We've been waiting to review these films since before we even began the podcast. In this episode we finally get around to looking the first film in Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy. The common notion on the internet seems to be that "the Hobbit movies suck!". We completely disagree, not only do we believe these to be good films, we believe the they are very faithful to Tolkien's books and mythology. Whether you already love these movies, or can't stand the sight of them, we hope you will listen and come away with a deeper respect and appreciation for this series.   Recent Films: James: Rogue One 2:20, Alien 3:45, District 9 3:45, Ex Machina 7:05, Dark City 9:40 Gabriel: La La Land 13:28, Fences 16:05, Passengers 17:15, Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides 18:20   Main Review 21:56     Please subscribe, rate and review us on iTunes https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/underrated/id1145136119?mt=2 Like us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/underratedpodcast/?fref=ts Follow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/Underrated_Pod Visit our Website for past episodes https://underratedpodcast.com/

The latest installment of Disney's most lucrative franchise, "Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides," is a bit of a mess. Frankly, so are we. After nine months off, we're a bit rusty, a bit punchy, but still eager to get back to podcasting. This episode is a beta test of a new format, switching from longer shows a few times a month to shorter, simpler episodes a few times a week. Will it work? Only time and our listeners will tell. So do tell what you think, but please be gentle. It gets better. Probably.
