Tiffany Bond is a family law attorney who's running as a House Rep in Maine's second district. Her strategy is unique, she doesn't take contributions. She has no campaign staff and she asks that if voters wish to support her with cash, they should use that money to support small businesses and charities in Maine. Maine is a state that utilizes ranked choice voting and that helps candidates like Bond make a bigger impact. We talked about her campaign, abortion rights and the best way voters can get involved. Welcome back to #theUSApodcast with host Mike RileyIn this episode Mike has a discussion with Rob Anderson running for congress in Louisiana and Tiffany Bond running for the US Senate in MaineLouisiana's 3rd Congressional District has been held by Republicans since 2011. But with many believing the time for a blue wave across the country is now, there are some who are fighting to flip this district from red to blue. One of those people is congressional candidate Rob Anderson. Rob Anderson is running as a Democrat to represent Louisiana's 3rd District in the US House. In this episode, we speak with him about why he believes it's time for this district to be represented by a Democrat, his stance on healthcare, gun legislation and his campaign. You can follow him by going to https://www.robandersonforcongress.com/ With Republicans and Democrats fighting to retain power and win seats in the House, the voices of the Independent can oftentimes be drowned out. However, many people are looking to hear from a voice going to Washington that is not taking a partisan side but an American side. That brings us to Tiffany Bond who is an Independent running to represent the State of Maine in the US House. We speak with her about why she has no party preference, what #MaineRaising is about and her plans for Maine if she ends up going to Washington. Follow her by going to http://bond4.me/Mike also goes over the election results from Super Tuesday! WTF actually happened and how did Joe Biden take such a lead? Plus, what happens to all of the delegates from the candidates who dropped out? What happens if there is a brokered convention? Mike also talks about the latest with the Corona Virus and how the case for Medicare for all can be made because of it.

Interview with Tiffany Bond on BIHH Tiffany Bond is a practicing family law attorney and mediator who made Maine her home 8 years ago, as she finished her law degree at UMaine. She ran in Maine's 2nd Congressional race last year, which gave Maine's new ranked-choice voting (RCV) a workout. Tiffany has developed an innovative style of campaigning which made her involvement turn the Maine midterm race in 2018. That same race thrust Tiffany into the center of a fascinating lawsuit about the constitutionality of ranked-choice voting in Maine. Tiffany is also a hard-working mom of 2 boys, and we were honored to talk to her about her campaign style, drowning in misogyny, the battle for egalitarian press coverage, and the possibility of running against Susan Collins. The Patriot and Prosecutor Challenging Devin Nunes  Andrew Janz was raised in Visalia; the son of immigrants, he has committed his life to public service. Andrew returned home after law school and became a prosecutor for Fresno County, and is now running for Congress to continue serving the community. Andrew will fight for clean drinking water for residents and secure water delivery systems for our farmers who feed our nation. Andrew will be a champion for Central Valley small businesses and help bring good paying jobs to our region. It's time to put country over party and elect good people to government.   Tiffany Bond: Rural Maine is hard working, good folks, raising families. We don’t want a hand out but we need a voice. We can strengthen and diversify our economy. We can improve access to healthcare. We can do this together, the Maine way. Instead of being driven apart by political conflict, let’s use different opinions and life experiences to find solutions that are better than what any one of us can come up with alone. Let’s do it in a way where everyone has the same opportunity to be heard, with representation that isn’t sold to the highest bidder. You can hire an Independent US Representative for Maine’s Second Congressional District who isn’t distracted by the constant fundraising and just works for you.

Normally, Lafayette Park is one of those pretty, history-drenched spots in Washington, where you walk around wondering whose footsteps you might be following. You’re right across from the White House, close enough that you can practically see into the front windows. Now, though, the most important thing to know about this D.C. spot is what Occupy Lafayette Park is?—?because the square might just be full of anti-Trump protestors. Courtesy, @bustle The elections held on Tuesday, November 6, are the first midterms under President Donald Trump, and the stakes for both parties are incredibly high. A fired up Democratic base threatens Republicans’ unified control of federal government?—?and the outcome could have lasting consequences for the remainder of President Trump’s presidency and his legacy. If Democrats do well and flip one or both chambers of Congress, they could slow down Trump and the Republicans’ legislative agenda?—?or open up serious investigations into Trump, his administration, and his associates. But if the GOP retains control of both chambers, they’ll have a shot at introducing sweeping policy changes that could impact our nation for decades to come. Courtesy, @voxdotcom
