Have you ever looked at someone and just knew God was doing something in them? In Acts 14, Paul sees a man who had never walked, and yet Paul discerned something deeper. Not weakness. Not defeat. But faith. The kind of faith that says, “God can do something with this.” So Paul calls it out. He speaks life. He gives a command in Jesus' name, and instantly, that man does what he's never done before. He stands. In this message, we're exploring the power of spiritual obedience. When we not only recognize God's work in someone's life, but we nurture it. We encourage it. We speak to the calling inside people before it ever looks possible on the outside. Because obedience isn't just about doing what God tells you. It's about calling others up into what God has planned for them.God is still using people like Paul today, people like you to speak bold, healing words over the next generation of leaders, believers, and world-changers. And sometimes, all it takes is one moment of Spirit-led courage to help someone stand up and walk into their calling. We'd love to get to know you, encourage your faith, and walk alongside you. There's a difference between knowing about Jesus and actually knowing Him. In this message, Pastor Chad takes us to one of the most powerful moments in Scripture—Jesus' encounter with the woman at the well. But it wasn't until she met Jesus—the Living Water—that everything changed. If you've ever felt like you're just going through the motions in your faith, or like something's missing no matter how hard you try to “do it right,” this message is for you. Jesus didn't offer the woman religion. He offered her relationship. And that offer is still on the table—for you. We'd love for you to take the next step with us. Today we delve into the inspiring story of the Shunammite woman from 2 Kings 4:8-37. In this powerful passage, we witness the unwavering faith and resilience of a mother who encounters both joy and heartache, yet remains steadfast in her trust in God.
It's sobering to think that our disobedience could potentially hinder God's intervention in critical situations in our lives. While God is sovereign and doesn't depend on us for anything, there are times when He calls us to participate through obedience. In 2 Kings 4, we encounter the story of a widow woman facing dire circumstances. Left with insurmountable debt after her husband's death, she faced the unthinkable prospect of losing her sons to creditors. Elisha is there to offer a word from the Lord. Elisha's response may have seemed puzzling at first. Instead of providing immediate relief, he instructed the widow to gather empty vessels and pour out the little oil she had left. It was a test of her faith and obedience in the face of adversity. Remarkably, as the widow followed Elisha's instructions with unwavering faith, the miraculous happened. The oil multiplied, filling every vessel she had gathered and providing more than enough to pay off her debts. It was a profound demonstration of God's faithfulness and provision in response to obedience. This story serves as a powerful reminder that God often works through our obedience to accomplish His purposes. Even in our most desperate moments, when all seems lost, He calls us to trust Him and follow His lead, knowing that He is faithful to fulfill His promises. May we learn from the widow's example and embrace obedience as a pathway to experiencing God's miraculous intervention in our lives. As we surrender to His will and trust in His guidance, may we witness His power and provision at work in ways we never imagined possible.
