*TRIGGER WARNING: If your mental health is not in a space to handle talks about COVID-19, the Delta Variant putting children in the hospital, debate about anti-vax/anti-mask. or anything health related, please skip this episode or tune in at a later time. COVID-19 has divided families, broken friendships, ended marriages, and caused enormous amounts of trauma for so many of us. But, one thing we can all agree on is that parenting during this pandemic is challenging (understatement of the century). It can feel impossible to make the "right" decisions, and like no matter what we do, we are either risking our children's health or their childhood. It is unfair that we have to make these decisions, and can be very isolating. In this episode I am joined by the strong, brave, and vulnerable mama - Shamire Crummie- for a very open conversation about the struggles of navigating this pandemic as a mother. Shamire has a bachelors degree in Public Relations, a Master's degree in Social Work, and has been a stay at home mom for 3 years after her son was born at 26 weeks and was in the NICU for 133 days. We talk about the lack of consideration for our children from the CDC's guidelines and fellow Americans, why the Delta Variant is so scary for parents, and how to handle our feelings of anger, fear, and isolation when it seems we cannot catch a break. Shamire opens up about her personal experiences with keeping her family safe during COVID, how to handle strange looks when being careful and masking up, and how she is able to find joy and take the time for self care. The pandemic isn't, and never was, over for us parents. This episode provides an opportunity for other mamas to relate, feel heard, and be reminded that you are not alone. Tune in for advice, support. and resources that can help any mamas struggling through this time. If you are struggling with feelings of isolation, overwhelm, fear, or anything else related to your children's health and safety during this time, please don't hesitate to reach out to myself or Shamire for support. We are not Drs and cannot offers medical advice, but we are happy to continue the conversation and offer a safe place to let it out. Unfortunately, that's not how success works. Success is not about constant innovation and change- the next big thing. It is about consistency, it's about repeating the same actions over and over again until success becomes invadable.

Allison believes social media should be fun and easy, not daunting. With her sassy and fun personality, mixed with her creativity and love for sweatpants and coffee, she's able to deliver simple and creative tools that help Mompreneurs boost their business with confidence and ease. BUSINESS BUILDING INSIGHTS If you want to grow your brand, you have to be your authentic self. Get crystal clear on why you're on Instagram (or any social media platform). It could be to build brand awareness, build community, or drive traffic to your website. Stick with one Instagram account so it's so much easier to manage. We're talking real life today. Tori had a beautiful client she had worked with in the past, come to her recently and say "Tori, my business is a complete shit show". Tori said "that's fine, we can work with that" and she was like "no, no it's a disaster!" Tori responded, "that's fine, you are not the first person to come to me with a complete shit show of a business". Tori is here for the chaos, the confusion, when you don't know what to do next. Sure, some clients come to her that need to grow or go to the next level of business. But they aren't going to her because they know how to get to the next level, they are coming because they need the push, direction, accountability.
