Fresno Police have arrested the brother of the pregnant woman who was murdered and set on fire in Northwest Fresno. Jurors in the sex assault trial of Harvey Weinstein will try again Wednesday to reach a verdict -- the ninth time they will convene to decide the fate of the former film producer.  Prosecutors played police body cam video of the hammer attack on Paul Pelosi in court Wednesday as accused attacker David DePape appeared in court, wearing an orange jumpsuit. Oregon Gov. Kate Brown announced plans Tuesday to commute the sentences of the 17 people on death row to life in prison without the possibility of parole, most likely using her executive clemency powers for the last time as governor. A California law that prohibits new oil and gas wells from being drilled near homes, schools and hospitals could face a referendum in the 2024 election. Soccer Journalist, Grant Wahl died of an aneurysm in his heart while covering a World Cup match this past weekend. Wahl had complained during the World Cup about feeling ill. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Gary is back to discuss how local officials are calling attention to Granite Park's current insurance policy, which doesn't cover the city of Fresno--a violation of the park's lease that makes the city liable for lawsuits. Councilmembers Garry Bredefeld and Mike Karbassi say inadequate insurance is one of the ways that Terance Frazier, president of Central Valley Community Sports Foundation which runs Granite Park, is violating the lease agreement with the city. A 10-year-old girl is recovering in stable condition after being shot Wednesday night outside an apartment complex in Northwest Fresno. A newly-released Pentagon report says some witnesses who reported UFO sightings also experienced injuries including radiation burns, brain problems and damaged nerves.
