Mai 1998.
On rozláme ich oltáre a zničí ich posvätné stĺpy. Je čas hľadať Hospodina, až kým nepríde a nezavlaží vás spravodlivosťou.“ Modlitba: Otče, v mene Tvojho drahého Syna, Ježiša Krista, Ťa prosíme, zachráň nás pred vlastnou samospravodlivosťou! Potrebujeme sa každý deň nanovo pokoriť. Potrebujeme pozvať do našich vzťahov lásku a odpustenie. A potrebujeme múdrosť Tvojho Ducha. Všetko si už pre nás urobil. Daroval si samého Seba. My už Ti môžeme len ďakovať a chváliť Ťa! Amen. Potrebujeme pozvať do našich vzťahov lásku a odpustenie.“ Potom urobte jeden krok preorania úhoru: odpusťte niekomu, kto vás zraňoval, alebo urobte jeden krok milosrdenstva. Dnes som vďačný za tieto 3 veci: _________________________________ _________________________________ _________________________________ Viac o vďačnosti, čo to je, prečo je dôležité byť vďačný, ako praktizovať vďačnosť nájdeš na blogu

In a plot-packed thrill ride, the crew team up with the Gom Jabbars (or so Jay Leno thinks), Jeffrey Combs continues his unbroken Trek character home run streak, and Matt and Andy pause from asking, "Why isn't Odo using his T-1000 hands?" to ask, "Why did they wait so long to bring Odo in to use his T-1000 hands?"[Episode discussion begins around 1:25]
When Sisko runs the old Lion in Winter play and Odo lays down karate chops, your hosts go deep on everything from the anatomy of coups to cadet jawlines as we review "Paradise Lost"! This episode really has everything – betrayal, deceit, plucky trickster 'Miles', real coffee, and the true opening moves to a story that is just beginning.
Episode Notes Yes we skipped the Quark forcefemm one. The Sound of Her Voice: Odo and Quark flirtation. Everyone's in a bad mood. Establishing communications with the stranded officer! Jude is suspicious. Cross-species relationship issues. The engineer's trilemma. Mailbox. Lisa solves problems from beyond the grave. Quark tries to engineer a rom-com so that Odo is busy during his shady business. Quark has to filter normal emotions through the frame of Ferengi horseshit. The end is the saddest but also the least bad. Tears of the Prophets: Turning tides of war. The moment you know things are going to go wrong. The bitch is back! Dukat has become an Indiana Jones villain. God stink. Prophecy vs. directive vs Starfleet policy. Dukat meets a Pah Wraith. Dax is saved, but Jadzia is not. We stan Terry Ferrell. If it weren't for the plot we hate, this would be a very good space battle storytelling episode. BabSpace9 is a production of the Okay, So network. We've got shockingly little Majel in the TOS episode that ostensibly is a spotlight focus on her. Then we're in to the wild world of Lwaxana Troi as she gets kidnapped by Ferengi in TNG and that version of the Ferengi are the absolute worst. Like Internet Guy worst. Episode Notes First there's a lot of non-DS9 chat, sorry. Who Mourns for Morn: Quark has been holding Morn's seat via holo-Morn. But Morn has... died? The entire station shows up to his wake. Morn leaves everything to Quark, which is... nothing. Except for a painting of a matador. And a mud bath. And a naked woman. And a rumor of 1000 bricks of gold-pressed latinum. Quark gets threatened by the most Coen Brothers goons ever. Morn was... a prince? So many short cons. It's not latinum, it's just... worthless gold. Odo and Quark have boyfriend telepathy. One Little Ship: Time to do SCIENCE. Kira is genre aware and thinks it's hilarious to shrink members of the command crew. Nog covers for Worf. Intergenerational conflict among the JemHadar. Itty Bitty Photon Torpedoes. Maybe the Founders put a little too much Cardassian in the new Alphas. BabSpace9 is a production of the Okay, So network. Episode Notes This episode breaks the 4th wall in a fascinating way. Introducing Benny Russell, and some almost-familiar faces. Casual 1950s racism and sexism. Imagining a better future. Armon gets to be the moral backbone of a story for once. In every reality, Odo is a fascist. You never quite expect to hear the hard-R n-word in Trek but here we are. Vesper's new efficiency as Guildmaster is interrupted when his deputy Odo completes an investigation into Karch's letter and what it could mean. What begins as a routine accounting review explodes into a shocking revelation: the Craft Guild isn't poor at all. Guildmaster Orion kept them impoverished through deception, hoarding wealth through paper transactions while claiming poverty. As Odo trembles with excitement over ledgers within ledgers, Vesper realizes the true scope of his predecessor's secret empire. An empire now under his control.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-thieves-guild--6141933/support.Some secrets are worth dying for. Episode Notes Resurrection: The merits of dinner parties. Ughhh it's Bareil again. Or a Mirror Universe Bareil, except not fun or horny. Jude rants about orbs again. Noooo Kira don't do it. Oh good, Mirror Kira. Hopefully there's an actual HR rep for this Bajoran-Starfleet joint op, and that it's not Odo. Justen hates that this is a Mirror Universe episode without the Mirror Universe. Statistical Probabilities: Yes, this is a metaphor for autism. Also the politics of augmentation. Damar gets a promotion. "Uncomplicated" might not be a compliment. Jack suggests doing a treason. There are problems with this episode but it's nice to see Bashir unmask a bit. Jack may be Nate Silver. BabSpace9 is a production of the Okay, So network. “Necessary Evil” 30th-anniversary reflections When someone attempts to kill Quark, Odo starts down a path that leads him to reopen a five-year-old murder investigation. Dating back to the days of Terok Nor, that mystery centered on a familiar face: Kira Nerys. After seeing her as a prime suspect in the killing of a shop owner named Vaatrik, Odo ultimately dismissed her involvement—in part to protect her from Gul Dukat—but never quite let go of the unsolved case. The presence of Vaatrik's widow aboard DS9 alongside the attack on Quark, together with the discovery of a list of eight Bajoran names, sets Odo into full Columbo mode. And what he ultimately uncovers may change how he sees Kira forever. In this episode of The Orb, hosts C Bryan Jones and Matthew Rushing continue our 30th-anniversary retrospective that will take you through all of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, one episode at a time. In this installment, we discuss “Necessary Evil,”how the story brings the history of the station to life, what it says about the Kira–Odo relationship, and more. Full Text of Readings The Saint of the day is Saint Berard and Companions Saint Berard and Companions' Story Preaching the gospel is often dangerous work. Leaving one's homeland and adjusting to new cultures, governments and languages is difficult enough; but martyrdom caps all the other sacrifices. In 1219, with the blessing of Saint Francis, Berard left Italy with Peter, Adjute, Accurs, Odo and Vitalis to preach in Morocco. En route in Spain, Vitalis became sick and commanded the other friars to continue their mission without him. They tried preaching in Seville, then in Muslim hands, but made no converts. They went on to Morocco where they preached in the marketplace. The friars were immediately apprehended and ordered to leave the country; they refused. When they began preaching again, an exasperated sultan ordered them executed. After enduring severe beatings and declining various bribes to renounce their faith in Jesus Christ, the friars were beheaded by the sultan himself on January 16, 1220. Saint Berard and Companions were the first Franciscan martyrs. When Francis heard of their deaths, he exclaimed, “Now I can truly say that I have five Friars Minor!” Their relics were brought to Portugal where they prompted a young Augustinian canon to join the Franciscans and set off for Morocco the next year. That young man was Anthony of Padua. These five martyrs were canonized in 1481. Reflection The deaths of Berard and his companions sparked a missionary vocation in Anthony of Padua and others. There have been many, many Franciscans who have responded to Francis' challenge. Proclaiming the gospel can be fatal, but that has not stopped the Franciscan men and women who even today risk their lives in many countries throughout the world. Episode director David Livingston offers up his thoughts on Odo's feelings, casting decisions, shot selection, and the scene Colm Meaney really loved to do as well as his choices for his best-directed episodes of DS9 and Voyager, but what grade will he give his own work: TREK, MARRY, or KILL? Kira forgets about Odo in this heart-breaking, difficult-to-watch, but undeniably great episode. And Odo FINALLY doesn't forget to use his T-1000 silver weapon hands to do SOMETHING.[Episode discussion begins around 51:00]
Episode Notes Lots of war episodes... time for a wedding! Sisko has nominated Martok as supreme commander. Quark wants to know if the wedding will be at the bar. Jadzia wants the wedding before Alexander gets killed. Dax is amused by Worf's bridezilla-ing. Worf sells what the boys think is a 4 day bachelor party. You should really read Shakespeare in the original Klingon. Klingon domestic politics. Jadzia has a bachelorette party with basically everyone not at Worf's ascetic fast-fest. O'Brien Suffers [fun?]. What better place to talk about feelings than a loud and noisy party? Kira and Odo 7 hours in heaven. O'Brien and Bashir have some goofs. Klingon mythology kinda rules. We love this episode AND there are some things we wish they'd included. BabSpace9 is a production of the Okay, So network. Episode Notes Favor the Bold: Odo and the Changeling... ugh. They could not have conveyed Odo's shame and disgust more clearly. Rom's on death row. The fate of the Alpha Quadrant is in... Quark's hands? Damarr is just bad at everything. Morn?! Kira whoops Damarr like he's Worf on TNG. Nog receives a promotion! The heroes so far are Quark, Rom, and Morn. Sisko is tired of running, time to retake DS9. Sacrifice of Angels: The Charge of the not-so-light brigade. Time for a fleet battle. Quark is... not under suspicion? 4D Chess. The comparative morals of exterminatus vs triumphs. Weyoun finally reads Dukat. Costuming choices. The Female Changeling makes some choices. Quark does some shenanigans. Quark does some SHENANIGANS. Odo to a very disappointingly motivated rescue. Space gods to a very dickish rescue. Check out Justen's new project! The Vampire With No Name is a production of Dubious Creatures Press. In an extra lengeth episode, we dive into the depts of every part of the true beginning of the best Trek ever made - "The Die is Cast"! Garak has made the classic error of thinking he can go back to work at the job that fired him last time, Sisko provides a perfect demonstration of Starfleet General Order 2, and Odo proves exactly how good a man he has become.
Episode Notes We had a good week. Too bad these episodes are less good. Sons and Daughters: Worf continues to bridezilla. Bet you forgot Alexander existed, because Worf sure did. Worf continues to be a terrible dad. Dukat is a less terrible parent than Worf, somehow. Dukat is able to simultaneously be genuine and try to find every possible advantage. Martok is, on the other hand, a swell dude and a better friend than Worf deserves. Behind the Line: The Defiant is operating out of Starbase 375 and kicking butt. So much that Sisko's skills are being "better used elsewhere". Poor Captain Dad. The Ketracel White situation is getting worse, and Damarr has no opsec. The Female Changeling stops by the station to goo with Odo, and gosh is that bad for the resistance cell. BabSpace9 is a production of the Okay, So network. At long last the good show that Deep Space Nine has been starts to transform into the great show it is destined to be as we watch and review "Improbable Cause"! Garak has a big all kabloom go off in his shop, Odo proves himself the best detective, and we dig deep on the galactic geopolitics to come.
Dangers abound back in Sector 001 and that means it's time for a Sisko family vay-cay! Ben and his dad perform at the top of their lungs, Odo escapes Dax's merciless bullying to go seagull-to-seagull with the changelings, while Leah Brahms returns in her secret identity![Episode discussion begins around 50:00]

And now, the conclusion… of our deep dive into Star Trek's first three-part episode arc ever, wrapping up with DS9's “The Siege.”This week, Kira and Dax get their Top Gun on while Sisko, O'Brien and Odo play Die Hard on the station. So snack on a palukoo and listen now!
Sisko is out of commission, Kira finally learns how to treat him like a regular friend and not with all the reverence due the Emissary (had she been doing that?), Worf plays out the ol' "person suddenly in command who needs to learn how to be command" trope, and Bashir and Dax get cracking on retconning Bashir. But don't forget about Odo! Actually, you probably can except for one scene.[Episode discussion begins around 1:23 - for a whopping 2:45 for a regular episode! Mostly nonsense.]
Sisko and Odo work to stop a coup in “The Circle,” the second episode of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's three-part Season 2 premiere, and we have another commentary track for you! This week's TR3 is full of behind the scenes trivia — from the first appearance of Sisko's baseball to the typo in the opening credits and much more (interesting, we hope, stuff).
