Welcome to our first interview of 2024! Today we talk with Viviana Rosales Olen and Matt Harkins, the creators of THNK1994 and the masterminds behind the "Olsens Hiding from Paparazzi" museum and the Mary-Kate and Ash Tray.Viviana and Matt tell us about how THNK1994 was first started with a museum in the hallway of their apartment and has blossomed into an experimental pop culture empire. Their second exhibit in 2016, "The Olsens Hiding From Paparazzi," featured paintings by Laura Collins of Mary-Kate and Ashley literally hiding from cameras, which gave museum goes an eerie invasive feeling as they walked through the gallery. THNK1994 is now an entire creative agency which bridges the world of experimental art and pop culture trash in the most delightful ways.Of course, we had to dig into the nitty gritty of their fascination with our gals MK&A. We talk about what inspired them to feature Mary-Kate and Ashley in their second exhibit, how creating the museum changed their perception of them, and what they hope for them now.We hope you enjoy a trip into the bizarre and inspiring world of THNK1994 as much as we did. Showgirls. It’s a bad movie. The world is full of bad movies. But what does it take to make a really great bad movie? One that inspires a cult following and Halloween costumes and theme parties and ongoing public screenings and full-on fan obsession? Whatever that special magic is, Showgirls has had it for 25 years. And on this episode, we are joined by Matt Harkins and Viviana Olen— founders of the THNK1994 museum and curators of GODDESS: The Immersive Showgirls Exhibit at the Resorts World Casino in Queens—to discuss why the film’s popularity endures despite it being truly terrible.

This year, People magazine finally gave the masses what they wanted: Idris Elba as “Sexiest Man Alive.” The annual celebration of attractiveness has often failed to reward attractiveness, especially considering 2017’s winner, not to mention 2013’s, 2009’s… Just what is People playing at? To help tackle this (and provide more celebrity tidbits than you can poke Chris Pine’s dick at), Maddie is joined by the effervescent Viviana Olen and Matt Harkins, founders of New York’s Tonya Harding Nancy Kerrigan 1994 Museum. Matt Harkins and Viviana Olen half-jokingly started a museum about Tonya Harding and Nancy Kerrigan in their apartment’s hallway. Little did they know it would snowball into creating THNK1994 - A museum that has honored The Housewives, The Olsen Twins, and most recently hosted Tiffany “New York” Pollard. We talk how this idea came about, all things Bravo, and what’s on the horizon for the duo. @THNK1994 and Good For Her wherever you find podcasts. On this very special episode, Sharon welcomes the two co-founders of the Tonya Harding Nancy Kerrigan 1994 Museum to the guest star chair...which they have to share. They discuss the process of setting up the museum and the people they've met, as well as all the happenings at their Opening Gala, which was held the night before. Sharon then applies for the docent program, before they debate which is better...a triscuit or a club cracker.
