In this "in between" episodes upload, we'll cover our usual "What Are You Watching?" discussion that we've done on our normal episodes. We talk shop on our movie viewings, tv series and maybe a documentary or two. Nathan might chime in with what board games he's been trying and we can always count on host Jack to give us an update on his current gaming on his Xbox. Brad from The Cinema Guys and "Old Man Brad" is back with Drew to discuss their current watches and an update on Day 50 for "#100DaysOfHorror"- a countdown of one horror movie a day UNTIL Halloween! So listen up, relax and enjoy some great recommendations and maybe even some advice on certain watches to avoid. Thanks for listening folks! Let's have a scary good time! We are the Reel Feels Podcast, every other Wednesday we'll bring you a new movie with all the feels you can handle. We'll laugh, we'll cry and possibly restrain the frustrations to curse the heavens. But what you can count on is three guys sharing their love of cinema with you. Please leave us a review and share your "reel" feelings. Enjarrrr Stuff sets sail on the high seas for International Talk Like a Pirate Day. News High fashion awaits when you get your very own Monster Cereal Crocs Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is a new series coming to Apple TV+ complete with kaiju and the Russell boys Disney's Haunted Mansion (the movie) is coming to Disney+ on October 4 Check out our TeePublic store for some enjoyable swag and all the latest fashion trends What we're Enjoying In anticipation of this week's show, Jay found an old 1935 pirate movie starring Erol Flynn called Captain Blood. It was a totally fun pirate story with a lot of action and adventure that is still enjoyable to watch. You can still see it too. Listen in to hear how. Shua checked out Netflix's new anime adaptation of a pirate story called One Piece. The live action does a great job of using the weird, anime-like characteristics of the original cartoon. Enjoy Pirates! This week we celebrate International Talk Like a Pirate Day! In addition to annoying all your friends and family members by sounding like Long John Silver, you can also indulge in some pirate movies. Pirates have been characters in movies almost since the beginning of cinema. The adventure of swashbuckling adventurers made for an exciting movie-going experience for everyone. So we got to see Errol Flynn swinging from ship to ship and Kevin Kline singing very old Gilbert and Sullivan tunes and even Bob Hope as the buccaneer hero. Of course we also get classics like Disney classics Treasure Island, Peter Pan, and Pirates of the Caribbean and kept the genre going. There are so many more great adventures we can enjoy and some of them are on TV like Our Flag Means Death and One Piece. Plus we can even play video games like Broadsides and the Monkey Island Series. So long live pirates! (At least the harmless kind) Do you want to maraud and embezzle and even hijack? Well, drink up me hearties, yo ho! First person that emails me with the subject line, “A pirate's life for me” will get a special mention on the show. Let us know. Come talk to us in the Discord channel or send us an email to EnjoyStuff@RetroZap.com

What's up, dudes? 40 years ago, the Walt Disney World Very Merry Christmas Parade was broadcast live on National TV! Disney connoisseurs Mike Westfall from Advent Calendar House and Charlie Ague from Closer to Christmas and Ague Designs are here with me to break it down!Joan Lunden and Mike Douglas host this 1983 Christmas parade with narration written by Doug Cody. The production was directed by Chico Fernandez. Tinkerbell opened the show, and Cinderella and her entourage processed down Main Street USA. Pinocchio and the Jungle Book crews followed right behind her.The Alice in Wonderland performers come next, along with Herbie the Love Bug and a Dumbo's Circus float. Soon followed the World Champion Percheron horses hitched to wagon commissioned by Disney. Goofy drove his jalopy immediately afterward, and Robin Hood and his Merry Men succeeded him. After Carol Lawrence and the Voices of Liberty Singers performed at Epcot, Mary Poppins and Cruella de Vil glide down Main Street. The toy soldiers from “Babes in Toyland” march along, and Mickey and Minnie ride a coach behind them. Donald, Snow White, and Mrs. Claus follow on floats, accompanied by characters from Peter Pan, Chip and Dale, and the Hundred Acre Wood. Finally, Santa Claus himself flew in to close out the celebration.Victorian garb? Check. Anthropomorphic bipedal reindeer? Yep. Endless commercials from Days Inn and Eastern Airlines? Definitely! So grab your a add and top hat, hop on a float, and ride down Main Street USA to this episode all about the Very Merry Christmas Parade!Advent Calendar HouseFB: @adventcalendarhouseTwitter: @adventcalhouseIG: @adventcalendarhouseCloser to ChristmasTwitter: @closertoxmas IG: @closertoxmasAgue DesignsIG: @aguedesignsCheck us out on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Totally Rad Christmas Mall & Arcade, Teepublic.com, or TotallyRadChristmas.com! Sleepy Time Tales Podcast – Creating a restful mindset through relaxing bedtime stories
REMIX Household Science in Rural Schools. Hey friends, so sadly I've been fairly ill the last week or so. I've been completely unable to record as my voice is wrecked. But I don't want to leave you hanging so I've gone back to the archives and pulled this popular boring episode out of May 2021. I've decided to take this opportunity to reset how I do the podcast, so for the rest of September I will be digging in the archives as I start to do some pre-emptive recording so that I don't get caught unawares and unprepared in the future. Apologies for something with very traditional gender roles baked in, but this is an interesting mix of stunningly boring and good advice for everyone trying to keep house. Even if the advice on how to maintain a coal stove isn't exactly pertinent. But hey, at least you'll get a good night's rest. Story (03:19) Need help with a Podcast? Do you want to start a podcast and you'd like some help with the fiddly tasks and processes? And would you like some help to ensure your podcast is the highest possible quality.
