Season 6, Episode 24 | Pastor Chad welcomes Parker Smith back to discuss the humbling realities of fatherhood revealing selfishness and the challenge of consistent time in the Word with a newborn, while they unpack 2 Timothy 1:12-18.
Condensed Message Summary (2–3 Paragraphs) In this message, Chad Veach emphasizes that Jesus' invitation to humanity is beautifully simple: come. God is not waiting for people to have everything figured out before approaching Him. Instead, He welcomes the broken, the weary, and the searching into a relationship with Him. Pastor Chad explains that many people spend their lives pursuing success, comfort, and approval, only to discover that true fulfillment is found in God's presence and the abundant life Jesus offers. Pastor Chad challenges listeners to move beyond simply attending church or practicing religion and to embrace a life fully surrendered to Jesus. Fear, shame, comparison, and selfish ambition often prevent us from experiencing everything God has prepared for us. Through Christ, however, we have been given access to the Father, a new identity, and a purpose greater than ourselves. The invitation of the gospel is not merely about eternal life someday—it's about experiencing transformation and purpose today. Ultimately, this message is a reminder that God's grace is available to everyone. No matter where you've been or what you've done, Jesus is still calling your name. The door is open, the invitation remains, and the abundant life you've been searching for begins when you simply respond to His call: come.

Through The Bible | Message 2: God's Chosen Family | Pastor Chad Dingess | 06/14/2026 by Bethesda Church
Pastor Chad teaches that God's favor is not measured by outward success, but by God's presence in our lives. Through Joseph's story, he explains that God remains with us through seasons of hardship, uses trials to develop our character, faithfully delivers us from affliction, and ultimately works His purposes in ways we could never accomplish on our own. The message reminds believers that God's favor is a shield around them and that every victory is ultimately the result of God's hand at work, not their own strength.

June 14th, 2026 Pastor Chad McDonald Have you ever planned a vacation for months in advance? You have been anticipating this trip for months, and then, you finally arrive. Your feet hit the ground in this anticipated place, joined by people you love, and you begin to take in all the sights and beauty of it. That’s the experience of David in Psalm 122. The experience of the pilgrim continues. He has been in a place that he should not be for too long (Psalm 120). He has anticipated the journey and the difficulties that await him, resting in God’s presence and protection to guide him along the way (Psalm 121). He thinks back on the call to go home to Jerusalem and worship with the nation. Now, in Psalm 122, he arrives. His feet are standing within the gates. The experience that David describes has practical application for our lives and our corporate worship. I pray that you will join us this weekend as we continue to join the pilgrim on his journey home. In Christ, Pastor Chad

In this message, Chad Veach unpacks Jesus' invitation to simply "come." Drawing from Scripture, Pastor Chad explains that God is not looking for perfection before relationship—He's extending an open invitation to every person, regardless of their past, failures, or current circumstances. Too many people spend their lives chasing success, approval, and temporary fulfillment, only to discover that nothing satisfies the soul like a relationship with Jesus. Pastor Chad challenges listeners to move beyond merely believing in God and step into the abundant life Jesus promised. Fear, shame, comparison, and self-centered living often keep us from experiencing everything God has for us. But through Jesus, we have direct access to the Father, a new identity, and a purpose bigger than ourselves. The invitation of the gospel is not just salvation someday—it's transformation today. Ultimately, this message is a reminder that God is calling each of us by name. No matter where you've been or what you've done, the invitation still stands: come. Come find freedom. Come discover purpose. Come experience the life that only Jesus can offer. The door is open, and the next step is yours to take.
Pastor Chad teaches that God's favor is not something we earn, but something that flows from a relationship with Him. Using Noah's story, he explains that God looks for people who trust and obey His Word rather than following their own desires, and that living by faith is what pleases God. He emphasizes that God's favor is ultimately given not just for our benefit, but so we can fulfill His purposes and point others to the salvation found in Jesus.

June 7th, 2026 Pastor Chad McDonald Life has been described as a beautiful cruise on a sea of icebergs. Life can become dangerous a very scary. In Psalm 121 the pilgrim has made the decision to go home. He has dwelt too long in Meschech (Psalm 120). He now leaves and as he begins the journey and sees the danger of the mountains ahead, he wonders, “Where will my help come from?” The answer is almost too good to be true. The God of all creation, the One who made the heavens and earth, loves him, cares for him, and will not only watch over him in the present journey but will also watch over him forever. I pray you will join us with weekend. Psalm 121 is my favorite psalm. Next week it might become Psalm 122, but today it is definitely Psalm 121! I believe that through this passage, God has a word for us all. Weekend worship is a Friday decision. Make plans today to worship with us. I know that all our weekends can quickly become full, but I don’t believe you will regret taking the time to join God’s people as we gather around the Word to worship Him and hear His voice. Season 6, Episode 22 | Pastor Chad interviews his son Truett days after high school graduation as he prepares for college and ROTC, discussing how to stand firm in faith amid new ideas and make faith one's own. Then, they finish out Titus by unpacking all of chapter 3.
In this message, Chad Veach reminds us that God's work in our lives often begins with a step of faith, not a feeling of certainty. Too many believers remain stuck waiting for clarity, while God is waiting for movement. Faith is not passive—it requires action. When we trust God enough to move forward, even without all the answers, we position ourselves to see Him show up in powerful ways. Pastor Chad challenges the idea that we are “waiting on God,” suggesting that in many cases, God is actually waiting on us. Fear, doubt, and overthinking can keep us from stepping into what God has already called us to do. But growth doesn't happen in comfort—it happens when we take bold steps of obedience and trust God with the outcome. Ultimately, this message is a call to act now. Breakthrough, clarity, and momentum are found on the other side of obedience. What may feel like a small step today could unlock something significant tomorrow. Stop delaying, stop overthinking, and start moving—because your next step of faith could change everything.

Pastor Chad's sermon emphasized that the Christian life, from beginning to end, depends on the Holy Spirit rather than human effort. Using Galatians 5, Pastor Chad taught that believers are saved, sustained, transformed, and assured of their relationship with God through the Holy Spirit. He contrasted two ineffective approaches to life with God—religious self-righteousness and rebellious self-indulgence—explaining that both ultimately rely on self instead of God. True spiritual growth does not come from trying harder to overcome sin but from continually walking with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to produce His fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, and self-control—in our lives. Pastor Chad concluded that lasting transformation happens through a daily relationship with God, as the Holy Spirit gradually shapes believers into the image of Christ.

May 31st, 2026 Pastor Chad McDonald This weekend is Compassion Sunday and as we turn our attention to God’s Word, we will look at the greatest compassion story ever told. The story of the Good Samaritan is one of the most well-known Bible stories. Where there is the light of Christianity, there is a knowledge of the Good Samaritan. Sadly, the idea of what a Good Samaritan is, the main point of the passage, is often lost to us. I pray that you will plan to join us this weekend as we study Luke 10 and dive deep on the question, “Who is my neighbor?” You will also have the chance to hear from a special guest and learn more about one of our primary missions partnerships. Make plans today to join us this weekend. In Christ, Pastor Chad

Season 6, Episode 21 | Pastor Chad shares fatherhood lessons on God's faithfulness, and unpacks Titus 2:11-15, discussing how God's grace trains us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, and wait for our blessed hope—the appearing of Christ who redeems us to be zealous for good works.
The 3rd Baptism | Pastor Chad Dingess | Pentecost Sunday | 05/24/2026 by Bethesda Church
In this message, Chad Veach teaches that Jesus is often not what we expect—but better than we imagined. Walking through Luke 9 and 10, the message reveals a Savior who consistently chooses unlikely people, works through insufficiency, and invites ordinary individuals into extraordinary purpose. Jesus doesn't wait for perfection before using people. Instead, He asks, “What do you have?” and multiplies surrendered lives for His kingdom. Pastor Chad emphasizes that following Jesus is not about comfort, self-promotion, or maintaining control—it's about surrender. While culture teaches us to protect ourselves and build our own kingdom, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, pick up our cross daily, and trust Him with the unexpected path. The life God has planned may not look like what we imagined, but it is always greater, deeper, and more purposeful than anything we could create on our own. Ultimately, the message reminds us that Jesus values intimacy over productivity. Through the story of Mary and Martha, we see that while serving matters, connection with Jesus matters more. The closer we get to Him, the more we realize He exceeds every expectation. He is more compassionate, more faithful, and more powerful than we thought—and His plans for us are better than we expected.
Season 6, Episode 20 | Pastor Chad and Pastor Chazz discuss Titus 2:1-10, unpacking Paul's instructions on teaching sound doctrine to older men, older women, younger women, younger men, and bondservants so they live self-controlled, reverent, pure lives that adorn the gospel and silence opponents, while sharing stories of new fatherhood, pregnancy cravings (or the surprising lack of them), and intentional marriage from Chazz's young adult Bible study.
In this message, Chad Veach teaches that God often does His greatest work in the middle of uncertainty. Faith is not about having every answer before you move—it's about trusting God enough to take the next step anyway. Too many people stay stuck waiting for clarity, comfort, or certainty, while God is calling them to walk by faith and not by sight. The miracle often happens after the movement. Pastor Chad challenges believers to stop allowing fear, insecurity, and overthinking to keep them stagnant. Delayed obedience can keep us from experiencing the breakthrough God already prepared for us. God is not asking for perfection—He's asking for trust. Growth happens when we leave what's familiar and choose faith over comfort. Ultimately, this message is a call to stop hesitating and start moving. Your next step of obedience could unlock purpose, healing, restoration, or breakthrough. Faith isn't passive—it moves. And when we trust God enough to act, we begin to see Him move in ways we never imagined.
