Matthew 17:1-8. Peter gets a front-row seat to the glory of Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration—not because he earned it, but because Jesus brought him close anyway. In this message, we explore Peter's highs, lows, interruptions, and failures, and the powerful reminder from God the Father: “Listen to Jesus.” If you've ever felt like your mistakes disqualified you, this message is an invitation to stick around, listen up, and discover that Jesus is still forming you.For upcoming events and important announcements at Skyline, visit our Facebook page or the Church Center App for the latest details! If you'd like to check out more resources, get to know Skyline Church, or donate to our ministry and missions please visit www.skylineofallon.com. You're listening to a Mom with mea podcast.00:17Speaker 2 Good morning, angels. I hope you woke up looking better than Kylie Jenno with one bleached eyebrow, because that is today's opening story, and I promise it gets better from Thereage London, and we have a jam packed one today. We've got the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Stargut reaching a stunning conclusion. Rebel Wilson has welcomed her second daughter, the Pussycat Dolls who canceled their tour, and the phrase blue dot fever is about to become part of your vocabulary. And there's a very funny update on the Taylor Swift wedding situation. So let's pour the tea. First up, for the met gala, Kylie bleached her eyebrows to go with the custom Chaparrelli gown a new course with phone nipples and a heavily embellished pearl covered train that took eleven thousand hours of embroidery. The look was stunning. Eyebrows, however, did not survive the return journey. Kylie filmed herself on Instagram stories with one bleached ibra and one that had been died back, but kind of came out an orange brown, absolutely losing it with laughter. I'm okay, look cool, brows are royal?01:20Speaker 1 What is this?01:20Speaker 2 What is this? This looks horrible?01:26Speaker 1 You left her with no hair?01:28Speaker 2 Horrible. I still can't get over the eleven thousand hours of embroidery for one night. Fashion is truly unhinged people. Next time, Rebel Wilson and her wife Ramona have welcomed their second daughter, and she's named Rose Estelle. Rebel posted proud to announce the birth of our second daughter, Rose Astelle. What a gorgeous blessing to have another little girl now on May fourth, It's now four of us. Cute Ramona and I are feeling so incredibly grateful and blessed to go our family. The next day, Rebel share the sweet photo of big sister Royce holding baby Rose for the first time, captioning it Little Angels, The Stick Around, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have reached a settlement and the details are genuinely surprising. The Poissycat Dolls have counseled their tour, and the music industry has a new illness called blue Dot fever. Plus Aaron Morris received a very suspicious wedding invite. Welcome back to your morning tea. After more than a year of Hollywood's most public legal battle, Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have settled two weeks before the trial was set to begin. Both sides released a joint statement saying the film is a source of pride to all of us and acknowledges that concerns raised by miss Lively deserved to be heard. The terms were not disclosed, but Tamz's reported that Blake received no money in the settlement. Last month, a judged throughout ten of Lively's thirteen claims, including all sexual harassment claims, leaving only breach of contract and retaliation. Legal experts say both sides face significant risk going to trial. No apology from Baldoni, no money for Blake, no trial, just to roumid sixty million dollars in legal fees. Yausers, There's a fascinating phenomenon gripping the live music industry right now called Blue Dot Fever, and it's affecting some of the biggest artists in the world, including Megan Trainer, Post Malone, and now the Pussycat Dolls. On the Ticketmaster w app unsold tickets show up as blue dots on a seating chart. Blue dot fever is when an artist anounces a tour, the blue dots never really go away and they eventually cancel and it's spreading. The newly from Pussycat Dolls had to cancel their entire US run, living only the European dates untouched. The way I see it, the class of living crisis is real. Concert ticket prices are extraordinary. People are making hard choices. The era of guaranteed demand for nostalgia tours is clearly over, and finally, country star Marion Morris has revealed that she received what appeared to be a fake text message inviting her to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding. It all went down like this, I'm serious in the States, I gotta ask, do you have any tea on the wedding? No, I mean person to ask. Come on.04:03Speaker 1 I got this like spam text a couple of weeks ago and it was like You're invited to Taylor and Travis's wedding. And I was like this, I'm blocking this because like there's no way they would send an invitation through, Like it's a text like this I mean why not. I was like, how how is this going to my number? The actual?04:22Speaker 2 Yeah? What if I just crashed it? Yeah, jim your phone, I'll tell you how to get it back. Just get it back to watch out World of spam text.04:30Speaker 1 Oh my gosh. Yeah, but I was like, how do they have my number? This is weird meeting, it's real?04:35Speaker 2 You know what that got sent to us?04:36Speaker 1 I would have clicked the link.04:38Speaker 2 I would end up.04:39Speaker 1 Yeah, the virus, Yeah, I got the viruses.04:41Speaker 2 Yeah, Marin. If it turns out that text was true and real and you deleted it, I'm so sorry. And also that would be hilarious. And that, my darlings. Is it for today's episode of Morning Tea. In this episode of Business Brain, we lean into change instead of resisting it and stay in the game long enough for compounding to finally kick in. We learn to make Shiny Object Syndrome work for us, not against us, by understanding who our ideal customer is while also discovering who we are in a new industry. We watch for the moment when others start seeing our value before we do—and we treat that first small win as a signal to keep going. We build momentum by repeating those wins, gathering real customer feedback, and pushing toward our first 100 customers with intention. We also learn to spot the red flags early—like partnership friction or getting trapped in iteration hell—so we can pivot fast and protect our progress. The message is simple: stick around, stack wins, and let time and consistency create our Charmed Life. 00:00:00 Business Brain – The Entrepreneurs' Podcast #742 for Wednesday, April 8, 2026 April 8th: International Be Kind to Lawyers Day 00:01:35 Resisting Change Resistance with Change! 00:02:31 Being in the game long enough for compounding to start Making Shiny Object Syndrome your friend can avoid your compounding Learning who your ICP is, but also learning who YOU are in the (new) industry Do others see your benefits before you do? Send Jackie A Message! You're getting new students in the door. Maybe you're even running ads to do it. But a few months later, they're gone—and you're right back to square one.Your students aren't leaving because your classes are bad. They're leaving because nothing is pulling them back in. Their progress is invisible. And their brain—wired to focus on the gap between where they are and where they want to go—has no reason to keep showing up.In this episode, Jackie Murphy breaks down why the "sign the wall at 100 classes" approach isn't cutting it anymore, and exactly how to build a gamified retention system for your yoga or Pilates studio. You'll learn how to make progress visible, recognize effort continuously, and always give your members a next level to work toward. Episode Outline:[01:30] Why retention matters more than acquisition[03:00] The real reason members leave[04:45] The gap vs. the gain: why clients can't see their own progress[06:00] Where the "sign the wall" approach falls short[09:00] What gamification actually looks like in a studio[18:30] How to measure the impact of your new systemKey Takeaways:✔️ A healthy retention rate is ~90% over six months. If your churn is above 10%, fix your retention system before spending more on ads.✔️ Members don't leave because your classes are bad. They leave because their progress is invisible and their effort goes unrecognized.✔️ Gamification isn't gimmicky—it's a strategic system where progress is visible, effort is recognized, and there's always a next milestone ahead.Quotes:"Signing the wall is a finish line, not a step in a journey.""Your students aren't leaving because your classes aren't good. They're leaving because their progress isn't being tracked and the effort feels unrecognized.""When there's no scoreboard, no tracking, no 'you're so close'—there's no reason for them to stay."FAQ Section:What is a healthy member retention rate for a yoga or Pilates studio? Around 90% within six months—meaning churn stays at or below 10%. If you're consistently above that, a retention system is your first priority, not more leads. Why do yoga and Pilates studio members cancel? Most members don't leave because of class quality. They leave because their progress isn't visible and their effort goes unrecognized. When clients don't feel like they're getting anywhere, they drift—even if they actually are making progress. What is a gamified retention system for fitness studios? It's a strategic structure where members earn points, level up through tiered titles, and unlock rewards at class milestones. It makes progress visible, recognizes effort continuously, and always gives members a clear next goal. How do I implement milestones in my fitness studio without expensive software? Most studio management software already tracks attendance. Set up automated email triggers at key milestones, create tiered titles, and use physical rewards like branded swag. No new technology required—just intentional setup. What rewards actually keep studio members engaged? Welcome to Manufacturing Greatness with Trevor Blondeel, where we work with organizations to manufacture greatness by leveraging resources you already have to achieve greater retention, productivity, and profits. To learn more, visit www.manufacturinggreatness.com and click here to subscribe to Trevor's monthly newsletter. Now, let's jump in! In manufacturing, most leaders don't struggle because they lack technical knowledge. They struggle because they're not connecting with their teams. When skill gaps widen, labor shortages grow, and hiring challenges persist, it's rarely an operations problem. It's a leadership and communication problem. That's exactly why I wrote Manufacturing Greatness, releasing May 11, 2027 with Page Two. This book is for Operations Managers, Production Managers, Manufacturing Managers, and Shift Supervisors who want high performing teams that stick around and consistently deliver results. Leaders who are ready to move beyond telling people what to do and start leading through curiosity, communication skills, and deeper conversations. Inside, you'll find practical tools to strengthen safety culture, improve employee engagement, support workforce retention, and build a workplace where teams work together, get results, and stay. Now I need your help. We've narrowed the subtitle down to five options, and I want the manufacturing community to weigh in. 1) How to Be More Productive with the People You Already Have 2) How Curious Leaders Strengthen Relationships to Improve Safety, Quality, and Productivity 3) How to Show Up, Clarify Expectations, and Instill Accountability to Streamline Your Operation 4) Three Conversations to Build High-Performing Teams that Work Together, Get Results, and Stick Around 5) Three Conversations to Build High-Performing Teams that Connect, Deliver, and Stick Around Email me at trevor@manufacturinggreatness.com and let you know about favorite subtitle option!

Gas prices hit their lowest level for a December since 2020, according to AAA, thanks largely to a global oil glut that pushed crude prices down about 20% last year. Most business owners quit on strategies right before they start working. Success isn't about trying more things—it's about giving the right things enough time.Take this podcast for example: When we started in 2019, hitting 500 episodes seemed impossible. But consistency over time creates compound results that feel sudden but aren't.The Solution:Give strategies minimum 90 days, often 6-12 months before measuring success. Your constraint isn't trying enough things—it's not giving the right things enough time.Your Challenge:What's the one thing you've been wanting to quit on that maybe needs more time?

It was an expensive week for Tesla. On Friday, a jury in Miami found the electric car company 33% to blame for a deadly 2019 crash involving its full self-driving feature, ordering it to pay a total of $242.5 million in damages. A few days later, the company’s board said it would dole out a $30 billion stock payoff to co-founder Elon Musk in order to keep him focused on the company, which has been bouncing from crisis to crisis. In this episode of Elon, Inc., host David Papadopoulos is joined by Bloomberg Elon Musk reporter Dana Hull, Bloomberg Businessweek’s Max Chafkin as well as Missy Cummings, an academic and former senior adviser for safety at the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration who was called as an expert witness during the trial. Together, they discuss the possible consequences for the company flowing from the verdict, with Cummings warning it’s yet another roadblock for fully self-driving cars. Papadopoulos, Hull and Chafkin also discuss that monster payout to Musk. Later, Papadopoulos, Chafkin and Bloomberg News reporter Kiel Porter discuss Porter’s latest story on The Boring Company, Musk’s largely stalled endeavor to build underground “hyperloops.” Although the tunnel-digging venture recently scored a contract to build a loop connecting Nashville’s airport with its downtown, Porter’s paints a picture of a struggling company that—in true Muskian fashion—promises more than it can deliver. And the challenges are mounting. All the company has to show for its labors is a small loop that takes people to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center. When asked by Papadopoulos about the company’s falling valuation—now hovering at around $6.4 billion, down from a high of $8.6 billion in July 2023—Porter is direct. “They were supposed to have 68 miles dug in Vegas. It was supposed to be this huge interconnected lattice, and instead you got less than four operational miles,” he says. “It doesn’t take a genius to look at that and go, ‘why am I investing in this?’”See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Smart Agency Masterclass with Jason Swenk: Podcast for Digital Marketing Agencies
Would you like access to our advanced agency training for FREE? https://www.agencymastery360.com/training Is churn currently a problem with your agency clients? Are you aware of the reasons they decide to leave? It may be time to think hard about your onboarding process, client communication, and generally the ways you're ensuring client satisfaction. The difference often comes down to positioning: are you operating as a trusted advisor or simply completing tasks? Today's special guest knows that agencies that prioritize client satisfaction, embrace accountability, and focus on becoming trusted advisors rather than mere task completers are the ones that create truly loyal clients. As our Agency Scale Specialist, Darby Copenhaver, has closely observed the growth trajectories of numerous mastermind members and constantly communicates with them in their journeys. In this conversation, he and Jason get into the importance of strong communication and transparent onboarding processes to combat buyer's remorse and build trust. They also address the strategic use of AI to enhance efficiency and results, stressing that while AI can automate tasks, human connection and understanding clients' evolving needs remain paramount for long-term partnerships. In this episode, we'll discuss: How to prevent your clients' buyer's remorse. Your onboarding might be the problem. Stop ignoring current clients. Your secret retention weapon: ongoing discovery. Why Your Clients Might Not Love You (Even if You're Getting Results) Ever feel like you're crushing it for clients, but then they ghost you or churn unexpectedly? There are several reasons why this could be happening and ways to stop it before it kills your momentum. Here's the truth: buyers remorse sets in immediately after a client signs. It's your job to kill that remorse with rock-solid communication and a frictionless onboarding experience. Most agencies think they're good communicators because they answer emails. But clients want more than tasks checked off. They want to feel seen, understood, and confident they made the right decision. If you're not proactively communicating wins (and misses), or if you let your PMs control the narrative without your oversight, you're setting yourself up for churn, no matter how “good” your delivery is. Your Onboarding Might Be Pushing Clients Away As Jason knows from recent experiences as a client, most agencies' onboarding is just an exhausting homework dump on clients who already told you their goals in the sales calls you recorded. Why are you making them repeat themselves, fill out giant forms, or wait for your scattered follow-ups? Your clients didn't hire you to do more work. They hired you to get results while saving them time. Break your onboarding into clear, easy phases, Reset expectations, Use the data you already have (like call transcripts and AI sorting) to fill in the blanks yourself. If you set clear timelines, communication rhythms, and how success will be measured in that first meeting, you'll position yourself as a trusted advisor, not another vendor barking for “assets” they've already shared. This is what makes clients relieved to work with you instead of stressed. Communication: Simple, But Rarely Done Right It's so important for any business to show that you're trustworthy, and you'll show that by doing what you say you'll do, when you say you'll do it. Too many agencies fail to communicate delays, let tasks slip, and think a monthly dashboard is enough. It's not. Dashboards alone mean nothing to most clients. Some need a quick Loom, some need Slack check-ins, others need a simple “Here's what we did, what's next, and why it matters.” Customizing your communication style shows your clients you're paying attention to them, not just copy-pasting your agency SOPs onto their business. This is how you become a trusted advisor, the person they call with challenges (not just tasks). That's how you become irreplaceable. So, which measures are you implementing at your agency to ensure - not just assume - that you know your clients are happy, not only with the results presented but also the overall experience? Want Clients to Stick Around? Be Human When was the last time you called a client you didn't personally sell or deliver on, just to check in and say, “Hey, I'm the CEO, here's my number if you need anything”? Most agencies never do this, but it's one of the simplest ways to build relationships that survive budget cuts and economic slowdowns. If clients only see you as a transaction, you're the first thing to get cut. If they see you as a partner, they'll fight to keep you. Want to take it further? Fly out and have dinner with your top clients once a year. Exchange stories, show them you care, and watch how your retention and upsells climb. Stop Leaving Money on the Table by Ignoring Current Clients Agencies love to yell, “We need more leads!” But often, your easiest growth is sitting right in front of you. If your clients trust you, they'll come to you with new problems—many of which you can solve or connect them with someone who can. This positions you as a problem solver, not an order taker. Instances like this are a great opportunity to be strategic, guide them, and reinforce how much you value the relationship. Results are awesome, but that value is what will take from being transactional to being a value relationship they'll fight to keep in times of economic uncertainty. Why Ongoing Discovery Is Your Secret Retention Weapon If you're selling to clients you can't grow with, you're setting yourself up for frustration. Too many agencies say “yes” to clients who aren't ready, don't want help, or can't commit to scaling. It's like hiring a personal trainer while refusing to stop eating cake every night. They might pay you, but they won't get results—and they'll blame you when they don't. And what about after you've found the right clients? Darby believes too many agencies forget that discovery isn't just for the sales process. Every client interaction should be a sort of ongoing discovery. Agencies that retain and grow accounts are constantly in ongoing discovery mode. As you bring success to clients their needs will evolve, their businesses shift, and what worked four months ago might be irrelevant today. If you're not in tune with those shifts, your agency becomes stale, and you'll get replaced. A challenge for agency owners: How are you staying aware of what's changing in your clients' businesses? Are you proactively checking in, asking about priorities, and aligning your services to what's happening right now? Or are you stuck on autopilot, delivering what they hired you for while missing what they actually need today? Stay curious, stay in discovery, and you'll stay essential. Communication Clarity: 411 vs. 911 To prevent the typical disconnect when clients are unsure of who to reach out to and for what, Darby and Jason recommend this simple but powerful tactic brought by Agency Mastery member, Travis. He tells clients exactly who to reach out to for “411” (info & updates) vs. “911” (emergencies). This eliminates confusion, speeds up communication, and prevents small issues from turning into big frustrations. And when you mess up—and you will—own it fast. Clients don't want spin or silence. They want the truth — fast. One agency Jason used messed up an ad so badly it was embarrassing, and instead of calling to own it, they hid behind Slack messages. Don't be that agency. Mistakes happen. What matters is how quickly and humanly you fix them. Be Human. Clients Crave It. At the heart of retention and growth is human connection. If your agency relationships feel like sterile transactions, you're replaceable. Clients want to feel seen and understood. If everything you share sounds like sugarcoated wins while their results lag, they'll start doubting you. Long-term, high-value clients come from humanizing your interactions—having real conversations, admitting mistakes, sharing wins, and being upfront about challenges. Clients don't want perfect robots; they want partners they trust. Don't Fear AI - Use It to Win Do clients want their agencies to use AI? Overwhelmingly, yes. They just don't what you to use it just to write articles and create crappy images, brands want their agencies using AI to get better results. According to a survey conducted by Audience Audit, 77% of brands are more likely to hire an agency seen as an AI expert, yet only 32% think their current agency is. This is a massive opportunity. But here's the key: don't use AI as a crutch to replace human strategy. Use it to collect, analyze, and interpret data faster so you can bring clients valuable insights and make micro-adjustments that drive real results. Clients want done-for-you solutions that leverage AI under the hood while preserving a human relationship on the front end. Just remember that clients don't care about your systems, your dashboards, or your internal processes if they don't lead to results. They want outcomes with as little friction as possible. AI can help you cut busywork, speed up insights, and refine strategy—but it's your human understanding and relationship that keeps clients paying, referring, and expanding their contracts. A lot of practices are concerned about keeping their team members on board right now. In this episode, Kiera lays out 3 effective ways to create a workplace that employees want to show up to, leading to a happier office crew and happier patients. Episode resources: Subscribe to The Dental A-Team podcast Schedule a Practice Assessment Leave us a review Transcript Kiera Dent (00:00) Hello, Dental A Team listeners. This is Kiera, and I hope that you're just having the best day of your life. I hope that you are just truly, truly, truly remembering why you're even doing this. I hope you have a strong why. I hope you have a strong commitment. I hope you have just the best honest day-to-day. Dental A Team's purpose is to truly make your life better, to make running a dental practice easier, because I don't believe that being successful and profitable has to be hard. I don't believe that having like great patients and great teams has to be a hard journey. So our job is to give you tactical tips that are able to implement immediately and make your life and your job even easier. Today, I wanted to pump you guys up because I believe that stronger teams, happier practice, this is where we're at. How do you actually boost team morale and job satisfaction? This is something that I feel is super common right now. People are like, Kiera, how do I get more team members to stay? And we just had an in-person. event where doctors, we had doctors and leadership, so office managers there, and the doctor like, please just tell us like, what do you want? We will try our best to do this for you. And so the reality is a happy team leads to truly a thriving practice. And I don't believe that happy means you have to give everything to them. And so really how do we create a work environment where your team loves to show up every single day? This truly impacts patient care. It impacts efficiency. It impacts the practice success. And so really I'm going to give you guys three of the most effective strategies that I've seen with hundreds of practices to truly boost job satisfaction today. You guys, we are the dental team. We are the experts and dentists and team training. We love to do this. We love to help you in your practice. And the reality is we have been able to help within our consulting, boost team morale, boost doctor morale, which ultimately leads to greater patient satisfaction and happiness. So today, number one, it was interesting. were like, literally at this event, we were listing off all these things and asking the team members and the doctors were like, my gosh, like, just tell us. And one of the office managers raised her hand and she said, you know, a lot of these things are important. But the number one thing that's important to me is when my doctor says, hey, you did a great job. And I like, there it is again. Like it shows up constantly of creating a culture of recognition and appreciation and when team members feel valued, I remember like the best thing my doctor could have told me was, Keri, like you did it, you like crushed it today. Like, I'm so grateful for you as my assistant. And I think like, we think that that doesn't matter, but when it's genuine and sincere, this is what our team members are craving. And so figure out a way where you can like recognize your team members, figure out a way where you have peer to peer, so it's not just leaning on you doctors. So office managers looking for this. And then having personalized appreciation. And this is something where I really emphasize this heavy in our company, in our team, in our culture. So for example, you guys have heard me probably talk a million times about our morning huddle structure, where every Wednesday is core value shout out and every team member, it's kind of like popcorn. So if I'm going to start today, I'm going to shout out a team member for one of our core values. And then I choose that team member and then they'll shout someone else out. And even if like it's someone else, then great, no problem. We're just going to make sure that every person shout someone out and it doesn't matter who got shout outs. But what the goal is, is that peer to peer recognition where we're looking for each other's strengths, we're looking for each other's greatness, We're looking to elevate and celebrate one another. We have every Friday 5 where we highlight different team members of great things that they've done, things that have gone really well. And I will tell you, this is one of the greatest ways to foster a great culture. And then other things that you can do is on you can personally Shout out team members of what they're doing well and highlight them But really being genuine and I know some doctors like really struggle with this I even had a doctor who had like 17 members and they had seven little rocks in one pocket and Every time they would compliment a team member. They'd move one rock to one pocket So by the end of the day all seven rocks had to move for giving them appreciation I had another doctor who put an alarm on their phone to just say thank you to their team members. And I know this feels so silly, but literally we had a team of doctors and a team of office managers all in a room and consistently they all said that feeling valued and appreciated was the number 1 thing. it didn't matter about the money. Of course these things need to be there. But truly, if you just create a simple recognition plan and start acknowledging your team members this week, I know that this will be a great way to boost that team morale and keep team retention. So number two is going to be investing in growth and development. So different things, think team members love to know what is like my progression within my workplace. How can I grow? How can I get to the next level? How can I be like, what's this? And so we love to have tier programs for every single position within the practice. We share this with our clients where it's like, what does a dental assistant from here to here to here? What's that expectation of the skillset? Also, what's the growth potential financially? And so this way it's like, how can I grow? Also within Dental A Team, offer, I have an X amount of dollars for continuing education for all of my team members that they can use every single year to learn other things. And it can even be things like if they want to learn about investing or they want to learn about budgeting and they want to take a Dave Ramsey course, that's totally fine because I want to invest in them as people and in professionals. And so how can we actually help them know like within their career, how they can grow in advance, but also then within their life, how can they grow in advance? You know, Dental A Tetam, have done this and Britt and I have gone back and forth of, we want to like share dollar amounts? We not like there's pros and cons around it. But what I do like is the growth trajectory of what do these positions need to be? And it's something where I felt we were clear and I found out from our team, weren't as clear. so find ways for you to help your team know how to grow and advance within the practice. and then guess what? They'll tap out. There will be a tap out phase of every position and that's okay. At least they know that. the expectations are not missed. And then that's when we start to provide CE for life, CE for these other things. And what I've seen is when offices invest in growth and development within their teams, it reenergizes them. think consulting is a great way for you to reenergize your team. And what we see is we usually see a 10 to 30 % increase in production just with coming into a practice, just with helping them, because the whole team now is super excited. They're all on board and we've literally been able to grow them. And so I think this is a great thing within your one-on-ones. Find out what things are interested in, find out, roll out these tiers for every position so it's super crystal clear with each team member. And then within their one-on-ones monthly, within their evaluations, you're able to help them just see their growth and development. And I know teams really do care about that. Then there of course is going to be the piece of step three will be two things. So it's gonna like, there's one of communication and team bonding, honestly having it be a fun place to work. So things that they get excited about, and I usually break this up by quarters, because there's four departments in a practice. We've got our doctors, front office, dental assistants, and hygienists. And if I put all those together, there's one group per quarter. Give them a budget, and we just build up this incredible space where we actually have fun as a team together. We go hang out. We do paint and wine nights. We go to sports games together. We go on a cruise. We go to the movies together. We go to a movie launch. I don't care what it is. And when all the different departments have to plan it, then guess what? We all show up for each other. But having something that's just really fun. also think like potluck lunches can be an easy thing. can have, there's just like so many things you can do as a team. You can have a date night. can have, there's just finding ways to connect beyond work is going to be a really great way of just fun. Like I know so many team members watch other offices on social media and they're that office just looks like they're having a ton of fun all the time. And a lot of them really are. And so it's like, how can we actually have so much fun together as a team? We want to make sure that we are teammates and my husband was talking to me, he works in the hospital and he works with a pretty large team and they said that our teams are becoming a lot of what communities used to be. Communities used to be like where you lived would be about like your politics and your religion and all these other things in your support system and your friends and work is now becoming that. And so finding ways to connect. even as human beings, I think is a really, really great way to just have it be a fun place. And that doesn't mean you have to spend a lot of money. It could just be getting creative where we remember we're people in addition to being coworkers. And then of course, I will just say like a fourth bonus tip is going to be making sure that we are compensating our team appropriately and that our benefits are where they need to be. Even if you don't offer healthcare, you can offer a health stipend for like gym memberships or wellness. You can offer like a half day on certain days of the month, but Getting feedback in a positive way, I think there's been some ways to have it negative, but figuring out what really is super important to your team is going to be great ways for you to just truly boost this team morale, boost this connection. And so really what we wanted to highlight is number one, the number one thing, like literally, I just did this like a couple of weeks ago. It is the recognition and appreciation. Number two is growth and development. Three is strength and communication and team bonding. And four is going to be making sure that you are compensating your team. where you are adequate to where they're not stressed and you're able to have that. But I really think in that growth section, showing them the tiers, you've actually helped foster that as well. So this is where you can actually get like positive team culture. takes time. Culture is not something that's built overnight. Culture is not something that you just show up. It usually is quite a long turn, but it is undue dividends. And the reality is you've got to be able to create this thriving team culture. Otherwise you're going to be dealing with constant turnover. constant chaos and that is not a fun space to be.
