Send us a textThis is Part 2 of my interview on Living Music with violinist Tyler Carson. As many of you know, music is the universal language that delivers joy, healing, inspiration, and often direction to our lives. In this episode, Tyler shares some of the wisdom he's gained by connecting and living through his heart. He says it's important to "uncover the beauty within oneself.” Tyler has found his voice and practices connecting with joy every day. He believes it's not the performance but sharing ourselves that lifts the spirit of each one of us. He's learned to allow everything that happens in life to become fuel to uncover true authenticity. And he reaffirms that we find it by living in our hearts!Share your love, and the world will respond in kind.Music by Tyler Carson - Fiddlerontherock.com CDs Celtic Dreams, Africa Calling, The Rock https://youtu.beRDDX2WSUUM? Send us a textWhat is wealth? Most people think of it as an abundance of money and or power. However that's only one kind of wealth. I suggest it's a flawed concept of what is truly valuable. Because if you or I were on a deserted island, it wouldn't be a survival tool. Nor is it something that feeds our hearts, connects us to one another emotionally, or inspires courage, compassion, or the higher mind. This episode explores something much greater that expands time and space. Something I'm calling spiritual wealth. It's an intangible connection to the divine within us. The sacred heart or gift we each bring in at birth and take with us when we leave. Spiritual wealth is forgiveness, humility, love, compassion, and wisdom that transcends the physical world. It's knowing how powerful we really are in the face of life's most difficult challenges. Gifted with an ability to overcome them and change an outcome. This kind of wealth is embodied in an evolutionary process that expands with personal growth. It listens for the truth from within, not outside. It speaks to us through all kinds of mediums. Sometimes in an intuitive whisper, and others in a loud roar from our gut, or a simple unexpected change. This episode is an exploration of true wealth. The key element of a rich and rewarding life, lives in our spiritual not physical prosperity.Music by Tyler Carson from his CD Time & Tide Songs - Work In Wonder & King's Court Fiddlerontherock.comSkinplicity of SedonaManaging the Aging Process2155 W. The feature film hiatus is over, and we're back to Treasure Valley Live! For this installment, violinist Tyler Carson journeyed from Sedona, Arizona to play in our studio. His project, Fiddler on the Rock, is a stunning concoction of folk violin and classical precision. The compositions (built on loops) attack seemingly simple musical ideas from every conceivable direction, slowly morphing from catchy grooves into grand orchestrations. While filming, we were stunned that every note came from this single, solitary person. To be in the presence of such skill is humbling. Enjoy! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/treasurevalleypodcast/support

This week’s episode features interesting conversation and music from a couple of brilliant Northwest acts. First, there’s the dynamic duo of Impossible Bird, consisting of Nick Drummond on guitar and vocals and Tyler Carson on fiddle. Drummond’s beautiful tenor, coupled with Carson’s sonically exquisite violin, create incredible soundscapes. After their wonderful performance at Northwest LoveFest, they talked about their music, their influences, and how they came up with their unique sound and name. Impossible Bird will be performing Thursday, October 4th, at the Oliver Franklin CD Release Show at OM Culture, as well as October 6th and 7th at the Seattle Fusion Festival. Eclectic Approach had a huge week. They performed in front of a national television audience this past Monday (10/1) on Jimmy Kimmel Live. This Seattle outfit fuses funk, pop, rock, and hip hop to create a very musically diverse musical stew. The group’s frontman Jowed Hadeed and guitarist Ryan Jander discuss their unique, fun, and funky sound. Jordan Dettmer from Protosong.com also stops by. Protosong brings music fans an exclusive playlist of unreleased songs from stellar independent Seattle artists over a two week period – and it’s for an equally stellar cause. Jordan tells how the project came about, who is involved, and the impact they hope to make. Get more details at the link below.
