If you can conceive the plot of this movie, Pirates of Ghost Island depicts a group of friends celebrating a graduation party on a cruise who after a storm become unexpectedly stranded on an island that has been run by pirates for the past 200 years. These pirates are certainly ghoulish. This movie was one of the first movies that Bryan, Shane, and Mike watched together when they started watch low budget horror movies and has a special place in their hearts. While nonsensical, there is a certain pleasure they take in watching movies like this and trying to make sense of them. “General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends.”Kicking off our Christmas series of films, Trevor brings in one of his favorite Christmas and romantic comedies, the insanely stacked, star studded 2003 English classic, Love Actually.

Deb Munro: Teenage runaway to Pirates of the Carribean! Part 2 of 3 on LovethatVoiceover From being a teen runaway who was anti-“book smart” to becoming a teacher, loving psychology, from voicing on ‘Pirates of the Carribean' game to being the voice of the Faroe Islands… Hear Deb tell us how it all happened… As we pick up, Deb tells me how a casting person was fearful to tell her the truth, which motivated Deb to not only educate herself but fully embrace coaching and brutal honesty toward talent! Deb also recognized that each person responds to different types of communication, and she uses her own understanding of that psychology to express the truth to talent about how they can improve their personal VO signature brand. She never meant to coach! She was just helping friends for free. Then, Deb tells us how Vancouver's market changed and how she continuously adapts… She has voiced the animation in Dragon Ball series and Benjamin the Elephant to commercials for Ford and Car Canada to the sultry narration of True Pulp Murder... And inside the story of the video game PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN by Disney! Deb is also having fun doing VO for worldwide clients, including being the voice of the Faroe Islands. The latest installment of Disney's most lucrative franchise, "Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides," is a bit of a mess. Frankly, so are we. After nine months off, we're a bit rusty, a bit punchy, but still eager to get back to podcasting. This episode is a beta test of a new format, switching from longer shows a few times a month to shorter, simpler episodes a few times a week. Will it work? Only time and our listeners will tell. So do tell what you think, but please be gentle. It gets better. Probably.

Here it is folks a little late but jammed packed with podcasting goodness for this week. This time around I have a sea-faring theme as we feature a audio book review of Dark Harbor by Stuart Woods and two guests on the podcast. First up is my friend and co-worker Fred Vselovsky who took part in Dragon Boat Race for Cancer research and my friend Rob as we review the movie Pirates of Carribean : Dead Man's Chest and talk on how we would improve the film and future pirate franchise. As usual your comments and suggesitons are always welcome.
