Matt Clark (MattClark_08) and Paco Polit (@pacopolitENG) are here to go over a phenomenal result and performance from Spain which left the press jubilant and firmly placing the national team as favourites for the World Cup next year.Without getting too far ahead of ourselves, we analyse a truly resounding victory for Luis de la Fuente's men, who tore the Turkish side apart. Mikel Merino enhanced his reputation further, scoring his first career hat-trick. Mercurial Pedri is becoming the most complete midfielder of his generation — a “generational talent” according to Paco. Martín Zubimendi is making it hard for Ballon d'Or winner Rodri to find his way back in the team, as absurd as that statement sounds. And Mikel Oyarzabal is making the false forward position his own with increasing consistency and confidence. We discuss the absence of a pure number nine in Spanish football (find out who Paco thinks is the closest), and evaluate who are untouchable in the lineup. Plus, the injury to Nico Williams could be a huge blow ahead of a crucial month for Athletic. Ernesto Valverde won't be happy, especially as he has also lost Yeray Álvarez until April after his doping ban was confirmed. We close with a brief round-up of the other international fixtures, with a former LaLiga player breaking his national team's scoring record among the headlines. You won't miss a thing when you subscribe and upgrade, including the bonus midweek podcast where we will look ahead to Matchday 4 in LaLiga. So, this show was well planned. We had a clear talking point to begin with, losing to Bournemouth and how frustrating it is and then JUST as we were about to look at fellow fan questions and talk about the transfer window.... DANIEL LEVY LEAVES! That's right, while we were recording, I think about 20 mins in... the news breaks that Daniel Levy has gone so on this show you get the very genuine and initial reaction from us to the news.. We hope you enjoy!

Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. Today is the CRAZIEST DAY IN ALWAYS BAYERN CHELSEA HISTORY. We have a dozy of an episode for you here at 119. The Champions League draw and schedule is finally out. Bayern Munich are facing off against Chelsea in the very first UCL matchup on 9/17/25. We will be streaming that one for all to enjoy. There have already been so many twists and turns in the Nicolas Jackson transfer saga. Will Chelsea and Bayern be able to strike a deal? AND we had two matches today. Chelsea beat Fulham 2-0 in the English Premier League while Bayern Munich beat FC Augsburg 3-2 in the Bundesliga. We kick things off in this one by recapping the insane UCL draw and schedule. We briefly preview the big match between Chelsea and Bayern at the Allianz Arena and we talk about our plans to stream the match before talking about the rest of the UCL schedule. The news will not stop today as at the original time of recording a loan move for Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson was announced to Bayern Munich. Since then it was announced that Chelsea was going back on their word and is begging the exiled player to come back to London after he was undergoing medical testing in Munich. We cover it ALL here. And on to the weekends matches. We start our breakdown by discussing Chelsea's controversial 2-0 win over Fulham. Another London derby. We review this entire match from Enzo Maresca's tactics & lineup to player performances to match highlights to all of the controversy and refereeing decisions. In the 23rd minute we saw a Fulham goal canceled by a question VAR intervention determining a questionable foul in the leadup. Joao Pedro then scored for Chelsea assisted by Enzo Fernandez before Enzo Fernandez was awarded a penalty by VAR after discovering a handball that was not called originally on the pitch. Next up for Chelsea after the international break is Brentford in the EPL before Bayern Munich in the UCL. Finally, Danny jumps on to give a thorough breakdown on Bayern Munich's insane 3-2 win over Augsburg in the Bundesliga. Vincent Kompany's squad came out dominating once again going up 3-2 before conceding 2 unanswered goals, missing countless chances, and letting the match devolve into utter chaos. Danny reviews all of the tactics from Kompany/Wagner, lineups, player performances, match highlights, scoring, substitutions, and even match awards. Serge Gnabry opened up the scoring before Luis Diaz and Michael Olise got in on the action. Harry Kane provided 2 assists in his 100th match for the club and Konrad Laimer provided an assist as well. Bayern Munich plays Hamburg next in the Bundesliga and then Chelsea in the UCL. Big things are ahead after this International Break! What a week in the Premier League, so much action to discuss, this could be a long stream - strap in folks! Loads of FPL discussion to be hard too, with Joao Pedro owners happy with the points, but not with Enzo taking the penalty. Bruno scores his this week, to the delight of his owners, but leaves it late. Liverpool edge pass Arsenal with a rocket from Szoboszlai and West Ham cause an upset at Forest, in a result no-one saw coming! **Sorry for the disruption on tonight's Pod - Sam's ok, but really felt very unwell during the live stream. She's told me it definitely wasn't because we were about to talk about Spurs!*** Phew! Take a breath. It's time for an International Break. Join Josh and Brandon as we recap the highs and lows of GW29, including Josh's Free Hit chip results. Plus, we touch on the League Cup win for Newcastle, what this means for Liverpool's fantasy prospects for the run-in, and how we're approaching the upcoming break for international fixtures and the FA Cup quarterfinals. Then it's time to revisit our beloved feature: Kings of the Gameweek! Looking at the top scorers in GW21–29, we assess what patterns we can discern from the teams, players, and positions that appear in the Fantasy Premier League's often overlooked "team of the week."
