Trade with GeoffDid Fanatics Fest just eat the National's lunch? Welcome back to Cards on the Table, coming to you straight from the Arena Club Studio inside Cards HQ!Today, we are unpacking the absolute madness of Fanatics Fest. With a staggering 200,000 attendees this year (up from 70,000 in year one!), an $80-$90 million production budget, and nonstop mainstream media coverage from ESPN to ABC World News Tonight, Fanatics Fest just changed the hobby forever. But with The National kicking off in just a few days, we debate whether Fanatics stole all the hype or if the expanded National show floor and sold-out VIP tickets prove there is room for both mega-events. Plus, the highly anticipated 2026 Topps Chrome Baseball has finally dropped, and the new Back-to-Back MVP Gold Logoman dual relics are breaking the internet. Will the Shohei Ohtani dual-patch, dual-auto (featuring both English and Kanji signatures) break the $3 million record set last year? We break down why Topps is currently making the best insert designs in a decade. Finally, the 2026 World Cup has officially come to a close. We analyze the market fallout: Why is Lamine Yamal's market dipping despite winning the Cup? How did Erling Haaland become the biggest hobby winner of the tournament? Chalene Johnson breaks down the Instagram AI feature that had the internet in a panic last week, why deepfake scammers are now stealing real videos and subtly altering someone's voice and appearance to make fake endorsements look real, and what to watch for so you don't get fooled. She also shares a new survey showing that a large percentage of perimenopausal and menopausal women have no idea what stage of reproduction they're in, and explains why she's been getting stronger and leaner using a hormone marker called sex hormone binding globulin, or SHBG, something most doctors won't test unless you specifically request it. She recommends Midi Health for anyone who wants a full hormone panel done right. Chalene gives a quick update on the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni legal saga, including the ongoing dispute over $8 million in legal fees, then moves into the difference between Botox, Juvederm, and Sculptra, her own experience with Sculptra after her facelift, and a new lawsuit against Juvederm maker AbbVie. She closes with a passionate defense of Madonna following her World Cup halftime performance, walking through Madonna's decades of reinvention, her physical training history, and why Chalene believes the ageism criticism aimed at her is completely out of line. They hit the Mariners' 100-game .500 mark, reminisce about the Big Red Machine, then shift to the World Cup, where both stayed hooked long after Team USA's exit. Mitch and Scott rave about teenage phenom Lamine Yamal, poke fun at FIFA's halftime show, preview Seahawks camp, Ryan Fox's British Open win, and Bryson DeChambeau's penalty. Ray Roberts and Mitch discuss Seattle's new ownership, why the defending Super Bowl champs still seem overlooked, and what the Seahawks gained—and lost—this offseason. Mitch, Joe Doyle, and Brady Farkas break down another uneven Mariners series as Seattle reaches the 100-game mark at 50-50. They argue Dan Wilson has become an unfair scapegoat for a flawed roster, praise Cole Young's continued rise, and discuss Julio Rodríguez's return, Colt Emerson's progress, and looming roster decisions. Mitch welcomes three beat reporters who know the Mariners' top draft picks better than anyone. Erling Haaland eats six meals and roughly 6,000 calories every day to fuel his extraordinary performance on the soccer field. But should anyone else be eating like him? Haaland's highly publicized routine includes raw milk, beef liver, cow heart, steak, eggs, fish, pasta, vegetables, and honey. In this episode of The Exam Room Podcast, Dr. Neal Barnard joins "The Weight Loss Champion" Chuck Carroll to examine whether the foods powering one of the world's greatest athletes could create serious health risks for the average person. Dr. Barnard explores the immediate food-safety concerns surrounding raw milk and the potential problems associated with regularly consuming organ meats. Could highly concentrated amounts of dietary cholesterol, heme iron, vitamin A, and copper become too much of a good thing?

What if everything Americans believe about youth sports is backwards? Michael Smerconish talks with Wall Street Journal columnist Ben Cohen about Norway's remarkably successful approach to developing young athletes—a system built on fun, participation, delayed specialization, and minimal parental pressure. Inspired by the hometown of soccer superstar Erling Haaland, they explore why Norway is producing elite talent while keeping kids engaged, and whether America's billion-dollar youth sports culture has lost its way. Michael also reflects on why he's changed his own views about participation trophies, competition, and what youth sports should really be about. Original air date 13 July 2026. We are back with another packed episode of Pop Culture Mondays on Thursdays, and this week we are diving headfirst into everything from sports obsession to internet chaos. First up, we are talking about soccer. The world is officially united under the beautiful game, and we need to discuss our collective obsession with Erling Haaland, his incredible bromance with Jude Bellingham, and how the sport is truly bringing everyone together right now. Then, we transition to a different kind of athletic endeavor: Hyrox. It is the fitness obsession taking over the globe, and we are breaking down why absolutely everyone is suddenly obsessed with running and burpees. Next, we shift gears to politics and the internet rumor mill. The shocking, sudden passing of Senator Lindsey Graham has unleashed a wave of conspiracy theories that feel almost too on the nose to ignore, while sparking some very specific celebrations across the internet and the gay community. Finally, we wrap things up with a little candy: the viral mystery of the Zara death trousers and Gen Z's never-ending obsession with the latest season of Love Island. In this electric live reaction episode of The Cooligans, Christian Polanco and Alexis Guerreros broadcast straight from Dallas, Texas, to break down Spain's masterclass 2-0 victory over France in the World Cup semifinals. The guys dissect an astonishingly clinical Spanish performance that completely neutralized the French powerhouse, restricting them to zero shots on target in the first half and a measly 0.3 XG over the entire match. They evaluate the major fallout of the result, including the end of Didier Deschamps' historic cycle as France manager, a devastating non-contact back injury to William Saliba, and how Lamine Yamal's unassuming brilliance consistently unhinged France's defense. Arsenal and England legend Ian Wright joins the show to share his emotional experiences traveling across America during the tournament and running his grassroots Airbnb training experiences. Wrighty delivers pure entertainment as he recounts a hilarious story of accidentally headbutting a broadcast trailer wall while passionately watching Arsenal. Transitioning to elite tactical analysis, the legendary forward provides an invaluable striker clinic for USMNT's Folarin Balogun, laying out the exact micro-adjustments needed to take fewer touches, tighten up movement inside the box, and reach a world-class international status. He also weighs in on the controversy surrounding Erling Haaland's disallowed goal for Norway and fiercely defends Jude Bellingham from out-of-context post-match media spin. Finally, the hosts pivot to the remaining blockbuster semifinal fixture: a highly anticipated, historically charged showdown between England and Argentina. Christian and Alexis debate England's heavy reliance on Bellingham and Harry Kane, look at how Tottenham's Cristian "Cuti" Romero transforms into an absolute beast when wearing his national team colors, and analyze whether Enzo Fernández can control the tempo of the midfield. The episode wraps up with official score predictions, debating whether Lionel Messi's veteran squad will succumb to exhaustion or if the Three Lions will march into the final. In this episode, I'm diving into my unexpected journey through the World Cup. I talk about the heartbreak of both the United States and Norway being knocked out, and how watching the tournament made me realize that soccer (or football, depending on where you're from) has a lot more in common with water polo than I ever expected. For years, the only soccer stars I really knew were Beckham, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, mostly because of the elementary school kids I used to work with. Back then, Ronaldo was always considered the greatest. Fast forward to today, and even my 8 year old daughter still talks about how amazing Ronaldo is. Meanwhile, I first learned about Erling Haaland through social media and found myself eager to watch him play. All of this led to my husband becoming completely invested in the final rounds of the World Cup, turning what should have been a casual viewing experience into an intense but surprisingly fun family event.I also explore one of my favorite parenting "what if" scenarios: What if parents could use soccer's yellow and red card system? Imagine a mom pulling out a yellow card at a playdate as a warning, or a red card that means a child has to leave early and misses the next playdate altogether. It could be a game changer. We also talk about sportsmanship, why players like Erling Haaland set a great example for kids, and how Team USA made history by successfully overturning a red card decision during the tournament. As for my own kids? They've managed to make it through the summer card-free. No yellow cards. No red cards. Just a surprisingly blemish-free summer... so far.#ErlingHaaland #Ronaldo #WorldCup #Soccer #ParentingPodcast #MomLife #SportsParenting #PlaydateProblems #FamilyPodcast #ShhhMyKidsAreAsleep
