Welcome back to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. Episode 82 is a VIDEO episode that you can check out on the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to stay up to date with all of the latest. In this one we break down everything from Chelsea's 3-0 win over Legia Warszawa in the UEFA Conference League Quarterfinal first leg, to a wild 2-2 Der Klassiker between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, to Chelsea's embarrassing 2-2 draw with Ipswich town in the English Premiere League, to all sorts of previews for upcoming UCL European & domestic matches, to a live reaction of the Masters golf tournament. This episode truly has it all. We kick things off with a brief overview of Chelsea beating Legia. We talk about some of Enzo Maresca's tactics, lineup choices, player performances, and of course match highlights. Some influential sub choices were made as Noni Madueke scored a brace, along with Tyrique George getting a goal and Jadon Sancho providing two assists. Chelsea returns to Stamford Bridge for the second leg of this Conference League tie on Thursday 4/17. It may be Conference League or bust for Chelsea this season. Later in the episode we also hit on Chelsea's 2-2 draw against Ipswich town after going down 0-2 to start the match. Jadon Sancho was the hero with a goal assisted by goal Palmer after an own goal by Ipswich. We discuss lineups, tactics, player performances, match highlights, and the state of the team at the moment, as well as Chelsea's future this season. Is Enzo to blame for their struggles? Which players are at fault? Chelsea now has an Easter matchup with Fulham on 4/20 in the EPL. This episode also includes a full breakdown of the rollercoaster Der Klasskier between Bayern and Dortmund this weekend as well. We hit on Thomas Muller's lights out performance in his final Der Klassiker with Bayern providing an assist along with Josip Stanisic. Raphael Guerreiro and Serge Gnabry got the goals for Bayern. We saw another match where the Bavarians failed to capitalize on their chances before collapsing defensively. It wasn't total frustration though, we review Vincent Kompany's lineup/tactics, as well as player performances, match highlights, and match awards. Bayern Munich has a lot on their plates heading to Italy to face off with Inter Milan in a do or die Champions League Quarterfinal. We preview that match and what needs to happen to secure a comeback win as the Bavarians head in down 1-2. We also talk Bundesliga where Bayern remains 6 points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen in the table with 5 match days remaining. We're hoping Bayern doesn't join the list of choking teams we support as they head to Heidenheim on 4/19. Subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay updated! Thanks for listening/watching. In this one we discuss the weekend goal-fests including Bayern Munich's 4-2 victory over Heidenheim in the Bundesliga as well as Chelsea's 4-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premiere League. Kicking things off with Bayern's bizarre 4-2 win we break down lineups, coaching tactics, match highlights, individual player performances for this match. Scoring was opened up by Dayot Upamecano off of a corner from Joshua Kimmich. Jamal Musiala came in the second half and scored two goals, assisted by Michael Olise and Raphael Guerreiro. Leon Goretzka also got a goal in this one assisted by Leroy Sane. We end this discussing by handing out match awards, and looking at where Bayern Munich goes from here with all of their new injuries as they head off to face Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League midweek. Chelsea had another exciting match this weekend beating Spurs 4-3. We look at all the rollercoaster match highlights, lineups, tactics, and individual player performances in this one as well. Chelsea overcame an early 2 goal deficit with goals from Jadon Sancho, Cole Palmer, and Enzo Fernandez. We saw Marc Cucurella, at fault for both of the early spurs goals, get an assist in this one. Welcome to the Always Bayern Chelsea show for the 52nd addition of the program. In this one we breakdown Bayern Munich's bizarre 0-1 loss to Bayer Leverkusen in the DFB Pokal Round of 16 and Chelsea's awesome 5-1 thrashing of Southhampton in the English Premiere League. We kick off the show by reviewing another early and gut-wrenching German Cup loss for the Bavarians. We discuss everything from Vincent Kompany and Xabi Alonso's coaching tactics, lineups, player performances, officiating, and yes match highlights including Manuel Neuer's perplexing ill-timed challenge and subsequent red card that altered the match as well as Bayern's spirited effort to claw their way back into the match. We even try to hand out weak match awards for this one. The lone goal of the match came from Leverkusen's Nathan Tella with an assist from Alejandro Grimaldo. So where does Bayern go from here? First things first, a battle with Heidenheim on 12/7 and then to fae off against Shakhtar in the Champions League on 12/10. We brighten up the mood by breaking down Chelsea crushing Southhampton 5-1. We look into Enzo Maresca's coaching tactics, lineups, player performances, and all the highlights from the match. As always we award match awards for this one as well. Chelsea's goals were scored by Axel Disasi, Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer, and Jadon Sancho. Assists were dished out by Enzo Fernandez, Noni, Joao Felix, Cristo, and Malo Gusto. Chelsea looks to carry this moment ahead to their matches against Tottenham in the EPL and Astana in the Conference league. Subscribe to the YouTube channel for more! It's time for The Truth!Sam Tighe and Dougie Critchley sit down to discuss the hottest topic in the world of football right now - whether Chelsea's transfer strategy is a 4D Chess plan that will leave others in the dust, or a chaotic playground of excess that's destined to struggle for some time. Chelsea's additions of João Felix, Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto, Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Filip Jorgensen, amid others - caused some consternation on social media; whilst their outgoings of Conor Gallagher, Ian Maatsen, Thiago Silva and Lewis Hall depleted the squad further of homegrown talent and valuable experience. It led to a bit of an online firestorm regarding what Chelsea were up to under Todd Boehly and Clearlake, and whether the soul of the club was being traded in to allow for a blitzkrieg transfer policy to remain in operation. Is the whole thing a disaster, or could it be that Chelsea are just a few steps ahead of the rest? The Truth is somewhere in the middle... Hosts: Sam Tighe & Dougie CritchleyProduction & Editing: Jack Collins Studio Recording: Footwork Media And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?
