Dylan Kane is a 5th grade teacher at Lake County Elementary School in Leadville, Colorado. He previously taught middle school and high school math. Discussions about AI in education are moving beyond academic integrity, critical thinking, and the question of whether AI is a gift or a curse to humanity.  Among the most interesting emerging conversations is the idea that the single most important factor determining the future of AI in education is trust.  In this month's meet-up, the founders of SAMR, TPACK, SETI, Triple E, and the Gen AI-U tech integration frameworks explore two pivotal questions about AI in education: What can you trust, and who do you trust?  The discussion quickly revealed why trust may be the most pivotal topic we need to explore in education today.
