I stepped away from a multi-million dollar coaching business and came back with completely fresh eyes. So in today's episode, I'm about to share the most exciting announcement I've ever made on this podcast! And trust me, it impacts everything about how I run my business and serve my clients. After personally coaching over 400 clients and generating over half a million dollars while on maternity leave, I realized something had to change. Not because things weren't working, they were working incredibly well, but because I discovered gaps that were holding my clients back from even faster success. This isn't just another program update. It's a complete evolution that addresses every single frustration I've heard from my clients over the years.Whether you've been with me since day one or you're just discovering my work, what I'm about to share will completely shift how you think about building your coaching business. I'm even addressing that question my mother-in-law asked me about people copying my work, and my answer might surprise you.Topics covered on Shutting Down My $4 Million Coaching Business Program:Why I'm shutting down a program that's generated millions in revenue in my coaching business,How one client crossed the million-dollar mark in under two years using my system. Why are other wellness professionals suddenly joining my coaching program? What my mother-in-law asked me that made me realize just how different my approach to building a coaching business really is. Why giving clients MORE time (7 months instead of 4) actually produced WORSE results.Resources from this episode:Therapreneur: A Therapist's Guide to 3x Your Therapy IncomeTherapist to Coach Accelerator programEnter The Podcast Giveaway for the chance to win one of Carly's digital products: https://thethrivingtherapreneurpodcast.com/reviews CONNECT AND WORK WITH CARLY

Email me here: sam@healingcouples.org Episode show notes: Even after months of progress, one small trigger can make everything feel like it's falling apart — a look, a memory, a tone — and suddenly all the safety you've been building in your porn addiction recovery feels shaky again. In this episode, I talk about what's really happening in those moments when a porn trigger hits and your whole system goes into panic mode. I'll help you understand why triggers don't mean you've failed, and why they're actually a normal part of the porn recovery process. I'll share the “Falling Tiles” analogy I use with clients to explain what's going on beneath the surface, and how emotional safety, consistency, and small moments of follow-through are what create real freedom from pornography, not just temporary self-control. We'll cover: Why triggers are a normal part of porn addiction recovery — not a setback What happens in your brain and body when old fears resurface How to rebuild emotional safety after a pornography trigger Why trust sometimes collapses even when things are going well How to help your partner feel safe again without convincing or defending Whether you're working to overcome porn addiction, heal from pornography use, or rebuild trust in your relationship, this episode will help you make sense of the ups and downs and show you how to find steady ground again — not through willpower, but through understanding, consistency, and connection.

This week, in episode 264, Mel Gravely brings closure to a story he's been sharing in pieces over the past year. You may recall that he bought a facilities maintenance company a couple years ago that he was convinced he could scale—only to discover that it was hemorrhaging money. Mel dug in, diagnosed the problem, fixed it, bought out his partners, turned the company profitable—and then decided to shut it down. Why close a business that's making money? Mel explains the surprising answer, along with three lessons he says he learned. He also joins Jay Goltz in a candid discussion of the painful flipside of hiring: When, and how, does it make sense to lay off employees? As Jay points out, it's far easier to find advice about adding people than about letting them go, even though it's a calculation many owners are facing today. Plus: A would-be entrepreneur preparing to launch a business with two friends admits he's feeling scared. He wants to know whether that fear ever goes away. Mel and Jay think he's asking the wrong question.
In this episode, Christian sits down with Bill Amos, founder of Northwest Alpine, to talk candidly about his decision to close the company after 15 years. Bill shares what went into making the call, the relief that followed, and he reflects on what he's learned through the experience. From the challenges of sustaining a U.S.-made apparel brand to the pressures of demand, cash flow, and retail consolidation, Bill offers unfiltered insights on the hard truths of entrepreneurship. He also reflects on the future of domestic manufacturing, why demand matters more than margin, and what independent retailers and small brands need to survive in a changing market. The Secret Service says it thwarted a telecommunications cyber-op in New York City. On Tuesday, the agency announced that it seized a network of SIM servers. It was capable of jamming cell towers, conducting DDoS attacks and enabling encrypted communications. The discovery came ahead of world leaders gathering for the UN General Assembly this week. Also, Apple has delayed the release of its new series The Savant just three days before it was supposed to premiere this week. The timing of the sudden delay, and the lack of explanation for why the company is delaying the show, could be telling. Disney made a similar knee-jerk reaction in placing Jimmy Kimmel Live! on indefinite hiatus following a joke Kimmel made about the reaction to the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk. And, AI is an enormous energy drain, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions at a time when the planet desperately needs progress in the opposite direction. Although most of that comes from running GPUs, cooling them is another significant overhead. So, it's worth noting when a company of Microsoft's stature claims to have achieved a breakthrough in chip cooling. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

When IVF fails and you're childless after infertility, people often try to cheer you up with “at least you can…” comments. But what these comments really reveal is how uncomfortable our society is with sadness. In this episode, I share how a recent injury reminded me of that cultural reflex, why sadness is not a flaw, and how you can create room for both grief and growth as a childless woman. Plus: details on my free class September 17 and my World Childless Week panel on September 20, Rediscovering Your Identity as a Childless Woman. Sadness and Infertility: When It Feels Uncomfortable Have you ever been told “At least you can travel” or “At least you don't have to pay for college” after your IVF failed? If you're childless after infertility, you know how painful and dismissive these “at least you can” comments feel. People think they're comforting, but they rarely land that way. In this week's episode of The So Now What? Podcast, I explore what these comments really mean, why they don't help, and how to stop internalizing the silent message they send — that sadness, disappointment, and grief are emotions you shouldn't feel. You'll hear: Why people reach for “at least” comments and what it reveals about society's discomfort with sadness How my nephew's recent soccer injury reminded me of our instinct to erase someone else's sadness The connection between these comments and what we hear when IVF fails Why sadness is not a flaw but proof that something mattered to you How to hold both infertility grief and the good that still exists in your life Why rediscovering your identity as a childless woman can shift your story from loss to strength This episode also celebrates the 4-year anniversary of The So Now What? Podcast. Four years of creating a community for women who were left without resources after fertility treatments ended without a baby.
