:Why hard seasons don't derail you—but the meaning you assign to them mightThe hidden story that turns a detour into a verdictWhy “I never follow through” is usually a lie born from exhaustionThe difference between failure and recalibrationWhy progress has never been a straight line (for anyone)What disciplined people actually do differentlyHow Ruth's Think Big, Plan Small system is built for disruption—not perfectionWhy “show up” can be the most courageous wildly important goalHow to return without overcompensating or starting overWhy getting back on track isn't the exception—it's the entire gameKey Quotes:“We don't fall apart because life gets hard. We fall apart because we decide what it means.”“Failure is a verdict. Recalibration is a practice.”“Disciplined people don't avoid getting knocked down. They get back up faster.”“The recalibration isn't the backup plan—it's the whole point.”“You don't need to catch up. You just need to return.”“You're not starting over. In this episode of Inside the Network, we sit down with Sanjay Beri, Founder and CEO of Netskope, a company that sits at the intersection of AI, data security, and global edge networking. Over thirteen years, Sanjay scaled Netskope to 4,000+ customers (including 30% of the Fortune 100), 3,000+ employees across 30 countries, and ultimately took the company public in September 2025 in one of the year's standout cybersecurity IPOs.Sanjay's journey is a masterclass in playing the long game. From growing up in Canada selling door-to-door with his mom, where he learned grit and resilience, to working at Microsoft during the early internet era, to becoming one of Juniper's youngest VPs running a large business, Sanjay built the rare blend of product, go-to-market, and leadership muscle it takes to build at scale. We talk about the origins of Netskope, why it was never “just a CASB,” how Sanjay recruited world-class early engineers and built a high-trust culture, and what product-market fit looked like in the first chapter of the company. He also breaks down some of Netskope's biggest bets, including building its own edge cloud instead of relying on public cloud networks, and launching AI Labs years before today's GenAI wave.Whether you're building a cyber startup, scaling into the enterprise, or studying what it takes to go from zero to IPO, this episode is packed with hard-earned lessons on conviction, the importance of building a winning culture, and endurance.

In aerospace and defense, a structural shift in global manufacturing is underway. Supply chains are strained, skilled labor is scarce, and production backlogs are testing relationships between OEMs and suppliers across the globe. So the industry is being forced to look for answers in new places. One of those places is India. What started as an engineering and software hub is rapidly becoming something much larger. A manufacturing powerhouse capable of delivering aerospace-grade quality, advanced digital operations, and the scale required to support global demand. In this highlight episode, I revisit my conversation with the co-founder and CEO of Jeh Aerospace, Vishal Sanghavi. He explains why major suppliers are moving work to India, how credibility is earned with Western customers, and why the opportunity ahead is bigger than a simple cost advantage. You'll also learn: Why labor shortages in the U.S. are accelerating permanent shifts in manufacturing geography How pairing India's talent base with modern digital infrastructure changes what suppliers can deliver What it takes to overcome skepticism and prove reliability to Western aerospace customers Why the companies that win will think beyond arbitrage and build technology leverage How India's momentum could reshape the global supplier map for decades Why, with market demand, policy movement, and geopolitics aligning, the window of opportunity is now About the Guest Vishal R. Sanghavi is the co-founder & CEO of Jeh Aerospace. He has been a leader in the aerospace and defense (A&D) industry for nearly two decades. He co-founded Jeh Aerospace in 2022 with his long-time colleague Venkatesh Mudragalla. Vishal is on a mission to transform aerospace manufacturing by harnessing the power of advanced technologies like robotic automation, AI, and AR/VR, and leveraging the vast talent pool of countries like India through friend-shoring. He is building Jeh Aerospace into a new-age technology-driven manufacturing company that will deliver stringent-quality flying parts 10x faster, better, and cheaper. Vishal's entrepreneurial journey began at the renowned Tata Group, where he built and led large multimillion-dollar businesses and became one of the youngest CXOs for the group. He spearheaded numerous aerospace businesses during his tenure, including the Tata Boeing Joint Venture (JV), Tata Sikorsky JV, and Tata Lockheed JV, which manufacture large, complex aerospace systems. Leverage Your Incredible Factor Business Podcast with Darnyelle Jervey Harmon, MBA
“Strength becomes a cage when you forget you're allowed to set it down.”— Dr. Darnyelle Jervey Harmon This episode is powered by The Ascension Archetype Quiz. If you are the one who always has it together, this conversation is going to feel uncomfortably accurate. If you are a 6- or 7-figure CEO who is calm under pressure, dependable in crisis, composed when everyone else spirals, and secretly exhausted from carrying it all, lean in. We're talking about high-performing leaders, emotional suppression in leadership, nervous system bracing, performance-based identity, and the quiet cost of always being the strong one. This episode names what happens when professionalism turns into self-containment, when leadership culture rewards composure over honesty, and when your body starts holding receipts for the strength you never put down. Here's the truth: always having it all together requires chronic self-containment, and chronic self-containment eventually turns into suppression. Your body does not interpret that as leadership. It interprets it as bracing. And over time, bracing becomes tension, tension becomes disconnection, and disconnection becomes distance from yourself. You'll walk away with language for something you've normalized for years. You'll understand the difference between performance and stability, why identity fused with responsibility makes rest feel unsafe, and how your wiring as a Performer, Producer, Pathmaker, Powerhouse, or Prophet shapes how this shows up for you. Most importantly, you'll realize you are not broken. You are patterned. And patterns can be shifted. Grab your Move to Millions Podcast Notebook, a pen and your favorite beverage and listen in to discover: ✔ How to recognize when leadership strength has become self-containment ✔ How to differentiate performance from true internal stability ✔ How to begin rebuilding connection with yourself without abandoning responsibility ✔And so much more This episode is a call to the strong friend, the dependable CEO, the one everyone leans on and no one checks on. It's for leaders who confuse performance with stability and who have slowly fused their identity with being the one who never falls apart. What stands out about this conversation is that it does not attack your strength. It reframes it. And then it asks you to count the cost. This is your invitation to pause the performance long enough to feel what's actually happening inside of you. To stop asking “What's required of me?” and start asking “How am I actually doing?” If rest feels complicated, if vulnerability feels risky, and if letting support in feels foreign, this episode is for you.
