Most firms grow like strip malls—more offices, more people, more chaos. The best firms? They build skyscrapers. In this episode of Ask Anything, Todd Burnham and Phil McCarthy break down how to scale a law firm without losing control of culture, client experience, or economics. From intake to billing to case updates, every touchpoint either builds trust—or breaks it.This isn't theory. It's how high-performing firms eliminate leaks, create consistency, and turn service into sustainable growth. One system. One standard. One experience—no matter how big you get.Because if your client experience changes as you grow…you're not scaling—you're spreading inconsistency.Downloadable worksheet here!YouTube
We're wrapping this season of Next Gen Now in a new way—by handing the mic to the voices closest to students every week--our student ministers. In this short intro episode, we introduce a couple of our student ministers who will be stepping in to host a special run of conversations centered around real questions students are asking about faith, life, and following Jesus. Most of our listeners are parents and leaders, and this is for you too. These conversations are designed not only to engage students, but to help you better understand what they're carrying and how to walk with them in it. And if you're a student listening—this is for you. Your questions matter, and this is a space where they can be explored honestly and faithfully. What to Expect in This Series -Honest conversations around real questions students are asking -Voices from student ministers who are walking closely with this generation -A conversational approach to faith and discipleship -Practical insight for parents and leaders to better engage students We believe discipleship grows in environments where questions are welcomed, not avoided. When students are given space to ask honestly, it opens the door for deeper faith, real formation, and a more personal walk with Jesus. And when parents and leaders understand those questions, they're better equipped to walk alongside them. Students—we want to hear from you. Bring your real questions. Nothing is off the table. Parents and leaders—consider listening alongside your students or using these conversations to start meaningful dialogue at home or in your groups. If this resonates with students, this may grow into something even more—creating ongoing space just for them and their questions. Real questions don't weaken faith—they can deepen it.

Welcome to a new series we are hosting called Ask Anything! Join pastors Jason Fisher and Blake Williams from Heritage Church as they tackle real questions from their congregation about navigating faith in community. In this episode, Jason and Blake tackle some of the most difficult and personal questions Christians face: Why does a good, loving God allow suffering and evil, and why do bad things—like illness and loss—happen even to people who love Him? Drawing from Genesis, Job, John 9, Romans 8, and Hebrews 12, they explore the reality of living in a fallen world, the difference between ordinary suffering and suffering for Christ, and how God refuses to waste our pain but instead uses it to shape us into the likeness of Jesus. They emphasize God's presence with us in our suffering, pointing to the cross as the ultimate example of God entering into human pain. The conversation then turns to prayer, especially in seasons of hardship: How do we know God hears us, and what is actually happening when we pray? Jason and Blake discuss Jesus as our high priest, the Spirit interceding for us, and the way prayer not only asks God for help but also reshapes our hearts and loosens our grip on control.

In this episode of Ask Anything, Todd Burnham breaks down the fundamentals of scaling a law firm the right way — starting with identity, culture, and systems before marketing and growth. He shares a simple framework for sustainable scale, explains why great sales start with listening (not pitching), and unpacks the rising role of MSOs and private equity in reshaping the legal industry.Todd also covers hiring for work ethic, building a culture people stay for, and the “Zelda Hearts” concept — balancing health, family, and business so founders don't lose themselves while building. If you want to grow a firm without chasing tactics or burning out, this episode lays out the mindset and structure that actually drive long-term success.

Welcome to a new series we are hosting called Ask Anything! Join pastors Jason Fisher and Blake Williams from Heritage Church as they tackle real questions from their congregation about navigating faith in community. In this episode, they dive into five thought-provoking questions about discipleship, doubt, and relationships:• How should we engage with believers who question the Bible's consistency?• How do you disciple someone who questions that Jesus is the only way?• How can we lovingly engage people who have fallen deeply into sin?• What's the balance between pointing out lifestyle sins and giving space for growth?• When convictions differ from loved ones, how do you maintain relationship?Jason and Blake explore how to walk alongside others in faith—whether they're wrestling with doubts, living in sin, or holding different convictions. They emphasize the importance of understanding before correcting, letting the Holy Spirit do His work, and maintaining "soft hearts with steel spines".This conversation is for anyone seeking to love well, disciple faithfully, and navigate the messy, beautiful reality of life in Christian community.

In this message, Ed Young sits down with Cliffe Knechtle who discuss how biblical faith is an evidence-based trust in Jesus Christ, rooted in His unique identity, sacrificial death, and resurrection, which provides genuine confidence and boldness that transcends pride. He encourages believers to major on the core truths of Christianity, to think critically about their faith, and to share the gospel lovingly and authentically in a world that often views faith skeptically.
