Listen for cameo appearances from Erin Klein, Felix Jacomino, and photographer Wes Fryer. A nice short conversation with Adam that's worth your time.

Classroom 2.0 LIVE webinar, Feb. 22, 2014 presented by Felix Jacomino. We were so excited to be joined by Felix Jacomino as our special guest presenter to hear about his experience and leadership with integrating technology in his 1:1 iPad initiative at St. Stephen's Episcopal Day School in Coconut Grove, Florida. http://www.sseds.org/ He is also the creator and host of Miami Device, a mobile learning event presented by his school in November of 2014. http://miamidevice.org/ Technology used to be synonymous with a stand-alone computer, in a lab, with a schedule for students to go and learn about its parts, history, and use them at the lowest level of the SAMR model. Today, we're starting to leave 1:1 behind and talking X:1 because of ubiquitous presence of mobile devices in every part of our lives. Just because we have a lot of devices though, does not mean they are used the best ways possible. And sometimes, that can mean putting them aside. Effective, ongoing, and quality professional development is the key to an environment where students are empowered by enthusiastic teachers who are mentors and well-aware of the endless ways these tools can be leveraged to best meet each student's goals.
