We talk extensively about that battle between Leicester/Chelsea/Liverpool for those final two Champions League spots, and how those sides sit going into Match Week 38 this weekend! We recap Leicester's big win in the FA Cup, followed up by a loss to the same Chelsea side in the EPL on Tuesday, and Clayton and I ask questions of a Manchester United side that seem to be limping to the finish line! And speaking of finish lines, we take a deep dive into the Europa Cup final next Wednesday (5/26) where United will take on Villareal, plus we bounce around the EPL and look at the final week's story lines heading into Sunday! Barrett is on "cloud nine" for this one, as his Liverpool side stay alive in the race for Champions League football next season with a must-have victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier today! An entertaining, high-intensity, yet sloppy affair provided a life-line for Jurgen Klopp's men and we take a deep dive into the match while Clayton is off on yet another lavish vacation (probably)... We next turn to the FA Cup final this weekend between Chelsea and Leicester, and we make the argument that perhaps those two sides' EPL match on Tuesday (5/18) might be the bigger game given both sides' current position in the table (with Liverpool lurking right behind them)... It takes us 35 minutes, but we eventually congratulate Man City on clinching the EPL title, and we look ahead to the Championship's "Promotion Playoff", with local boy Daryl Dike leading Barnsley to a chance to play in the EPL next year! Oh, the glorious return of the UEFA Champions League, and to a lesser degree, the Europa League!! The guys are back to recap all "continental" matches and storylines that played out this week, including the fact that we may have seen Leo Messi's last home UCL match for Barca, and of course we talk about the performances of Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland!!! It was a good start to Manchester United's return to the Europa League knockout rounds, and the same goes for Jose Mourinho's Spurs, but Arsenal and Leicester City will have scraps in their respective 2nd legs... The boys finally get back to the EPL action, however, and although we're all in agreement that Manchester City will lift the trophy later this spring, there's still plenty to play for--and plenty of storylines to play out--for the other 19 clubs over the next 4 months!!!

It's cold outside, so probably best to stay in and listen to some hot footy talk with the guys! This week, we recap the FA Cup 5th Round and look ahead to some exciting quarterfinal draws scheduled now for mid-March, and we also celebrate the return of European Football, as the Champions League and Europa League start back with the knockout rounds next week!
