GAA all the way on today's Added Time podcast. Limerick have got their groove back and their demolition of Clare in the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday has them ticking over beautifully ahead of next weekend's trip to Thurles. But the beauty of the hurling championship is that Clare still have a route through to the knock-out stages and if they can gather themselves ahead of Cork's visit to Ennis, their year isn't dead. Ian O’Riordan was in Limerick and he joins us in studio. The Ulster Football Championship continues to be the World Cup, the Grand National and the Ashes all rolled into one. Cavan and Donegal will meet in the final after another weekend of top-class action. Keith Duggan was in Breffni Park for Donegal's win over Tyrone on Saturday night and we give him the floor to wax on and wax off about Michael Murphy and the rest of his countymen. Throw in some aggressive non-lamenting for the Leinster Football Championship and a look ahead to Ireland v Gibraltar and that's your Monday Added Time, with Malachy Clerkin and Gavin Cummiskey.

The World Cup is down to the last four, and the tension is rising. Emmet Malone joins us on the line from Russia to explain why he’s feeling a little out of step with the press pack – not only has he been underwhelmed by Belgium so far, he also simply can’t bring himself to wish England well. And yes, he knows he probably should be a bit more mature and just rise above it all, but … Ireland enjoyed an extraordinary weekend of success at the European Under-18 Athletics Championships in Hungary, Ian O’Riordan talks us through a brilliant weekend, explains where the gold rush came from and tells us how excited we should be (spoiler: we should be pretty excited). Galway laid down a marker in the Leinster hurling final on Sunday, delivering a hugely impressive performance against Kilkenny. Sean Moran looks at how the Tribesmen seem to have returned to the heights they reached last year, and why that is very bad news for any other teams with designs on Liam MacCarthy. All in your Added Time podcast with Pat Nugent and Mary Hannigan. In a bumper podcast this week we have Sonia O’Sullivan and Ian O’Riordan in the studio to talk through the issues around Caster Semenya and this week’s IAAF ruling on athletes with Differences of Sexual Development (or DSDs). Do we need a new classification for athletes beyond male and female or are people being punished for their natural gifts? Katie Taylor takes to the ring on Saturday night in a world title unification bout that has gone curiously low on the radar. Johnny Watterson joins us to preview the fight and predict what Katie does next. Tony Evan’s book ‘Two Tribes’ recalls the tumultuous 1985/'86 season in English football and the titanic struggle for supremacy between Liverpool and Everton, played out against the backdrop of Heysel, hooliganism and hatred (mainly directed towards Margaret Thatcher). Ahead of next week’s Champions League second leg, and after the tragic events of Tuesday night, we also touch on AS Roma and their history of violence with Liverpool. There’s also Jose Mourinho getting his excuses in, and golfers picking their walk-on music, all in this week’s Added Time podcast with Pat Nugent and Mary Hannigan.
