Kris Wolfe is the founder of Good Guy Swag and author of “10 Ways to Win a Girls Heart“. Kris went from being a scrawny and unconfident teenager to a bodybuilder, and marrying a Miss USA. Now, he helps other men do the same by embracing authenticity and becoming a real man. Favorite Quote “A real man is a man who is real”~Gordon Dalbey Key Points 1. The People You Allow into Your Life will Shape Your Destiny While this may be one of the oldest and most over used pieces of personal development advice, it is absolutely true and relevant in your life. There is nothing that will have a bigger effect on your life than the people whom you surround yourself with. If you spend time around leaders and winners, you will naturally follow suit, however if you spend most of your time with low caliber individuals with no interest in personal growth, then your life will stagnate. Because of this, finding excellent mentors who have the results that you want is incredibly important. If you can find people in your life to hold you accountable and keep you in check while they pour into you and help you grow, your life and success will accelerate rapidly. And while many of you may not think you can find a mentor, it is important to realize that nearly every successful person wants to pour into an eager protege and you simply have to have a teachable spirit to build relationships that will last you a lifetime. 2. You Can’t Be a Gentleman until You Are a Man As you seek to find the woman of your dreams and win her heart, you have to realize that you cannot be the gentleman that she needs you to be until you are first the man that you need you to be. You have to be real and confident in yourself, you must learn to love who you are while you build yourself into who you want to be and to be unashamed about your identity. As soon as you become the grounded man who is going after his purpose in life, everything else will fall into place. 3. It’s the Basics that Count While it may not be anything flashy or exciting, if you want to win a woman’s heart, then do what men have been doing for generations! Be intentional in your approach and tell her exactly how you feel and what your desired outcome is, be complimentary of her and her passions, and be romantic in your dating methods, constantly surprising her with new and creative ideas and activities. The problem in America is that we always look for what is new instead of what works. Stick to the basics and win that girls heart.

Let's get one thing straight... PURSUIT IS IMPORTANT, and it's okay to be romanced.
Now for today’s episode Kait brought on her friends Kris Wolfe and Kristen Dalton Wolfe. Their conversation revolved around importance of PURSUIT and ROMANCE in relationship… because yall these two things are IMPORTANT and sometimes we don’t prioritize them! You might actually remember Kris from our Me,Too and Masculinity Episodes. He inspires other men to be their BEST selves. He has written some amazing books like 10 Ways to Win a Girl’s Heart, and he also runs an online ministry called Good Guy Swag. Now his lovely wife Kristen Dalton Wolfe is a sparkly, joy-filled, encouraging woman. She is a former Miss USA who helps women step into the radiance of their true identity. Kristen has used her passion for women coupled with her degree in Psychology to launch SheisMore.com, a faith blog. She is ALSO an author of multiple books including her LATEST book, The Sparkle Effect. Together Kris and Kristen run men and women’s ministries, retreats and conferences in LA. They are POWERFUL and WISE so to have them on today was an absolute treat. Some themes of today’s episode: -WHY should we truly be GIVING IT ALL in terms of pursuit? -Why do we not pursue? - “You can’t refine and you can’t grow if you’re playing it safe. You need resistance in your life in order to GROW." -Is romance important? Is it okay to want to be romanced? -It is important to date from a place of abundance. Not of desperation or lack. -Is there REALLY such thing as keeping it cool? Kris and Kristen believe in the importance of pursuit and romance in dating as do we… So all 3 talk today about WHY this is so important, how we should do it, and in the process WHAT we should be looking for. We hope you enjoy this energetic conversation with friends! FRIENDS also, we are So excited to announce the launch of our Dating COURSE: The Date Great Course. What does it REALLY mean to be a man? Can men be vulnerable? What masks are men sometimes living in?
Part 2 of our conversation with 3 incredible men. If you missed our Part 1 of this conversation, you’re going to want to go back and listen to it. We dove into what it is like being a man in the culture of the Me, Too movement. How can we embrace women? How can we do a better job of listening and acknowledging the pain of sexual assault? This week, we are SO incredibly excited to dive into another topic, the prevalent issue of masculinity in our culture. What does it REALLY mean to be a man? Can men be vulnerable? What masks are men sometimes living in? If we could better tackle these questions and seek to be the change in this area we can have SUCH richer and healthier relationships in our lives. The 3 guys this week are amazing guy friends who we honor and respect so much. They are not afraid to get vulnerable, cry, admit that the like pink and pumpkin spice lattes, and have an immense amount of respect and honor towards women. Johan Khallilan is an incredibly vulnerable and compelling motivational speaker. Kris Wolfe is an amazing author and founder of Good Guy swag. And Ryan Gunnarson is an actor and motivator with a heart for treating women well. Here are some stats on masculinity: -88% of all homicides are committed by men. -Men in the US are 6 times more likely to commit suicide then someone else -All mass shooters since 1982 other than 2 have been male and white -For boys SUICIDE is the most leading cause of death -Between ages 20-24 there is 7x more likely chance for suicide in young men than young women -Men in their 50s and 60s are reported of having little to NO close relationships Friends, would you do us a favor and share this message with a friend to keep this conversation going? Also! Make sure to keep up with us and join our family on Instagram by following us at @heartofdating. We’d love to have you share this episode on there if you like it!
Friends we just need to let out a sigh… this episode today means so much to our team here at Heart of Dating. It has been about a year since everything was released regarding the allegations against Harvey Weinstein that led to the start of the Me, Too Movement. We could not think of a better time than now to dive into what we think about this as Christians, especially from the male perspective. We have anticipated releasing this episode for a while and think you will love the realness and richness of the conversation.. NOW more than ever. So today Kait brought on 3 of her guy friends who she admires in SO many ways. Each of them have such beautiful hearts, and truly grasped what it means to love and respect women wholeheartedly, while also learning how to wrestle with their own personal identities as men. So let's introduce our guests! Today we have Johan Khalilian. He uses his life story to help people of all ages believe in the power of their dreams and the impact their life can make in the world around them. He is incredibly REAL and shameless about being vulnerable and we love it. Then we have Kris Wolfe. Kris is a CLASSIC good guy, because he inspires other men to be their BEST selves. He says "A nice guy is a doormat, but a good guy leaves a monument.” He has written some amazing books including Black Tie, and 10 ways to win a girls heart, and also runs an online ministry called Good Guy Swag. Last but not least Ryan Gunnarson. Ryan is an actor and motivator. He and his wife Aquella have been on the podcast before sharing their story earlier this year, and together they co-created a platform on IG @thatonemarriedcouple to encourage laughter and growth in relationships. We love Ryan’s heart and were super pumped he wanted to come back on. Some overall themes today: -There is HOPE… but a lot of work to do.This movement has been a catalyst to start change for the future. -Do men truly understand the gravity of the problem? -How can we embrace and love those who have been affected? -How can men truly be an active part of the change? -How is the church addressing this issue? -How can we champion the people who have been victimized... are we even followers of Christ if we don’t? -Have we turned into a culture a complacency within the church? -Is okay to just be known as a "good guy" but not say anything? -How can we empower men to step out and say something? This conversation, more than ever needs to be had RIGHT NOW. We know we don’t alway like to have uncomfortable conversations, but itchy ares necessary. Do us a favor and share this message with a friend to keep this conversation going. Also friends keep up with us and join our family on Instagram by following us at @heartofdating. We’d love to have you share this episode on there if you like it!
