We are trying something new. We want to leverage our platform to tell the story of those entrepreneurs who are building in the mental health space that do not get the air time they deserve. In this new segment, you will hear from a handful of mental health startup founders. Each of these entrepreneurs has been given 3 minutes, uninterrupted, un-edited, to tell their story. They will explain why they are working in this space, what are they building, and how far along are they. We intend to publish founder spotlights a couple times a month. This is not a fundraising pitch. In fact, some of these entrepreneurs are not building what you would consider a venture-backed business (however, some are). This is not intended to be "shark tank." You aren't going to be hearing from the high flying, big names in the space like Ginger, Mindstrong, and others here. This is a place to learn about the founders who receive less fanfare, and less attention. Connect entrepreneurs to people who may be able to help them. Give our audience a sense of what ideas are being built which may encourage more people to get involved in the space and maybe even help match talent, resource, and capital with entrepreneurs. It’s My Way! is the first album by folk singer Buffy Sainte-Marie. Though the album did not chart it proved influential in the folk community. It is most famous for two widely covered folk standards, "Universal Soldier" and "Cod'ine", as well as "Now That the Buffalo's Gone", a lament about the continued confiscation of Indian lands, as evidenced by the building of the Kinzua Dam in about 1964. The cover features a mouthbow, which was to be a trademark of her sound on her first three albums. This week Dave and Josh are here to discus how they felt about this album.Everything Listening Innhttp://forgetbeingcool.com/lip/Everything Joshhttp://forgetbeingcool.com/joshEverything Davehttp://forgetbeingcool.com/david

This week Josh picked our album. The Low End Theory is the second studio album by American hip hop group A Tribe Called Quest, released on September 24, 1991, by Jive Records. Recording sessions for the album were held mostly at Battery Studios in New York City, from 1990 to 1991. How did Dave feel about it? Did he end up liking it? Does it need more to impress Dave?Everything Listening Innhttp://forgetbeingcool.com/lip/Everything Joshhttp://forgetbeingcool.com/joshEverything Davehttp://forgetbeingcool.com/david
This week on Listening Inn Dave picked Specter at the Feast the seventh studio album by American rock band Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, released on March 18, 2013 in Europe and March 19, 2013 in the US. It was released under the band's own record label, Abstract Dragon, through Vagrant Records. Unlike Beat The Devil's Tattoo, the album wasn't produced by Michael Been, who died after he suffered a heart attack mid-tour in 2010 while the band was playing at Pukkelpop. As a result, Specter at the Feast was a way for the band to mourn their loss and rid the pain, as he was the father of bassist Robert Levon Been, but also their live sound technician and a mentor to all the members. Did Dave pick a winner? Was Joh bored to tears?Everything Listening Innhttp://forgetbeingcool.com/lip/Everything Joshhttp://forgetbeingcool.com/joshEverything Davehttp://forgetbeingcool.com/david
Nanda Collection (なんだこれくしょん Nandakorekushon, lit. "What's this collection") is the second full-length studio album by Japanese recording artist Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, release on June 26, 2013, by Warner Music Japan. The album debuted at number one in the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart, becoming the first chart topper release of Kyary's career as well as the first Yasutaka Nakata-produced album to do so since Perfume's JPN in 2011. Yeah that's right Josh picked JPOP.
