I personally never knew the Sunday scaries were a thing. Early in my twenties, I worked a job that required me to be in the office roughly seven (7) days a week. We had little to no time off, so there wasn't any true moment to experience the sensation. If I remember correctly, my wife was the first person to introduce me to the concept of the Sunday scaries. We were hanging out, watching a movie and she told me she had the “Sunday scaries.” I just laughed because I thought she just made it up and that it was clever. I stand corrected, and she explained what it was. Immediately intrigued, I Googled it and found that the Sunday scaries are indeed common and a sensation that many individuals battle with on a week to week basis. Why didn't I get them? Welp, my thesis allowed me to find a potential antidote. Warning: This antidote is not a one size fits solution. I apologize if it is not your fix. >> BLOG POSTPlease go drop us some feedback in the REVIEW SECTION of our podcast page.podcast.twentiesandthriving.comAppreciate you again, and see you next week!

Good morning! I want to start off this podcast by thanking everyone for their continued support in our mission. Everyone on our team feels extremely blessed to be able to continue to curate content that touches the lives of many 20 somethings. Today, we are going to touch on lessons to learn in your 20's. I put out an article earlier this week on the subject, make sure y'all check it out
Welcome back to the 20's and thriving podcast. This week we are going to talk about healthy eating in your 20's. This is probably one of the most difficult topics that we have touched on to date. Transparently, due to some imposter syndrome and the delicacy of diet culture, I doubled clutched on putting this article out. However, I concluded that eating healthy in your 20's is wayyyy too important of a topic to pass up on. I'm not a nutritionist nor am I pretending to be. So before we advance any further into my thought process, I want everyone to understand that I do not believe there is one correct way to eat, every diet has its pros and cons. Everyone is built differently and you have to cater your nutrition to your individual needs. And honestly think sometimes, more important than your actual diet, is consistency in choices you make. In this episode we dive into my own journey and how I get started in choosing a diet/nutrition plan that feeds my needs. For more information and deeper insight, click the link to our below!
Hello everyone, we are back with a new episode of Twenties and Thriving. Originally, Christian was joining us but transparently had a few technical issues so we are going to shoot from the hip this morning. Bear with me as I trip forward through this episode.Today we are going to talk about where to live in your 20's. I wrote a BLOG post about this topic earlier in the week and honestly it was a ton of fun. There is a running joke with my wife and her family that I'm a gypsy, but I own that. I hope you all enjoy the episode and we will see you next week! InstagramTwenties&ThrivingSuggestion Box
My strategy went from landing my dream job to finding any opportunity that would thrust me into situations I was not fully equipped for. I had a few full-time options on the table and opted for an internship with the Brooklyn Cyclones, a minor league baseball set in Coney Island. I was making $10/hr and living out of the hotel where the players were housed in exchange for rides back and forth from and to the stadium. As you can probably imagine, this decision was an unpopular choice by the masses but I knew I was doing right by myself. To make a long story short, this internship turned into my first full-time job. It was not monetarily lucrative but rich for the longevity of my career. I went against the grain and consciously chose the road less traveled because I knew that joining an organization with lesser resources would grant me opportunities not given otherwise. All I had to do was practice patience and be available for when my number was called.
Living with your parent(s) in your 20's has definitely become more of a common phenomenon within the younger generation. It's important to understand that everyone is moving at their own pace. No two situations are the same. Today we are touching on both the positives and negatives of living with your parents in your 20's.
I'll be the first to raise my hand on this, I'm the exact opposite of being patient. I have taken strides and have strengthened my ability to exercise patience BUT truthfully, patience is a virtue that I struggle with on a daily basis. And to add another layer to all of this, in my early twenties I was moving so fast, I did not even realize how impatient I was and the detriment it could have towards me reaching my long term goals.

20s fam, I hope y'all had a blessed week. I'm sure you all are wondering,“What the f*ck is a morning stack?” Truthfully, it is just my fancy way of saying morning routine.“Morning Stack” is just my fancy way of saying morning routine. In my early 20s, I worked for Temple Football. Our strength staff embodied the mantra of “STACKING DAYS.” We preached that striving oneself to be 1% better each and every single day, the compounding effect of that will lead to opportunities to earn success. Hopefully this was helpful and puts you on a path to setting a successful morning stack. Also, use the comments - I'd love to learn more about how you set your morning stack / if you found this information helpful how you are implementing these learnings to your life.Instagram Blog PostSuggestion Box
