Riiiiiiicooolaaaaaaa!!!! It seems like we have a slight echo on this episode. Apologies! It's a glorious time for Richonne shippers in the fandom of The Walking Dead. The first episode after their magical night has Kia in as much of an afterglow as the characters themselves. However, that's all brought to a screeching halt because of our new friend, shady Jesus. He escapes the confinement of Alexandria's unfinished basement/jail cell, takes inventory of its resources, tells Rick and crew that he's from a place that can trade with them, takes them to said place where the leader shuts them down and then they somehow end up agreeing to be mercenaries for this new group. In this episode, Phoenix has a raspy voice and talks into a lapel microphone because a friend is borrowing the sound mixer for an NBA podcast. He talks about the great casting on Gregory, why the group loves to abandon Alexandria without anyone to defend it, how the power situation is confusing in the Hilltop, how he forgot Greggory was a creepy dude, the continuing letdown of the Maggie-Glenn reunion.

A podcast about stuff we love. There ARE no guilty pleasures! This episode features writer Jason Arnopp, author of The Last Days of Jack Sparks, and we discuss The Walking Dead (the TV show). Featuring lots of swearing! Alternative titles! And the person on the show I *most* want to die! HUGE spoilers up to season 6 episode 11, “Knots Untie”. @jamesmoran www.jamesmoranwriter.com
Jesus leads the Alexandrians to the hilltop community and it's pretty clear that each group needs the other. However, do the Alexandrians make the right decision to support them in taking on Negan? Listen to our podcast as we dive deep into this great episode.

This week we recap TWD S06E11 - Knots Untie. Rick and the crew's world gets bigger as they make a trip to the Hilltop. Abraham is in love with 2 women and Richoone is a thing!
“Knots Untie” (S.6/Ep.11) The Three Stupid guys kick off the episode with a little bit of Food Talk. That doesn't keep them from asking the hard-hitting questions about the episode: How do the Hilltop people grow their food? Who does Abraham want to make pancakes with? Hypothetically who would Jesus interview first on a Talk […]

Talking Through Knots Untie Jesus made the Knots Untie in this next episode of our favorite show and took our gang to meet his, also known as Hilltop. The show has been feeling a little incomplete without a porch dick, son of porch dick, or Nick dick. So, we are introduced to Gregory, who slips into his new role as though he had been doing it his whole life. Which, let's be honest, he probably had been. Xander Berkeley plays a jerk so well… Xander Berkeley does a fantastic job of being instantly dislikeable. In his next role, I want him to play a loveable teddy bear. Just once. But for now, he's the newest irritant on The Walking Dead. The action kicked up after our gang arrived in Hilltop. They found that things were a little more complicated than Jesus had indicated. After a confrontation with recently returned residents, Rick's face was once again covered in someone else's blood. Have we gone back to Wild West views of death where “he needed killin'” was a legitimate reason to off someone? Perhaps so. Additional thoughts/clarification… When I first heard Jesus mention entropy, it made me think of the title, Knots Untie, and how it all fits together. The idea is that “things fall apart”, which, as I said, is also the title of a book I read in college. To me, this is an indicator for future events, meaning things are about to get totally crazy for Alexandria, and probably for Hilltop, too, but then what else is new? This is The Walking Dead after all! Another thing I wanted to mention, just something to think about, would Maggie really have been able to shoot Jesus? After watching the whole episode, I think so. I really liked it when Glenn and Daryl were working together in the building and how Daryl pushed Glenn out of the way to take out one of the walkers. Thanks for reading this far, you rock!

Time to chew up some asphalt and listen to the latest installment of our podcast devoted entirely to the AMC show, The Walking Dead. Hotter than a couple of flapjacks on the griddle, this episode held a lot of fun twists and turns. One important lesson was learned: When you're pouring the Bisquick, make sure you want to make some pancakes. Speaking of pancakes, Daryl gets some sustenance from Denise so those two are bonding. At least Daryl won't have to eat roadkill with Denise around it seems. Carol has competition in the cooking department! Then of course, we meet the Hilltop community that Jesus is a part of -- and get to see Maggie flex her negotiating muscle. Head to the hills for some sorghum and listen to this podcast now. Don't miss out on every last update!

The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 11 “Knots Untie” Post Episode Recap and Review TWD S6 Ep11 Knots Untie, February 28, 2016: Jesus takes Rick Grimes and the group to the Hilltop Colony, a peaceful community overshadowed by the power of Negan and The Saviors. We recap and review all of that and more. Also take you Walking Dead Questions, comments and calls!
Talking Through The Next World The Next World is the next episode of our favorite show, but this one came with mixed reviews from us. One of us thought there were too many plot holes, and the other just went with it. Whatever your thoughts are, this episode is probably the most humorous episode of The Walking Dead that we've ever seen. It's nice to see our characters relax for a little while and sort of goof off. Unfortunately, we know that this cannot last and that hell is probably coming. Are you really Jesus? At least one of us has a few burning questions, like who the heck is this guy whose friends used to call him Jesus? And what happened to his friends? Where did he come from? How is he so clean? Was he always a ninja, or did he learn to be one later, like Morgan? And finally, what would a fight between Morgan and “Jesus” look like? Since I haven’t read the comics, I can’t wait to find out! A few more things… Here are a few more things I forgot to say when we were recording. I really liked at the end when Rick and Daryl are talking and Rick says, “It is pretty stupid going out there,” to which Daryl responds, “Yep…do it again tomorrow?” “Yep.” A little bit of Daryl Dixon makes everything better. Also, I know we talked briefly about Carl and Michonne and their moment, but I wanted to point out that love in the time of zombies is being willing and able to bash in the brains of your loved ones. I told my mom if she ever became a zombie, I'd off her, but I don't think she took it the way I meant it. Finally, I kept thinking that “Jesus” was faking it the whole ride back to Alexandria. I kept expecting him to pull some shenanigans. But if he was faking, he really sold it by waiting until everyone else was asleep (or otherwise engaged, if you get my drift!). We got some audio feedback! Thank you so, so much for your audio feedback this week, it really means a lot! We love to hear your voices! Don't be shy, everyone else, let us hear your voice, too! We salute you, listeners — our recap of “The Next World” is here to report for duty. We’re so excited about this podcast, not even Jesus could keep us away. We all just watched Episode 10 of Season 6 of The Walking Dead — and probably have more questions than answers about what lies in store for everyone. Sure, Deanna's sudden re-appearance may not have been totally unexpected -- and yet it was quite enjoyable to have her pop in again for a visit. Also, who knew that sorghum was such an important grain? Listen in for all the latest!
