Welcome to the very first the episode of WAHMs Rock! The Podcast. We are so excited you’ve stopped by to check it out. To kick things off, we discussed five common mistakes new work at home mothers make. We don’t leave you hanging though, we provide tips on how to avoid them, too. So, how do we know these are common mistakes? Well, because we’ve made them and learned from them, oftentimes, the hard way. Many of the insights, tips and information we will be sharing in our podcast are drawn from our own experiences – over ten years working from home and a total of 7 children combined – trust us when we say we’ve been there and done that. In this episode we offer our insights on the following topics: Launching your new business: create it and they will come? Right? Right? Umm… not exactly. Taking the time to actually care about your clients and LIKE the work you are doing. Setting the standards so high and killing yourself to live up to them Suffering burn out and not scheduling time for self-care Being too hard on yourself. For example, beating yourself up when you can’t get everything done for everyone in a 24-hour period. If any one of the bullet points resonate with you, then you absolutely want to tune into the first episode of WAHMs Rock! The Podcast. And, when you are done listening, tell us what you think.
