Throughout her 30 years of experience between teaching and volunteering in her children's schools, she implemented several procedures that benefited students and administrators within the school district. Punam is a Parent Impact Coach, podcast host, author, TEDx Ocala speaker. Her work focuses on bridging the gap and fostering and stronger relationship between parents and schools by empowering parents to become partners in their child's education. She has been recognized as Volunteer of the Year at Harrison School for the Arts in and has received a Key to the City in Lakeland, Florida. When Punam turned 40, she decided she needed to change her lifestyle since diabetes and heart disease runs in her family. She went from eating an entire bag of potato chips and 3 Coca-Colas in one sitting to running a marathon in 2 years.
