Zo is joined by Katie, our fabulous returning guest from the podcasts Retromade: Your Pop Culture Rewind and One More Round: The Rocky Series Podcast. Together Zo and Katie investigate a shadowy government black ops military program. Publicly the program appears to be specially trained soldiers engaged in domestic anti-terrorist operations. (What backroom deals that were made to allow U.S. Soldiers to conduct actual military missions within the  borders of the U.S. during peace time is anybody's guess). The physical conditioning of the soldiers is impressive to the point of seeming impossible. The rumor is that they can run and swim faster, and longer and are much stronger than even the best trained Olympic level athlete. There are tales that they are impervious to pain and recover from injury at fantastic rates. The deeper rumor is that these so called Universal Soldiers aren't even alive, but the reanimated corpses of service members who've fallen in combat. What will happen when the public finds out that the U.S. Army is using zombie soldiers? Episode Segment Time Stamps Opening Credits . . . . . . 00:13:36Favorite Parts . . . . . . . . 00:39:20Trivia . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .01:25:29Critics' Thoughts . . . . . 01:42:31 Retromade Links:Podcast: https://retromade.captivate.fmYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@RetromadePodcastFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/retromadepodcast Please leave a comment, suggestion or question on our social media: Back Look Cinema: The Podcast Links:Website: www.backlookcinema.comEmail: fanmail@backlookcinema.comYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@backlookcinemaTwitter: https://twitter.com/backlookcinemaFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/BackLookCinemaInstagram: https://instagram.com/backlookcinemaThreads: https://www.threads.net/@backlookcinemaTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@backlookcinemaTwitch https://www.twitch.tv/backlookcinemaBlue Sky: https://bsky.app/profile/backlookcinema.bsky.socialMastodon: https://mstdn.party/@backlookcinemaBack Look Cinema Merch at Teespring.comBack Look Cinema Merch at Teepublic.com Again, thanks for listening.

“Like most motion pictures, this needed way more Reginald VelJohnson” - Andrew On this week's episode, we're chatting about the high body count/low IQ, Christmas-set sequel, Die Hard 2! Why couldn't they have developed a script where now-LAPD detective John McClane has some adventure on the streets of Los Angeles instead of a boring D.C. airport? How amazingly scuzzy and inept is Dennis Franz's Carmine Lorenzo? Did they really need to go the sequelitis route of just repeating famous beats from the first film? And has there been a better villain introduction than William Sadler's totally nude Colonel Stuart? PLUS: Dennis Franz storms out of a screening of the film Her! Die Hard 2 stars Bruce Willis, Bonnie Bedelia, William Sadler, Franco Nero, John Amos, Reginald VelJohnson, William Atherton, Art Evans, Fred Thompson, Tom Bower, Sheila McCarthy, and Dennis Franz as Carmine Lorenzo; directed by Renny Harlin. Snag your tickets and don't miss us THIS THURSDAY, December 7th, at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City, NJ where we'll be doing a live show all about Tim Allen in The Santa Clause! Don't hesitate, this is our only NY metro-area show for a spell!  Today's episode is brought to you in part by Factor! Head over to FACTORMEALS DOT COM SLASH WHM50 and use code WHM50 for 50% off!
