Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” So what are your inconsistencies saying about YOU? Consistency begins with making a decision. A decision that commits. Are you open today to committing to seeing things differently, and redefining what it really means to be consistent? Trying to be the BEST will keep us being consistently inconsistent. Why? It’s not about being either best or better. Instead, let’s focus on B.E.S.T....redefined. Being. Excellent. Starting. Today. So how about focusing on excellence instead better or best? Because excellence starts today. Every day. The "All Or Nothing Syndrome" comes from how we define consistency. It’s time for a new definition. Redefine it. Ask yourself, “WHY?” Why do you do what you do? If you want to redefine consistency for yourself, take an honest look at WHY you’re doing what you’re doing. Then… Make a decision. Redefine it. Ask yourself WHEN? How about TODAY? Become consistent at living today. So, what if you didn’t have to do it EVERY DAY? But instead, you made a commitment to do it TODAY…whatever IT is for you. Live today. The rest will take care of itself. What if you didn’t have to do it EVERY DAY? But instead, committed to doing it TODAY? Please grab your SACRED S.O.L. D.A.T.E. Become the Greatest Expression of Your True Potential: For this special edition of Entrepreneur Weekly, Alan is broadcasting from Steamboat Bay, Alaska with co-host, Randy Garn, CMO of Skipio. Our first guest is a master relationship builder and the founder of Genius Network, an invitation-only networking group of elite entrepreneurs. Joe Polish has gathered 24 game-changing industry leaders on a remote island to swap fish tales, make connections, and hone the art of reciprocity. From a rocky childhood, to struggling with addiction, to becoming a marketing expert out of pure necessity, Joe shares his personal path to success, potholes and all. Next, the spark for the bio-hacking movement was ignited on a distant Tibetan mountaintop as Dave Asprey, Founder and Owner of Bulletproof, sipped on a piping hot mug of yak butter tea. Dave became captivated with the notion of optimizing human performance and has dedicated his career to educating others. If you want to feel sharper in the boardroom, shrink your waist line, and improve overall well-being, don’t miss Dave’s top life hacks (some of them might surprise you)! When developing an effective outbound marketing strategy, start with what you know about your best customers to help you develop a good customer profile. Channel your marketing energy and resources where you’ll see the most likely returns. Narrow your list down to the handful leads that seem most promising. Do your homework on those customers in order to show them how you can offer them value. The key is to be intentional and specific. In this episode, Julie gives tips on how to create what she calls an ”intentional warm” across 4-8 weeks. You will learn how to make your outbound marketing strategy more targeted and natural. Then after “warming” the potential customer, you can call with confidence and get one step closer to converting a lead into a customer. What Do You Do Once You’ve Warmed Up a Prospect? One of the hardest parts of managing a manufacturing company’s outbound marketing strategy is knowing what to do with a potential lead after you’ve warmed them up. What’s the best way to contact them? When is the best time? There is no hard and fast way to contact a lead. It might be a phone call, email, or a LinkedIn message. Julie Poulos explains that the best rule is to approach each lead individually and give them an opportunity to respond. She gives great advice on how to be natural and authentic throughout your marketing and sales process. Julie also shares practical examples of exactly how to follow up with a lead. Hear all of this and more on this week’s episode.
