Here, Have a Poison - This is a story about misunderstandings and straight up forcefulness. Hurry Up Already! - We could use so many old sayings to describe this story like “Patience is a virtue” or “Curiosity killed the cat”, but the one that fits best is that old saying we all know and live by. “Don’t yell at the fighters who are carrying a heavy chest through goo.” Theme Song by Joseph Gregory Music: https://www.purple-planet.com/ Sound effects from https://www.zapsplat.com

Today's topic is all about the term, "bossy."Why we hate that term "bossy," why we are afraid of being called bossy and what we sometimes do so that we don't end up being labeled as bossy and how that can affect our leadership and just our view of ourselves as women and the way that we view other women, etc.So it's a pretty loaded word. I'm sure that any experiences that you've had with it probably haven't been positive. That seems to be pretty clear across the board. It's a negative word, it's usually meant to offend or meant to degrade women's abilities, or used in a competitive way."Bossy" is a term that often women use against each other, or they use to call each other bossy when maybe they feel threatened or they feel like their femininity is being undermined by the actions that another woman is taking. Why does this create such an issue? Let's discuss in this week's episode of Feminine Foresight! You can find show notes here: https://jenniferspoelma.com/podcast-feed/medieval-queen-inspiration
