Potom vošli do Kafarnaumu. A hneď v sobotu vstúpil do synagógy a učil. I veľmi sa divili Jeho učeniu, lebo ich učil, ako kto má moc, a nie ako zákonníci. V ich synagóge bol práve človek posadnutý nečistým duchom, ktorý vykríkol takto: Čo Ťa do nás, Ježiš Nazaretský? Prišiel si nás zahubiť! Viem, kto si: ten Svätý Boží! Mk 1,21-24 Drahý priateľ, Boh nie je hrozbou pre tvoj život. Je to hriech. S hriechom prichádza nepokoj, beznádej, prázdnota a strach. Hriech nikdy nedá to, čo sľubuje. Len kradne radosť, pokoj a život. Kradne samotný zmysel života! Príbeh o človeku posadnutom nečistým duchom je presným obrazom našej doby, kde sa Boh v našej egoistickej kultúre vyčleňuje zo všetkých oblastí a vedomosť o Bohu sa znižuje na minimum. A to málo, čo človek o Bohu vie, je žiaľ chybné. Farizeji, zákonníci, náboženskí vodcovia ľudu nevedeli, kto je Ježiš. Ale nečistý duch ani chvíľu neváhal. Vedel, kto je Ježiš. Keď je obraz Boha tak pokrivený,až si človek myslí, že spása a posvätenie ohrozujú život, budúcnosť a šťastie, tak je človek stratený. Píšem tebe, kto si uvedomuješ, že hriech nedáva to, čo ponúka. Len ťa klame a ničí tvoju vedomosť o Bohu. Pán Ježiš má však moc odpúšťať hriechy. Cez svoje slovo a s pomocou Svätého Ducha ti môže ukázať kým v skutočnosti je. Môže ti zjaviť nebeského Otca, ktorý ťa miluje. Nechce ti dať len ten pravý obraz Boha, chce ti dať aj pravý obraz ľudí v tvojom okolí a pravý obraz o tebe samom. Drahý človek, ja ťa nemôžem prinútiť, aby si žil v Ježišovej blízkosti. Prosím ťa ale, prečítaj si pozorne Novú zmluvu aspoň tri krát. V ten deň, keď skončíš, choď do izby, zatvor dvere a v tichu sa spýtaj: „Kto je v skutočnosti hrozbou môjmu životu?“ Kto je hrozbou môjmu šťastiu a pokoju? Je to Ježiš…? Alebo sú tou hrozbou hlasy, ktoré mi hovoria, že Ježiš chce môj život zničiť? Boh je dobrý. Pane pomáhaj nám spoznať pravý obraz o Tebe, aby sme si uvedomili a rozumeli, aký si dobrý a čo dokážeš v našich životoch spraviť, keď Ti to dovolíme. Nech Božia milosť a moc Kristovho vzkriesenia vykoná svoje dielo v situáciách, ktoré sú z ľudského pohľadu beznádejné. Ježiš neohrozuje tvoj život. Je Božou príležitosťou ku zmene. Počuj slovo proroka: Odo dneška budem požehnávať. (Ag 2,19b) Toto nie je hrozba, ale ponuka pomoci! Curt Westman

VOV1 - Các vùng miền của Nhật Bản đang phải hứng chịu những hiện tượng thời tiết cực đoan trái chiều, với nhiều khu vực hạn hán nghiêm trọng và nhiều khu vực băng tuyết dữ dội chưa từng có.  Theo báo cáo của Bộ Đất đai Hạ tầng Giao thông và Du lịch Nhật Bản vừa được công bố hôm nay 5/2, bắt đầu từ cuối mùa Thu năm 2025, toàn bộ khu vực duyên hải Thái Bình Dương kéo dài từ vùng Kanto – miền Trung, đến Kyushyu – miền Nam nước này, lượng mưa luôn ở mức rất thấp, dẫn tới tình trạng hạn hán đang lan rộng, ảnh hưởng trực tiếp đến sinh hoạt và hoạt động sản xuất của cư dân.Báo cáo cho biết, tính đến thời điểm ngày 2/2, do ảnh hưởng của hạn hán, mức nước của hầu hết các hồ dự trữ nước trọng yếu của các khu vực nêu trên đều xuống thấp chưa từng có. Trong đó, đập Odo ở tỉnh Kochi đã rơi xuống dưới mực nước chết với lượng trữ nước 0%, hồ Kanogawa ở tỉnh Aichi 1%, đập Ohtaki ở Nara là 6%, cao nhất là đập Sakuma của Shizuoka cũng chỉ còn 26%. “Necessary Evil” 30th-anniversary reflections When someone attempts to kill Quark, Odo starts down a path that leads him to reopen a five-year-old murder investigation. Dating back to the days of Terok Nor, that mystery centered on a familiar face: Kira Nerys. Full Text of Readings The Saint of the day is Saint Berard and Companions Saint Berard and Companions' Story Preaching the gospel is often dangerous work. Leaving one's homeland and adjusting to new cultures, governments and languages is difficult enough; but martyrdom caps all the other sacrifices. In 1219, with the blessing of Saint Francis, Berard left Italy with Peter, Adjute, Accurs, Odo and Vitalis to preach in Morocco. En route in Spain, Vitalis became sick and commanded the other friars to continue their mission without him. They tried preaching in Seville, then in Muslim hands, but made no converts. They went on to Morocco where they preached in the marketplace. The friars were immediately apprehended and ordered to leave the country; they refused. When they began preaching again, an exasperated sultan ordered them executed. After enduring severe beatings and declining various bribes to renounce their faith in Jesus Christ, the friars were beheaded by the sultan himself on January 16, 1220. Saint Berard and Companions were the first Franciscan martyrs. When Francis heard of their deaths, he exclaimed, “Now I can truly say that I have five Friars Minor!” Their relics were brought to Portugal where they prompted a young Augustinian canon to join the Franciscans and set off for Morocco the next year. That young man was Anthony of Padua. These five martyrs were canonized in 1481. Reflection The deaths of Berard and his companions sparked a missionary vocation in Anthony of Padua and others. There have been many, many Franciscans who have responded to Francis' challenge. Proclaiming the gospel can be fatal, but that has not stopped the Franciscan men and women who even today risk their lives in many countries throughout the world.
