Podcasting this week from the smoky skies of the US Pacific Northwest, in this episode Ben and David chat about modern Silurians and their impact on them as original series fans. They love Jordu Schell's original Silurian redesign, but sadly for them it wasn't used. Then Ben tells David about RTD's "A Very British Scandal". They share a chuckle at Jovanka Airlines, and look forward to series 19 coming out on Blu Ray this November. Opening and closing music is "The Silurians" by Murray Gold.

Go behind-the-scenes and on the road with Distortions Unlimited, the Colorado-based “haunt industry” animatronic and prop-making company run by Ed & Marsha Edmunds on Travel Channel's MAKING MONSTERS, Sundays at 8pE/P and 9pE/P Each hour-long episode follows the Edmunds and their staff – including renowned Hollywood creature and mask maker Jordu Schell – as they build some of the scariest frightronics and props in the world. Season three highlights include a new set of KISS animatronic band members for Las Vegas' KISS Monster Mini Golf; a giant zombie head & arms podium for Adobe Senior Creative Director Russell Brown in Denver, CO; and a mutilating buzz-saw blade attraction for Atlanta's NetherWorld; a terrifying pregnant zombie in St. Louis. Edmunds' fascination with sci-fi flicks and television began as a teenager while living in rural Illinois. He studied Art Education at the University of Northern Colorado. Edmunds used his artistic abilities to make and sell high-quality masks, which eventually led to the creation of his company, Distortions Unlimited. Marsha Taub-Edmunds began working for Ed Edmunds in 1981 - she became intrigued by the creations and took it upon herself to learn the business inside and out. Marsha and Ed connected through their shared artistic passion and wed in 1992; they have been running Distortions Unlimited as a team ever since.
