We saw a very quiet week come to an end on Friday with slightly lower corn and bean trade and slightly higher wheat trade. Amid the talk of the upcoming USDA reports and tariffs, it doesn't seem like we have much weather premium in the markets. That's one of many topics we discuss with DuWayne Bosse from Bolt Marketing on today's show. More at https://www.boltmarketingllc.com. Also, how concerned should farmers truly be about tariffs and the April 2nd date being widely talked about? We get some thoughts on this and why farmers should not be worried with Josh Hayes from Hedge Plus. More at https://www.hedge-plus.com.
We saw a solid rebound in the grain and livestock markets on Wednesday as rumors seem to indicate that some of the tariff fears could subside in short order while we also had some bounce from oversold conditions. Also, we listen to our Midday Commentary from Wednesday with an update and thoughts on grains, crude oil and fertilizer markets with Mike Castle from StoneX in Segment One. Thanks to pressure in equities, energies and metals on Friday we saw a "risk-off" day across the board to end the week. We tried to hold some key moving averages (Dec corn in particular) but overall it was a sour end to what was an otherwise solid week. We discuss the market action and get into the topic of whether or not breakeven is ok this year with DuWayne Bosse from Bolt Marketing. Learn more at https://www.boltmarketingllc.com.

We bid adieu to Summer by basking in the autumnal glow of one of our favorite Fall movies: Little Giants (1994). Nearly thirty years after its release, this baby still holds up, so we figured we'd chat with the man responsible for this underdog classic: director/editor extraordinaire, Duwayne Dunham. If you're not familiar, this guy's the stuff of legend. Besides hitch-hiking across the country to charm his way onto the set of Jaws (1975), Duwayne got his start as an assistant editor on One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975), Star Wars (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) before getting hired as lead editor of Return of the Jedi (1983) and Blue Velvet (1986). He went on to edit David Lynch's serial drama, Twin Peaks (1990-91), and the 2017 limited series, Twin Peaks: The Return, which earned him a Primetime Emmy Award and two nominations. Duwayne's directorial credits include Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (1993), Little Giants (1994), Halloweentown (1998), as well as the upcoming film The Happy Worker. If Janusz Kaminski's use of Kodachrome in Little Giants doesn't get you excited for Fall, fear not; we call our Mom for an unexpected helping of stew appreciation.
