Daniel Cormier GOES OFF ON Paddy Pimblett, Max Holloway, & Gable Stevenson GETTING MONEY WITHHELD

Daniel Cormier IS BACK after UFC 329 made headlines with Paddy Pimblett, Max Holloway, and Gable Stevenson all facing potential money withheld because of jumping on the cage after their victories. Technically speaking, rules do not allow fighters to exit the cage after a victory, but DC argues that the emotion of a massive victory and given the stakes of all three of their fights, the rule NEEDS TO CHANGE. Paddy Pimblett had a nasty first-round submission of Benoit Saint-Denis, Max avenged a loss vs. Conor McGregor, and Gable made his UFC debut with an incredible knockout victory. Cormier talks about when he did that against Stipe Miocic after his KO win at UFC 226, and why speaking from experience, these fighters should be allowed to show their emotion in those big wins. #VolumeSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

They begin by discussing the major angle with The Bloodline that closed the show. Is Roman officially a heel now or will he somehow be a blurry character next week again? Is Solo shining in this role? What's next for everyone involved? Should Roman lose the title before winning it back and facing Oba next year? If so, to whom? Also, the intriguing Paul Heyman-Oba Femi-Bron Breakker situation, Liv Morgan-Stephanie Vaquer-Becky Lynch, Je'Von Evans-Big Cass, and more with live caller and chat interactions throughout. On April 1, 1987, a radio DJ named Steve Cook put a song on the air at WTCM in Traverse City about a creature with the head of a dog and the body of a man that walks the north woods of Michigan and comes back every 7 years. He'd made up every piece of it over a single weekend as an April Fools joke, including the 7-year cycle and the 1887 origin date that people still repeat as history nearly 40 years later. What came back wasn't a laugh. It was a flood of calls from people who wanted to tell him what they'd already seen out there and had never told anybody. This is the latest stop on the backwoods cryptid road trip, and Brian works the documented history first. The 1887 lumberjack account that no newspaper from that year has ever been found to carry. Robert Fortney's 1937 encounter with 5 wild dogs on the Muskegon River, one of which stood up. The cabin door outside Luther that got clawed from top to bottom in 1987 and became the only physical artifact this legend has. And the Gable Film, the 8mm footage that surfaced in 2007, fooled a national television audience for 3 years, and was admitted as a hoax by a Michigan man named Mike Agrusa in 2010.Then the episode belongs to the encounters.A truck driver comes out of a curve on M-55 at 3 a.m. in November 2014 and finds something roughly 7 feet tall standing on the centerline, and it turns its head toward him and then walks off on two legs. Three campers in the Manistee National Forest spend a night in September 2011 listening to something circle their clearing two steps at a time, and in the morning the one who slept through it asks a question nobody wants to answer. Two cousins walking out of a Lake County hunting property in November 2021 realize something is matching their pace 40 yards off the two-track and stopping a beat late every time they stop. And on the morning of November 14, 2017, a retired tool and die man in a Missaukee County ladder stand picks up amber eyes 6 feet off the ground, chambers a round he never fires, and then sits up there another 20 minutes because climbing down feels worse. The buildings are the part Brian didn't expect. A family near Luther listens to something scratch their front door in October 2019, first at waist height and then at eye level, and then hears what comes out of the dark on the north side of the cabin. A farm couple in Osceola County watches one standing at the corner of the machine shed inside the yard light in 2005, tall enough that its head clears an 8-foot gable trim. A nurse alone at her family's camp northwest of Baldwin in November 2013 wakes to a growl 4 feet from her head with one wall in between, calls 911, and waits 40 minutes for a deputy.A county plow driver east of Lake City catches something with his wing blade in February 2012 and finds hair 4 feet up on the steel, and his foreman tells him it was a deer. A gas well operator pulls onto a pad in Antrim County at 2:30 a.m. in 2019 and watches something go over a 6-foot chain link fence with one hand on the top rail. And a deer camp in Kalkaska County comes out at first light in 2008 to find one buck on the ground with the knot still tied and the other one 60 yards back in the pines with the hindquarters gone.Michigan's Bigfoot record gets its own stretch of the episode, from the circus at Sister Lakes in June 1964, when hundreds of armed strangers drove into a rural township to shoot a monster, to the August 1965 roadside incident near Monroe that left 17-year-old Christine Van Acker with a black eye that ran in the papers.Brian also covers a Roscommon County hunter who watched something close to 7 feet tall walk away up a two-track on two legs during the 2016 firearm season, a fisherman standing on the Fox River before 5 a.m. in 1987, and a timber cruiser working a block in Menominee County in 1998 who had a rock come out of the canopy at him and found a track in a skid trail the next morning that he never photographed.Brian lays out what the Michigan Department of Natural Resources has said about all of this for decades, what Steve Cook has said about his own song for almost 40 years, and what two nights of driving the Baldwin and Luther corridor in the dark actually produced. Email BrianJoin Our FREE NewsletterGet Brian's Books Leave Us A VoicemailVisit Our WebsiteHave you experienced a Bigfoot sighting, Sasquatch encounter, Dogman experience, UFO sighting, or any unexplained cryptid or paranormal event deep in the woods? Pro wrestler and Banana Ball cast member Shane “The Smoke Show” Savage joins Sorg and The Riz for a conversation about the surprising connection between body slams, baseball stadiums and fan-first entertainment. Also known to wrestling fans as The Savage Gentleman Victor Benjamin, Shane is now Mr. November and a member of the Calendar Crew for the Banana Ball Firefighters. He explains what a Banana Ball cast member does, how the experience compares to professional wrestling and why performers with wrestling backgrounds are uniquely prepared to entertain tens of thousands of fans in packed stadiums. Shane shares the full-circle story of attending Banana Ball at PNC Park, immediately realizing that he belonged in that world and eventually receiving the opportunity to join the organization. He discusses performing in football stadiums, meeting fans throughout every level of the venue and experiencing Iowa's emotional stadium wave to children watching from a nearby hospital. The conversation also explores Banana Ball's fans-first philosophy. Shane explains how small gestures, personal interactions and taking time to acknowledge supporters can create moments that last a lifetime. He reflects on faith, gratitude, career changes and learning to appreciate opportunities instead of immediately rushing toward the next destination. Back in the wrestling world, Shane recounts being unexpectedly booked against Matt Riddle for Northeast Wrestling. The dream match brought his MMA and professional wrestling experiences together while reconnecting him with someone who helped influence the development of The Savage Gentleman character during an earlier EVOLVE seminar. The weekend became even more surreal when wrestling legends Ron Simmons, Lex Luger, Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Hart began asking Shane about Banana Ball. Shane discusses the validation of seeing performers he admired recognize that his Banana Ball contract represents a major accomplishment—even without the traditional wrestling television contract he once pursued. Sorg and The Riz also discuss the latest wrestling stories, including Lyra Valkyria's character transformation, Danhausen's Madison Square Garden opportunity, WWE's upcoming card, the possibility of Nick Aldis returning to the ring and several standout matches from Enjoy Wrestling. Other topics include Nick Gage's Pittsburgh appearance, Sonny Kiss moving to Pittsburgh, the chaotic Captain's Fall match, Dani Mo versus Hazuki, Violence Is Forever battling The Fourth Line and why wrestling promotions must make their characters and stories understandable to brand-new fans. News Stories and Topics Discussed Lyra Valkyria's character reset: The panel examines Lyra's disheveled presentation and more emotionally unstable direction. They believe she has always possessed the wrestling ability but needed a character that felt uniquely hers. Learning from Bayley: The group discusses how working with an experienced performer such as Bayley could help Lyra develop the personality and presentation needed to reach another level. The problem with crowded wrestling promos: Sorg critiques multi-person in-ring promos where performers stand in positions that block the audience and television cameras. Danhausen at Madison Square Garden: The crew previews Danhausen's match and speculates about possible celebrity appearances, New York personalities and outside involvement in the no-disqualification environment. Cody Rhodes and CM Punk attempting to coexist: The upcoming tag-team match against Gunther and Sami Zayn inspires a discussion about wrestling's traditional “can they coexist?” storyline. Nick Aldis versus Gunther: The panel believes WWE is slowly building toward Aldis removing the suit and returning to the ring for a major confrontation with Gunther. Nick Aldis as an authority figure: Shane and Sorg praise Aldis for bringing credibility, composure and a believable sense of authority to his role. Chad Gable and Penta: The panel discusses the continuing masked-character storyline and the hometown reaction Gable could receive. Women's Tag Team Championship: Fatal Influence's match against Paige and Brie is discussed as a possible opportunity to finally establish the faction as a significant threat. Beastman's Big Ass Birthday Bash: The show previews the unpredictable VCW event, including Beastman versus Toby Klein in a fans-bring-the-weapons birthday brawl. A mime at a deathmatch birthday party: The presence of Jean-Paul the Miserable leads to speculation about whether Shane would wrestle a mime. Congo Kong versus Jamie Jameson: The panel anticipates another violent and unpredictable championship encounter. Banana Ball explained: Shane describes Banana Ball as real baseball surrounded by nonstop entertainment, comparing its basic concept to the Harlem Globetrotters while emphasizing that it has grown into something much larger. The Banana Ball Firefighters: Shane explains that he is not a baseball player. As Mr. November, he is a cast member and part of the Calendar Crew responsible for energizing fans throughout the stadium. Why Banana Ball hires wrestlers: Wrestlers understand improvisation, crowd interaction, character work, physical entertainment and how to remain composed when plans change. Shane's PNC Park revelation: After attending Banana Ball in Pittsburgh, Shane realized the presentation combined everything he loved about athletics, wrestling and entertainment. Fans-first ticketing: The discussion examines Banana Ball's efforts to maintain affordable ticket prices and help fans exchange tickets without relying on inflated resale markets. Taking entertainment to every seat: Shane describes visiting suites, press areas and upper decks so fans far from the field receive the same attention as those near the action. The Iowa wave: One of Shane's most meaningful experiences involved a stadium acknowledging children watching from a nearby hospital. Learning to reflect: Banana Ball's travel structure has given Shane more opportunities to process his experiences, practice gratitude and appreciate what is happening in the present. Small gestures matter: Following a young fan, taking a photograph or stopping for a conversation may cost a performer nothing but can mean everything to the supporter. Wrestling Matt Riddle: Shane discusses accepting a last-minute Northeast Wrestling booking and finally having a dream match against another performer with an MMA background. The EVOLVE connection: Matt Riddle previously helped Shane during a seminar that contributed to the development of his Savage Gentleman presentation. Praise from wrestling legends: Ron Simmons, Lex Luger, Jerry Lawler and Jimmy Hart became interested in Shane's Banana Ball career, creating one of his most surreal wrestling weekends. Redefining success: Shane admits he once struggled with never receiving a traditional televised wrestling contract, but Banana Ball has provided a different kind of national sports-entertainment opportunity. Faith and career direction: Shane explains how stepping away from another fight created space for the Banana Ball opportunity to arrive. Wrestling prepares performers for everything: From taking a microphone in front of thousands of people to responding to unpredictable situations, wrestling has prepared Shane for his new position. Nick Gage at Enjoy Wrestling: Sorg and The Riz recap the expected pizza cutter, tables, weapons and audience interaction from Gage's Pittsburgh appearance. A different side of Nick Gage: Shane remembers sharing a car ride with Gage and receiving thoughtful wrestling and life advice. Sonny Kiss moving to Pittsburgh: The group reacts to the announcement that Sonny Kiss is relocating to pursue a doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh. Dani Mo versus Hazuki: The match receives enthusiastic praise as one of the strongest performances on the Enjoy Wrestling show. The Captain's Fall match: The crew explains the elimination-style contest in which the match cannot end until one team's designated captain is defeated. The Fourth Line versus Violence Is Forever: The hard-hitting tag-team encounter is recommended for anyone who appreciates physical independent wrestling. Pittsburgh wrestling connections: The discussion celebrates how Pittsburgh wrestlers, producers and personalities continue appearing throughout WWE, AEW, independent wrestling and Banana Ball. Creating understandable characters: Shane argues that audiences connect with clear characters and stories. A fan seeing someone for the first time should immediately understand who that performer is. Lifting the next generation: The group reflects on Wrestle Pit's attempt to remove gatekeeping and provide opportunities to talented Pittsburgh wrestlers. “What We Learned” Breakdown Shane “The Smoke Show” Savage Shane learned—or more accurately watched the rest of the world discover—that Danhausen is a legitimate star. Having previously worked with and booked Danhausen, Shane already understood his ability to attract attention and connect with fans. Seeing Danhausen featured prominently at Madison Square Garden reinforced how far he has come. The Riz The Riz noticed WWE leaning heavily into WrestleMania IX imagery with CM Punk's black eye and championship presentation. The comparison to Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart led back to one of the show's recurring theories: wrestling stories can be recycled after approximately seven years because they feel new to another generation of viewers. Sorg Sorg learned that one of the most entertaining “Pure Wrestling” matches he has seen was Mansoor versus Daddy Magic in Ring of Honor. The wrestlers appeared confused by—or intentionally resistant to—the Pure rules. They avoided the traditional handshake, quickly exhausted rope breaks and found ridiculous ways to incorporate a chair without technically using it as a weapon. The match demonstrated that the Pure Wrestling format can support comedy and experimentation without completely abandoning its established rules. Additional Match Recommendation The Riz connected the Mansoor and Daddy Magic match to the absurd World of Sport Entertainment rounds matches presented by Mystery Wrestling. The comparison highlighted how complicated stipulations, rule manipulation and comedy can turn a familiar wrestling structure into something unexpected.

Bluebeam Conspiracy Dream Team: Serge Monast & the Fake Fake Alien Invasion (BEST OF April 8, 2026)

BEST OF: What exactly is Project Bluebeam? Proposed by writer Serge Monast in a 1994 paper titled “NASA's Project Blue Beam: Fake Alien Invasion,” it would involve hoaxed archeological finds uncovered from manufactured earthquakes and holographic projections of religious figures all intended to bring about a One World Religion and One World Government. But the paper includes all the same contemporary conspiracy talking points, from a cashless society and mind control devices to global police-state control and concentration camps. It was also clearly inspired by science fiction like the Law of One. Now that the public has been given a sort of public approval to discus the UFO, rebranded UAP in 2017, and now that the government is openly considering an official “disclosure,” Bluebeam is being revived. No matter that officials are repeating talking points from known liars and UFO mythology, the general public is already convinced, or can be easily swayed, of the official implication rather than any actual evidence. This invisible threat would constitute precisely what Carol Rosin said of what Wernher von Braun told her repeatedly about the space-based weapons / alien card. However, as with Bluebeam, Rosin and Braun have been misrepresented. The only thing that matters now is public perception, something that can be easily nudged to create an alien invasion without the need for holograms, lasers, fake earthquakes, etc. In fact, Dr. Don Donderi, a retired McGill University professor, just threatened exactly that: "[Extraterrestrials] have the technology and power to overcome our technology and power."https://archive.org/stream/NASAProjectBluebeam_201903/NASA%20Project%20Bluebeam_djvu.txt*The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. What if the smallest act of vulnerability… could completely change someone's life? In this deeply heartfelt solo episode, Darin explores a simple but radically transformative idea: go first. In a world where people are more digitally connected yet emotionally isolated than ever before, Darin breaks down the neuroscience, psychology, and human power behind making eye contact, giving genuine compliments, expressing appreciation, and risking authentic connection. From oxytocin and nervous system regulation to loneliness research and real-life stories of spontaneous connection with strangers, this episode is a reminder that healing doesn't always begin in a therapist's office—it can begin in a coffee shop, a grocery line, or a brief moment where one human being chooses to truly see another.     What You'll Learn Why modern society is experiencing a crisis of disconnection and loneliness The hidden psychological cost of avoiding vulnerability Why brief positive interactions with strangers improve mental health The neuroscience behind social rejection and fear of connection How oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin are activated through authentic interaction Why vulnerability is a trainable "muscle" that rewires your nervous system The power of eye contact, compliments, and acknowledgment Why meaningful human interaction lowers stress and inflammation How small moments of courage create ripple effects for others Practical ways to "go first" and create more connection every day Chapters 00:00:32 – Sponsor: Fatty15 and the science of cellular health 00:01:03 – C15:0, mitochondrial function, and healthy aging 00:02:12 – Why many people may be deficient in C15 00:03:19 – "Celebrate science": discovering new essential fatty acids 00:04:13 – Opening reflection: noticing strangers in everyday life 00:04:52 – The moment we stop ourselves from speaking 00:05:10 – How many genuine moments do we suppress every day? 00:05:33 – Why these "tiny swallowed moments" matter deeply 00:06:02 – Humanity starving for real human connection 00:06:23 – "I see you. You are real to me." 00:06:51 – Vulnerability begins in ordinary daily moments 00:07:18 – The central thesis: "Go first" 00:07:37 – More surrounded and more isolated than ever before 00:07:57 – Research: meaningful interactions with strangers rarely happen 00:08:07 – Loneliness and lack of belonging in modern society 00:08:27 – Gen Z and Millennials: digitally connected yet emotionally isolated 00:08:47 – The silent routines of everyday life 00:09:16 – Why engaging with strangers feels risky or intrusive 00:09:47 – The cost of avoiding connection 00:10:12 – University of British Columbia study on strangers and belonging 00:10:48 – Positive interactions reducing loneliness and increasing happiness 00:11:03 – People predict interactions will be awkward—and are wrong 00:11:15 – Darin's recent experiments talking to strangers 00:11:38 – "Everyone wants connection" 00:12:00 – The emotional lives strangers are carrying invisibly 00:12:22 – One sentence can remind someone they matter 00:12:38 – Why vulnerability feels biologically terrifying 00:13:05 – Social rejection activating the same pathways as physical pain 00:13:20 – Ancient survival wiring and fear of exclusion 00:13:49 – "Your brain is firing a lion alert" 00:14:05 – What happens biologically when you push through fear 00:14:17 – Dopamine and meaningful social interaction 00:14:53 – Why real connection feels different from notifications 00:14:59 – Oxytocin as an anti-inflammatory bonding hormone 00:15:26 – Genuine interactions changing biology in seconds 00:15:43 – Polyvagal theory and nervous system safety states 00:16:17 – Vulnerability as a practice and a muscle 00:16:37 – Darin's valet story: "Bring the cash back!" 00:17:10 – How small interactions can shift someone's entire day 00:17:20 – Going deeper with loved ones and emotional openness 00:17:53 – Vulnerability rewiring the nervous system 00:18:07 – "If you want love, be love" 00:18:24 – Small acts of kindness shifting your heart and brain 00:18:53 – Sponsor: Shakeology and nutrient density 00:20:40 – Six practical ways to practice vulnerability 00:21:05 – Action #1: make eye contact and say hello 00:21:25 – Stop swallowing genuine compliments 00:21:46 – Asking deeper, more meaningful questions 00:22:05 – Giving honest answers instead of autopilot responses 00:22:28 – Seeing and acknowledging "invisible" people 00:22:50 – Gratitude toward workers, attendants, and strangers 00:23:04 – Reaching out to someone who changed your life 00:23:30 – "Going first" is about willingness, not fearlessness 00:23:59 – Stop hiding behind your phone and look around 00:24:16 – Human connection as medicine and nervous system healing 00:24:35 – Tell someone they made you smile today 00:24:50 – Calling loved ones and expressing appreciation 00:24:59 – "Don't let another moment go by without fully engaging in your life" 00:25:07 – Closing reflections: "This is SuperLife"     Thank You to Our Sponsors Fatty15: Get an additional 15% off their 90-day subscription Starter Kit by going to fatty15.com/DARIN and using code DARIN at checkout.
