We just cannot catch a planning break this season and sickness forces us to record remotely again. Luckily for you, there's so much controversy surrounding the weekend, and we aren't just talking about the Liverpool Spurs game. Pep loses two on the bounce, United set a crazy number of negative records, Newcastle whollops PSG in the Champion's League, and Luton get their first EPL win in their club's history. Catch your breath, open a 16 ozer, and get ready for all that, PLUS the VAR rant and controversy which leaves a 9 man Liverpool feeling robbed. Also tune in to find out if Chelsea may have spread a living man's ashes on their penalty spot, and just how many Chelsea FC links their are to Auschwitz.

Joe Devine, Jon Mackenzie and Reuben Pinder are here to talk about some football. We talk about the potential sackings of Javi Gracia and Victor Orta at Leeds United. At the time of recording Sam Allardyce has been linked with the Elland Road hot seat so the chaps discuss what that would look like… Staying at the bottom of the table we talk about Leicester City drawing 2-2 with Everton and the wider relegation battle. It was a very “goally” weekend with two 4-3 results, one of which was Liverpool winning 4-3 against Tottenham. A game which exposed the deep, deep flaws in both of these teams. We also whizz through Man Utd Aston Villa and the Serie A table at a depth which is wholly inadequate. Plus volcanic eruptions and Stonehenge… Tickets for the PENULTIMATE Tifo Football podcast live show can be bought at this link - https://www.leicestersquaretheatre.com/tifo-football-live/ This episode of the Tifo football podcast is presented by Joe Devine and produced by Steve Hankey. The relegation picture is starting to get a little clearer, but Ali and Fergal *still* have very different opinions on who's going down. This episode (recorded before Everton's 2-2 draw with Leicester) starts with a relegation battle debate using current records and remaining fixtures, then Harry joins for the obligatory Liverpool-Spurs review and the equally obligatory (but for very different reasons) Arsenal talk after their 4-1 domination at the hands of now-champions-elect Manchester City. The Serie A top 4 race has never been closer, and the Bundesliga might have been decided by the most egregious, outrageous refereeing decision in years. JAFP on Apple Podcasts

Welcome back to another episode of BoxToBox Podcast, with your hosts Dimeji, GM & JK! Aston Villa 2-2 Man Utd - Rangnick is not
Kiran hosts (and totally forgets to introduce himself) as we start off with the Champions League draw...and the redraw. A Super League storyline emerges as P$G draw an ironically angry Real Madrid. Man United draw Ateltico as Pranav waffles over which team he could possibly root for. Chelsea draw Lille both times, proving they rigged everything and everything is controlled by Daddy Abramovich. Liverpool who've played in the champions league and the European Cup for a billion years make their second trip to the San Siro in like 3 months after somehow never having been there before. The Europa League draw pits BarceLOLna against Napoli which is extremely unfortunate but also really, really funny. Premier League action sees Man City win (omg wowee) and Chelsea drop points to Wolves. Arsenal's youngsters peed on Leeds which brings up questions about everyone's favorite guy on a bucket. Liverpool's trip to North London ends in... well literally everything except for a red card for England's Golden Boy, an awarded penalty, and Paul Tierney's sacking. This episode features a special segment called "Pranav says the same thing 42 times as he talks about the Liverpool-Spurs clash because what the heck was that"--5 star segment. Highly recommend. Roma trounce Atalanta extremely convincingly for some reason despite them already spiritually being in the middle of Jose's third season in charge. There are some predictions made too but I'm really hungry so I'm gonna stop writing and you're gonna have to listen to figure out what else has been thrown in there.
In this episode, we talk about VAR inconsistencies during the gameweek. Liverpool Spurs and Wolves Chelsea. Titbits on Arsenal, bonus. Also, are City running away with the title?
Special guests Jeff and Evan join this family affair of an episode to discuss their teams, Liverpool and Tottenham. But first, we talk about the international break COVID drama, Cristiano Ronaldo's brace on his return to Old Trafford, Harvey Elliot's gruesome injury, City's win over Leicester, and Nuno's blunder at Crystal Palace.
There's no such thing as January blues at Manchester City as Pep Guardiola's side win nine out of nine, helped by the wall that is Ruben Dias. Has his impact been bigger than Virgil van Dijk's at Liverpool? In the latest Pitch to Post Review show, Jasper Taylor is joined by Kate Burlaga and Gerard Brand to discuss just that, as well as another goalless draw for Manchester United against a so-called big six side (20:05). Is their title tilt over before it began? And what is success for Arsenal this season? In part three we focus on Newcastle after their shock 2-0 win at Everton (33:39), masterminded by Graeme, sorry, Steve, erm... well, we figure out exactly who deserves the credit. And in part four we look back on a good week for Liverpool and a bad week for Jose Mourinho's Spurs (43:51), plus the performers, performances and goals of the week.

The Worms are back to discuss another weekend of Premier League ball, as well as the usual L of the week and also the Champions League last 16 fixtures as well as the Europa League last 32 ties. Biggest shock of the week came at The Emirates, as Burnley walked away with all three points after an Aubameyang own goal in the second-half, not long after going down to 10 men thanks to Granit Xhaka trying to strangle Ashley Westwood. Liverpool & Spurs both drew 1-1 in their games on Sunday, Palace came from a goal down to earn a point against Spurs, whilst Liverpool scraped a point against, impressive looking Fulham, to also earn a one all draw. Southampton cruised to a 3-0 win over, an all but doomed, Sheffield United side. Chelsea fall to their first defeat in 14 away to Everton. Briglet joins the show to discuss where its all going wrong for Chris Hughton's Forest, as they slump to yet another defeat, making it no wins in 7 and much much more
Robbie Mustoe and Robbie Earle recap Match Week 12 in the Premier League focusing on the following:Arsenal's concerning loss at home to Burnley and how Mikel Arteta addresses this ongoing slump (0:40)The scoreless Manchester Derby and why United and City were so disappointing (16:00)Liverpool's 1-1 draw at Fulham (24:30)Tottenham's 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace (33:15)A preview of Liverpool-Spurs (42:45)Everton's impressive win over Chelsea and concerns over Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic (45:10)And a round up of the remaining results focusing on Sheffield United's miserable start (53:10)

The Worms are back to discuss the madness that occurred, over the weekend in the Premier League. Guk, Fatz, Paul, Briglet and Harry are joined by Arsenal fan, Damo, this week. Also, a phone call from Storm to have his say on the weekend fixtures. Chelsea kicked off the weekend with a comfortable 4-0 win over crystal palace, with a debut goal for left back, Ben Chilwell. Everton, scoring for fun, put four past brighton to keep their 100% record intact, with a brace from summer signing, James Rodriguez. Leeds and City played out one of the games of the season in the 17:30 kick off, sterling opened the scoring with a lovely finish from the edge of the box, to give the visitors a 1-0 lead at half-time, but a blunder from City keeper, Ederson, which led to Rodrigo's equalizer on the 59th minute, resulting in a 1-1 draw. West Ham made it back to back wins in the Prem, with a 3-0 win over the foxes in the early kick off on Sunday. Spurs went home from Old Trafford with 3 points after dismantling Utd, Utd took the lead after 2 minutes from the penalty spot, but by half time Spurs were 4-1 after some questionable defending. Martial was sent off on the 28th minute after slapping Lamela. Spurs increased their lead shortly after the break, and by the 80th minute spurs made it six. Aston Villa gave Liverpool a humbling at Villa Park, smashing the champions 7-2, yes, SEVEN TWO. A mistake by back-up GK, Adrian, gave villa the early lead, a Ollie Watkins first half Hat-trick put Liverpool out of sight, Liverpool's high line was an issue throughout and Villa exploited it brilliantly. Grealish scored a brace in the second-half and Ross Barkley chipped in on his debut to settle the result and lots lots more

It's practically the humiliation episode of World Football Talk as we start off with Thomas butchering basically the entire match report of Liverpool-Spurs. We then go over the various humiliations involving Raheem Sterling, Christian Benteke, Antonio Conte, Tiemoue Bakayoko and more. The biggest moments of the Premier League weekend are covered as we move on to the best goals of the weekend (and potentially Puskas contenders) as Wanyama, Suso, Danilo, Lemina and Mo Salah all had fantastic goals this weekend. We round it off with a very special edition of Dear God What Have You Done featuring a very amazing German Cup Quarter Final. Leave us a rating on iTunes and connect with us @WFT_Podcast on Twitter for more from Thomas and Ryan. Big shout out to The Understatement for letting us use their song "Apothecary" for our intro and outro. Be sure to check them out on Bandcamp (theunderstatementnj.bandcamp.com/track/apothecary), YouTube (www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEaEwscwbHE) and SoundCloud (@user-217504843).
Sam, Peter, Danny & Marissa are back to discuss a huge week in the Premier League. Conte demands respect & then immediately loses all hope of getting it. Pep takes the piss. Arsenal look good but Big Sam looks very very bad. Pogba gets taken apart. Where are the captains gone?A Quiz & oh yeah, apparently Liverpool & Spurs had a game too. Robbie Mustoe & Robbie Earle on Chelsea's 4-0 victory over Manchester United. After leading the Blues to three Premier League titles over the course of two stints at Chelsea, it was a nightmare return to Stamford Bridge for Jose Mourinho who suffered his worst defeat as a manager in the Premier League. The gents discuss how both Chelsea and Manchester United's title credentials have changed after their performance and wonder what did the Special One whisper into Antonio Conte's ear at the final whistle? Plus, reaction to another draw for Manchester City as they had to come from behind at the Etihad Stadium to rescue a point against Southampton thanks to a goal from 2nd-half sub Kelechi Iheanacho. The chaps end with a preview of the intriguing midweek EFL Cup matches including the Manchester Derby and Liverpool-Spurs.
