We’ve got company! On this episode, Rae and Veronica invite their very special friend Lee to join in on the discussion of Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall. All three hosts wax poetic about the amazingness that is Oliver Blackwood and his delicious V-cut. We play a game of ‘two truths and a lie” that involves seriously sexy times, discover what exactly a gallic shrug is, and Rae insults the entire country of Scotland with her attempt at a Scottish brogue. As per usual, we discuss any upcoming America’s Ass news. Disclaimer: Rae had many glasses of wine and very little food...so enjoy. To purchase Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall, visit Amazon or inquire at your local bookseller. Today's Guest: R.C. Sproul, Jr. For Christians and non-Christians alike, the loss of a loved one can be a devastating thing, and fear of it can be paralyzing. How does a person live as a grieving person in an authentic way, while at the same time living faithfully and fully for the sake of their LORD Jesus? In this conversation I had the opportunity to ask those questions of R.C. Sproul, Jr. In the past year R.C. has lost his wife and one of his children and speaks very openly and genuinely about the grief he is experiencing, the process he's been going through, and the rock-solid theology that has held him up all along the way. Jesus restores the original Today's Speaker: Carey Green Male female relationships have always been tough... well, not really always. Originally God created male and female in such a way that they were complementary to each other, carrying out roles within their relationship that made everything work. And Jesus came to restore that way of functioning... but whether or not Christian couples live that out depends in large part on whether they understand what He's done and what He intends. In today's episode of the podcast we look at how Jesus dealt with women and find that He took on an attitude about women that was very, very different from that of the sinful culture in which He lived. He lived according to the original design of God, and restored it. Today's Guest: Rob Rienow It's a heart-breaking situation for Christian parents when their adult children turn away from the faith. It can be very tempting to give up hope, resigning yourself to the reality that your children are grown and have made their own choices. But does that mean there's nothing you can do? Are there things that the LORD can do in your heart and through you that might make a difference? In this episode Rob Rienow discusses this issue with us, and reveals some powerful biblical principles to help us navigate this difficult topic.
