They discuss the common misconceptions about needing the right team to succeed and emphasize that great people are created through effective leadership. The conversation explores the challenges of managing a dental practice, the significance of time and freedom, and the realities of selling a practice to a DSO. They provide pragmatic steps for overwhelmed dentists looking to improve their business and work-life balance. TAKEAWAYS The importance of celebrating milestones in life and business. Great people in business are created, not just found. Building strong relationships is key to business success. Leadership growth is crucial for organizational success. Pragmatic steps can help overwhelmed dentists regain control of their practices. Maximizing productivity can be achieved with a three-day work week. Clarity in goals is essential for success. Reverse engineering helps in creating actionable plans. Effective communication aligns the team with the vision. Delegation empowers team members and fosters growth. Dentists need to adopt a business mindset for freedom. Clarity reduces confusion and enhances team performance. Your dental license is a valuable asset for business. If you're spending hours creating beautiful content that gets crickets for engagement, the problem isn't your design skills or your expertise. It's probably your content topics! This episode will show you exactly how to fix it. Today I'm breaking down the framework I use to evaluate every single content topic before it goes live. Here's the truth: a great content topic can make mediocre design and copy perform well, but even the most beautiful, expertly crafted content will flop if the topic doesn't land. I spend more time ideating content topics than I do on creative, editing, or scripting, because when you nail the topic, everything else becomes easier. I'm sharing the exact 5 filter system I use to test whether a content topic will actually stop the scroll and convert, or if it's destined to get lost in the noise. From understanding the difference between "specific" and "niche" (they're not the same thing) to making sure your topics showcase your unique expertise without being too broad, this framework will transform how you approach content creation. I'm giving you real examples from my own content, including posts that could have performed better and exactly how I would fix them using this system. Plus, I'm sharing how this process saves me time on caption writing because when your content topic is strong enough, you don't need to rely on heavy captions to carry the message. In today's episode, we're talking about: Why content topics matter more than design or copy The difference between "specific" and "niche" How to make content personal to your expertise without making it hyper niche The attention-grabbing formula that gets people to stop scrolling Why trying to teach a "whole textbook" in one post is killing your engagement Connect with me: Website Join our email list! The integration of new fitness techniques and dietary changes, shared with family members, serves as a testament to the power of personal transformation. Amidst life's inevitable setbacks, the commitment to ongoing development remains unwavering, painting a picture of a life where professional achievements and personal well-being coexist, driving toward a future of holistic success and fulfillment. (00:02) Journey to Success Through Sandler Principles (16:43) The Mental Toughness of Success (21:06) Transformation Through Fitness and Business (37:08) Balancing Health and Business Success (00:02) Journey to Success Through Sandler Principles This chapter features a conversation with Carlos Garrido, a Sandler trainer from Miami, Florida, who shares his personal and professional journey. Originally from Manchester, England, Carlos discusses his multicultural background with a Greek mother and a Spanish father, and his initial career in finance and investment banking. He explains how he relocated to Miami in 2009 to lead business development and M&A activities in Latin America, a move that was prompted by the global emphasis on BRICS strategies. Despite not speaking Spanish initially, Carlos embraced the challenge and fell in love with Miami and the United States, eventually becoming an American citizen. He recounts how he transitioned from finance to starting his own business in Miami, with encouragement from his brother who was a Sandler client. The chapter highlights the importance of perseverance and connection in overcoming the initial challenges of entrepreneurship. (16:43) The Mental Toughness of Success This chapter explores the evolving notion of what signifies success and wealth, contrasting the 1980s' flashy displays with today's emphasis on physical health and time freedom. We examine how modern entrepreneurs prioritize fitness, highlighting billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg as examples of this shift. The conversation then transitions into a personal narrative about discovering and undertaking the 75 Hard program, a regimen aimed at mental toughness that also results in improved health. Initially resistant, I recount how repeated encounters with the program's concept, through friends and YouTube videos featuring its creator Andy Frazella, led to a transformative mindset shift. This experience underscores the importance of discipline, time management, and mental resilience in achieving personal growth. (21:06) Transformation Through Fitness and Business This chapter examines the journey of committing to a demanding 75-day program that requires daily dedication and challenges one's personal beliefs and identity. We explore how embarking on this journey required reevaluating what success means, questioning ingrained beliefs about roles as a man, father, and husband, and prioritizing personal health over economic achievements. Through self-reflection, the importance of self-concept in achieving success, especially in business and sales, is highlighted, emphasizing that one's self-worth is not solely tied to financial accomplishments. The transformative process includes overcoming cynicism and shifting the focus from external validation to an intrinsic sense of self-worth and personal value. This narrative illustrates the profound impact of challenging and reshaping one's identity and beliefs on personal growth and fulfillment. (37:08) Balancing Health and Business Success This chapter explores the journey of personal and professional growth, focusing on the transformation in mindset and lifestyle. We discuss the importance of integrating holistic practices like journaling, meditation, and philosophical exploration, particularly with Stoicism, to reshape perspectives on success and masculinity. Emphasizing the value of physical health, the narrative highlights adopting new fitness techniques and dietary habits, supported by resources like Men's Health and YouTube tutorials. We reflect on the continuous ambition for business growth, noting the significant progress made and future aspirations. The journey is one of balancing professional achievements with personal health and family life, sharing the challenges and rewards of weight loss and strength training, particularly in partnership with family members. Despite setbacks, the commitment to ongoing development remains steadfast, aiming for holistic success and well-being.

Inside Strategic Coach: Connecting Entrepreneurs With What Really Matters
If you're an entrepreneur, you've taken complete responsibility for your financial welfare, choosing to make a living based on what makes you unique. When entrepreneurs get frustrated and start focusing on what isn't working, it means they've strayed from their uniqueness. In this episode, Dan Sullivan and Shannon Waller explain how to recognize when this is happening and how to get back to finding business success doing what you love and are great at. Here's some of what you'll learn in this episode:The specific type of economic role every entrepreneur is uniquely designed to fill. The single root cause behind every problem an entrepreneur experiences. Why entrepreneurs get frustrated without knowing why.How to become hypersensitive to anything that will throw you off track. Show Notes: Your Unique Ability® is the innate talent you've been honing since birth, characterized by high energy and exceptional results. When children play, it's a way for them to discover what they're great at and love doing. Entrepreneurs create value for other people by doing what they're very good at and find easy to do. Most people don't bet their futures on the abilities that make them unique. Frustrated entrepreneurs become preoccupied with what doesn't work. The most effective way to solve problems is to strengthen what works, not to dwell on the problems themselves. Strategic Coach® helps you become an objective observer of your own performance. You're the only person you have a total lifetime responsibility for. Once you've figured yourself out, you can focus on being in great teamwork and collaboration with others. Powerful external collaborations are simply the linkage of unique capabilities between organizations to create new market value. Your role as an entrepreneur is to use what works for you to solve a "not-working" problem for someone else. Every transaction in the marketplace is ultimately about freeing someone else up to do more of what works for them. Today, we are delighted to welcome Marjie Hadad as our guest. Marjie is a PR expert who has spent the last 4 decades working in media and public relations in various countries. She currently assists private individuals and individual business owners. Marjie joins us today to share her insights and experience. Tune in to find out how to become more successful in your business and at home. Marjie's Journey Marjie has spent 40 years in media and public relations, working as a reporter, anchor, and producer, and she even won an Emmy Award. She later became an agent in the modeling industry before launching her PR career. For the past 25 years, she has run her own firm, working with clients globally and specializing in medical and venture capital. Speaking and Training Today, Marjie focuses on professional speaking and leadership training. Her work focuses on teaching individuals and companies to use communication and PR skills strategically to achieve their goals. Internal and External PR Marjie explains that PR applies internally and externally, and that success comes from clear, strategic communication on both levels. Internally, leaders must communicate a vision to inspire their teams. Externally, they should craft and share important messages with their target audience to build partnerships, launch products, or raise funds. Winning Clients Through Communication For small businesses, everything starts with the unmet needs of the client. Good communication begins with listening, then positioning your expertise as the solution. Your key messages should reflect how you want people to remember you after the conversation. Marjie recommends going beyond talk and showing your potential clients what you can deliver. Handling Social Media and Cancel Culture For adverse online reactions, Marjie advises people to remain positive and professional. She explains that every comment does not require a reply, and sometimes, the best move is to stay silent. If you do engage, keep it respectful and professional, addressing disrespect calmly, deleting toxic remarks, or inviting the person to continue the conversation privately. The key is to remain composed and protect your reputation while deciding which approach best fits the situation. Building Company Culture Constructive guidance, support, and recognition foster loyalty and performance. Leaders within organizations should rally their teams around a shared vision and show how their contributions matter. They should also view mistakes as learning opportunities rather than reasons to humiliate people. Utilizing her PR Skills Marjie has even applied PR strategies in her family life, which she detailed in her book, The Power of PR Parenting. She applied communication tools, such as crisis management, presentations, and constructive contracts, to raise her children into confident, resilient adults. Her mistakes became lessons, and she reinforced her expectations with agreements. Communication Across Generations When it comes to younger generations and technology, Marjie does not see texting as a threat but rather as another mode of communication with its own language. She stresses the importance of giving children real-life opportunities to practice social and communication skills so technology becomes an addition rather than a replacement for human interaction. Bio: Marjie Hadad Marjie Hadad has been in media and public relations for 40 years.
